Engaging greeting and service. Terrific breakfast selection. Tea served in a proper pot. Lively but relaxed atmosphere with a modern take on Deco feel.

Heard a lot about the Harrogate branch of this restaurant so thought we would try the Leeds one. Certainly the portions are very big but on the Mediterranean breakfast there was too much hummus and pea shoots/salad covering a lot of the plate. My choice of pancakes with blueberry compote and banana were delicious but I thought charging £1.50 for a very small amount of yoghurt as an extra was a bit steep. For the same price I have had better brunches in Leeds.

We visited today for breakfast/brunch. We didn’t book as we are not from the area and wanted to get an idea of local hotspots. When places we searched for were too busy we were in short luck finding a brunch spot before driving back in the afternoon. We found this by chance after noticing it served breakfast all day and it is an absolute gem! It’s definitely a lot bigger on the inside than it seems at first glances. Perfect interior, very spacious, great for families and had a great atmosphere alongside providing whole foods and good music. Our server James was an absolute superstar and made us feel very welcome. He was very helpful and emphasised on the quality of the food, which absolutely did not disappoint. You could taste the freshness, sausages and poached eggs cooked perfectly and the avocado was super creamy and tasty. The host, waiting staff, and baristas were all lovely and welcoming. Despite how busy this place was, we were served promptly and would definitely return.

Great Breakfast menu. Good portion sizes and great quality. Coffee was nice too and all for a fair price. Would highly recommend.

This was my first trip to Farmhouse yesterday. I had the Cinammon Graham French Toast costing 12.50. It seemed a bit expensive as I was expecting 2 slices but I like Cinammon Grahams and I like maple syrup and it was different. My family had traditional full english breakfast options and theirs were satisfactory. When my meal came there were four slices. This wasn't the problem though. The arrangement was liberally dusted with sugar, on a meal that was already sweet enough; maple syrup, Cinammon Grahams are 25% sugar, and I suspect the mascarpone and banana was sweetened as well. There was no need for all the sugar topping. After 2 slices I was feeling queasy and asked to take away the remaining two slices, after scraping off the sugar topping. I have just eaten these for my breakfast today with a banana and unsweetened greek yogurt and it still tastes too sweet. My ideal version of this would be two slices with the Cinammon Grahams, maple syrup and banana and flavoured but unsweetened mascarpone and NO sugar on top. I now note at the top of your website that your images of all the sweet dishes or sweet parts of dishes have sugar on top. If I had seen this I would not have ordered a sweet dish but the menu is just plain text. I think this practice of smothering in sugar is dangerous, especially for those of us who are overweight and pre diabetic. It would be much healthier if the sugar topping was an option. Why can't you offer this? - it is so much easier to add stuff than it is to remove it!

Came here for breakfast on Saturday 27th July, the menu looked really impressive so thought we'd give it a try. Definitely won't make the same mistake again! The restaurant had maybe 4-5 tables in, yet our food took over 50 minutes to arrive. We asked 3 different staff members if they could check on it, was told they were 'plating up' and yet still didn't arrive for another 15 mins. The food was freezing when it did eventually turn up, and the bacon looked like it was cooked on a radiator. We left pretty much the entirety of our plates, the waitress came over and asked if everything was okay - which we told her it wasn't - and she just took the plates and left. Returning promptly with the bill (at full price btw) and no apology. £45 for two grim breakfasts and cappuccino's, full of regret that we didn't just go to the Alchemist (unreal breakfast!).

What a lovely place to eat! Me and my mum had a lovely time here. The food was excellent and the service from everyone was welcoming and polite. Will definitely be back!!

My friend and I popped in for late lunch right before close, James was great and very accomodating despite us coming in right before their close time. Food was fantastic, especially for veggies and service was great from James! Would recommend :) x

Took 30-35 mins to arrive, and it was sheyt. Theyre charging premium prices, you can probably make a nice breakfast yourself at home.

Beautiful food, excellent customer service. Visited here with friends and we all picked something different. Not one of us could fault our food or the service. Really good value for money and looking forward to returning.

We booked lunch for Mother's Day here as we've frequented the Harrogate site but have yet to visit Leeds. We had a fantastic experience. The quality of ingredients used in the food was excellent, and despite a clearly busy Mother's Day lunch, we didn't have to wait long for food. Amazing food as always. We have 2 toddlers and the team were great with them, cleverly bringing their food out sooner than ours, which as a parent, was a stroke of genius. The staff were great - friendly and efficient. Marina was our waitress, and despite being on day 2, was clearly a pro. Very professional and welcoming. Highly recommended; especially if you have kids/toddlers. They have tue relaxed dining experience down to a tee. Thanks team Farmhouse.

Very welcoming and great service We had been recommended to this venue for brunch and we were not disappointed. Everything was piping hot and very nicely presented too

The service was great and the interior was stunning but I felt quite short changed on the Ingredients. I had the American breakfast. The vegetarian sausages were the cheap kind and a bit flavourless. The pancakes didn’t taste fresh, they tasted more like cheap ready made scotch pancakes from the supermarket. At that price point it was a bit surprising.

I went here for some brunch last week - the food was average given the wait time. The staff were trying their best given how slow the kitchen clearly was. The blonde Irish woman was nattering the servers and it made for an awkward environment to eat in, really unpleasant. It’s a place you want to try from Instagram but in reality a huge let down!

