We were told the room was not big but it was too small and so was the bed . It’s in the old part in the loft with sloping ceiling and the “ bathroom “ is a cupboard. As pilgrims ( on the PW) we are used to rustic but this was grim not a happy room . Staff lovely great breakfast.

We had a family lunch, not having been here before, and absolutely loved everything about this bright, cheerful, clean and welcoming place, with amazing views over the Marina. Seriously clever, innovative menu and wine list, all the dishes that we chose, some shared, were delicious, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented, well done the kitchen team. Special mention for our two lovely helpers, Sharon and Sage, for being such happy and fun company, not fazed at all by our constant questions! Thank you so much, we will definitely come back again soon. Sending all best wishes and thanks again for making our lunch such a memorable experience. Chris, Medina and Antonia. :-)

The café now opens on a more regular basis when the weather is good. The vegan fish & chips (banana blossom) was the best anywhere but has not been popular. The food, cakes and vegan sausage roll is different to others they are lovely and the messiest to eat ones are very popular. You can visit from West St. Leonards Rail station or cycle from Ore Hastings, Bex Hill the cycle route is lovely and this is a perfect stop off. The bathing hut café is the most calming place, and it hosts other food pop-ups sometimes. I usually bring my own mug, pictured and the toasted sandwich was when Plant the Seed ran a pop-up.

Without doubt the best Jamaican cuisine in the Northwest. I should know I have tried them all! Service is usually quite quick and portion sizes are very generous. I would definitely recommend curry goat, rice and peas, steamed veg and plantain. Or if you fancy something different try the oxtail and hard food. You will not be disappointed.

Really disappointed in my order. After reading the description of their Mac n cheese which states they pride themselves on how rich and creamy it is, I was expecting good things. Instead I got one dry burnt layer of overcooked Mac at the bottom of a dish (see photo). Festivals also rock solid (see photo). Curry goat was okay and spicy, a bit bland flavour wise and literally one tiny potato and 2 slices of carrot in it so not very filling. Wings were nice.

This is my favourite brunch place in London. The food is phenomenal and has a great ethos behind it - seasonal, sustainable, joyful... A couple of dishes on the menu change regularly because of this so there's always something new to try which eeps me going back. A treat each time to visit and share with loved ones. Book in advance if you can (for a weekend at least), as this place is very popular. Getting a dish each would cost about £15-20 per person, and with drinks/desert would push it up to £20-£30 per person. Thank you Brunswick East team and especially your incredible chefs!

I always enjoy eating at Cosmo. Food is plentiful and delicious with plenty of cuisines to choose from (Indian, Thai, Japanese etc) Starters, salads and desserts. A generous choice of a variety of different foods. I can understand why this so popular. Unlimited soft drinks too. The only thing, and I am sorry to have to add this, but feel it is important. I went to get my dessert at the fruit counter and there were 2 young children (boys). They were putting fruit on a stick, one of them was putting grapes on a stick and after a minute, he took the grapes off with his bare hands and threw them back into the grape bowl, I didn’t touch the grapes after seeing this because of hygiene and it was very off putting, I think small children should be supervised by at least one of their parents or an adult, whilst they approach and help themselves with food. Perhaps, just a thought. Maybe you could put a sign up encouraging family members to not leave their young children unattended at a counter?

Our lunch at the Giraffe was a totally enjoyable experience. We were greeted at the entrance by the Host, Emily, who showed us to an ideal table and advised us about the menu. My wife, who has to be careful about what she eats, was very impressed when she was shown a list on a tablet of the possible allergies she has to be careful of. Then when Dasha, the Server, came to the table it was clear that she had been fully briefed on these cautions. The food, which was served in 10 minutes, was absolutely delightful. I can highly recommend the Pork Chops; relatively expensive but worth every penny.

Walking up 12th street we noticed MK buffet Village 😋. During the day we read the reviews and decided we'd give it a try. This is our 1st visit to MK. Back at the hotel we made a reservation, not that we needed to. I imagine it gets really busy at weekends. The food stations are all next to each other. My husband and I had 2 plates of a mixture of food offered. All was enjoyable and delicious 😋. We followed this with a mix of desserts. OMG lemon cheesecake was delicious. The service we experienced was excellent 👌. My husband left his gloves behind and the young man went to collect then quickly for my husband. We loved it and found everything very clean. We would visit again no hesitation! Well done MK buffet Village 😁
