The best restaurants serving Other international-cuisines food in South East

They meant it when they said authentic

We went as a special date night treat - our first since having a baby. The staff were very lovely. I felt the food tried really hard to be something it wasn't. We had the tasting menu but some courses were slightly underwhelming, underseasoned or unbalanced. A shame as I feel the effort was there but needs a bit more experience to be better executed. Prosecco had a dead bug in it but this was promptly replaced. The most disappointing thing about the experience was that the owner/co-owner was there with his two kids. There was only one other table dining apart from us. He made an absolute show about how he was the owner and was actively berating the young staff member in front of us. Whether this was because of bravado or some such I have no idea but it was SO cringe to witness and absolutely ruined our dinner. This is not how you behave in public, and definitely not if you're the owner. For that reason (and not the food) I will not be returning.

I really wanted to like it, but it was average at best So many bone splinters and fragments in my jerk chicken. Rice is just rice. Actual taste itself was nice. Excessive use of the microwave. You could hear it pinging constantly. I just won’t order again. It’s not the place you’d go back too. If your black British and grew up eating it you might like it. I doubt many white folk would order again. Not exceptional enough

I have recently moved to Bognor and am looking for a new watering hole. I have passed this bar several times, but don’t like going in on my own. So.. when some friends were visiting we went for early evening cocktails. (They do a 2 for £10 offer weekdays. But only 2-6pm.) We had got the time wrong and turned up 30 mins late. We kindly asked if we could have the special deal but were given a resounding NO! The place was virtually empty and we were looking for something a bit more friendly and welcoming. (Which we found just around the corner – see my other review.) I think it is a bit short sighted of the manager as we spent £50 in an hour nearby.. Don’t think I will bother going back again.

After a hellish experience at Bayside Cafe, we decided to try Pebbles. We went at lunch time, it was a lovely day so sat outside. A waitress took our order promptly and when our food arrived it was delicious. Will definitely go again

Great genuine service, lovely food and nice drinks. The only thing letting this place down was the smell of urine around where we sat and in the loo.

The worse meal I have ever had from here. The ribs tasted foul, like it’s been in fridge for days. The stake was also foul. Calamari was soggy and cold. Chips were hard like it’s been cooked to death.

Nice old pub.. bit pricy for the rooms...

Been trying to find a good carribean since moving out of London and haven't found one until I ordered from here. Got it as takeaway, it was all so fresh, massive portions and amazing flavours. One of the best take aways I have had In ages will definitely order again

Made an order for delivery by Just Eat, food didnt arrive, we called the restaurant, they were rude. Called Just Eat they were rude, no refund was recevied therefore not using either one going forward

Had a lovely lunch right on the beach. Food was tasty and reasonable too! Good veggie and vegan options . When the weather is good, it's the perfect spot!

We had a lovely evening with friends watching 2 football games. Great snacks and drinks. Plenty of seating areas and worth to visit .

Fabulosa comida, ubicación y personal. Tuvimos que modificar nuestra reserva varias veces debido a problemas de viaje, el personal era muy servicial y servicial. Como vegetariano, honestamente puedo decir que la moussaka de lentejas fue el mejor plato que he comido. Los postres estaban muy bien presentados y absolutamente deliciosos. Para las críticas que dicen que los precios son caros, yo preguntaría en comparación con qué? Hermosa comida, ubicación y personal profesional, no vienen con un presupuesto de Wetherspoon! Pensamos que todo tenía un precio justo para un restaurante, sin mencionar en Oxford. El personal era atento pero, no dominante, divertido y eficiente. Joe muy amablemente nos dejó ver la carpa como un lugar potencial para una boda familiar. Puedo imaginar bodas aquí se llevan muy bien y qué paisaje para los invitados a disfrutar. El personal es realmente encantador aquí. No podemos esperar a visitar a la familia en Oxford de nuevo, solo para regresar para otra cena. No es la mejor foto porque, estaba demasiado decidido a disfrutar de ella, antes de que se me ocurriera burlarme de mi hija con una foto de mi postre! Gracias por una noche encantadora.