Absolutely shocking. Waited nearly an hour for poached eggs and a full English, it arrived cold and burnt. The eggs looked gone off and tasted just as bad. Very very disappointed.

What a ridiculous wait time for a toasted muffin and poached eggs and it wasn’t even busy. I also didn’t order an entire bucket load of bad attitude from the guy in the grey shirt, but that’s the only thing that was delivered in a timely manner and consistently. Yes, I am fully aware how long it takes to poach an egg and it’s not over an hour thanks. Great in Harrogate, the absolute pits in Leeds. Probably some of the worst service I’ve ever received, coupled with absolutely the worst crappy attitude I’ve experienced outside a motorway service station.

Great for a date lunch/dinner. Service is fast and you get exactly what you pay for. Staff is very welcoming and friendly as well.

Best brunch we’ve ever had and we love a brunch. I had the American pancakes and my husband had the Eton mess pancakes (special for pancake week) and he said it was amazing! Food came out at a very reasonable time and service was fabulous. Bowie (really sorry if spelt wrong) was awesome and they had a really lovely demeanour. All round fab experience thank you

Really poor, wouldn't go back. Not worth the semi hype its had on socials. Service shocking, food took 50 mins for 2 breakfasts and they were mediocre at best, heard other tables saying how long they had been waiting too. Crumpets tough, food luke warm, coffee grim. The restaurant is cramped, albeit a nice design. Had to ask for more drinks and bill. Staff just seemed to stand around a desk in the middle. Woman on door really rude to waiting people as we were leaving, I was embarrassed hearing her. Overall, far better places for far better food and service.

wonderful breakfast. the service was very nice and friendly, fast service, the coffee was a dream, but the food stole my heart, I tried several items and they all exceeded my expectations, something wonderful, a very large portion and every bite was amazing, served on a plate, it was absolutely delightful, something amazing, congratulations

Great venue. Food was lovely. Staff friendly and not overbearing. Decent prices. Would happily go again. The all day breakfast menu is brilliant.

Breakfast is my favourite!! I frequently visit ‘The Ivy’ and ‘If’ which are both very good in different ways. This place topped the others! It started and the welcome we had, the staff are smiley and happy which instantly gives you a good feeling. On the menu there’s something for everyone, sweet and savory. I had the French toast with bananas omg it was amazing. Coffee was nice too and made just as I like it ( I’m fussy about coffee). It’s definitely doing to be one of my regulars especially as the breakfast menu is all day!! 10/10

Second visit - just as good as the first. Would recommend booking if wanting a slot for breakfast/brunch. Nice welcome - good service. Good coffee. Even better smoothies. Generous portions on the breakfast options. Attentive service

I was really excited to try Farmhouse, but I arrived with my friend at 8:10 to which the doors were still locked, someone finally came to the door and unlocked it but didn’t greet us or hold the door open. Once we entered it straight away felt really unwelcoming. The waitress came over and took our order and when I asked for a substitute on my plate her response was “absolutely not”. The food was good, however the service really let this place down. My friend proceeded to ask for more sugar at one point and with us being the only people in at this time, we assumed she would hear us but we were ignored. The tea was like water and overall wouldn’t recommend purely on my experience with service.

Disappointing compared to our usual brunch spots in Leeds. Presentation messy, too much sauce slopped allover the benedict/beans slopped allover full english, food average. Wouldnt rush back.

Such amazing service here. The host that greeted me was friendly and so sweet but professional. My food and drink came quickly and I had multiple members of staff do a check in once my food had arrived. All this with a fully packed restaurant and I didn’t have to wait a minute to be seated. Thank you to Freya for making my experience so wonderful!

Came upon this by chance as we live in Manchester and were visiting Leeds for the theatre. What a brilliant find! Absolutely superb. Great service. Friendly staff. The food was delicious! Only sorry we don’t live nearer.

I was excited to try Farmhouse after hearing good things about it but was left a bit underwhelmed. The food took over half an hour to arrive after ordering (I would have understood if we'd ordered more than two dishes). We ordered the blueberry and banana pancakes and a portion of the cinnamon French toast. Not the best in terms of presentation or flavour but maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. The hot chocolate was lovely and decently sized. The restaurant itself is a bit cramped and noisy but staff were attentive without being too intrusive. Overall, not the best brunch ever but not the worst either.

This is such a cute yet quirky place. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I had a full English breakfast which was delicious and super filling. I would definitely go back if I'm ever back in the area.

Simply amazing. This is a popular venue. We had pre-booked, which I would recommend to avoid disappointment. The staff are very efficient, especially given how busy it was. They are also warm and friendly. The food came promptly even though it was lunchtime and busy. The food is very tasty and good size portions. An all round wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

Absolute gem of a place. Friendly staff. Food was amazing. Had the Mediterranean breakfast. Hubby had full English breakfast. Both plates of food were very well presented and plenty of it. Well worth a visit

Very disappointed with the service. We were there for my sons 40th. They ran out of chicken burgers, got my little grandson's order wrong. We waited an hour, food was cold and drinks too. Finally, when the food came, my order was forgotten so had to wait another 15mins to get it. Not a very good experience at all!
