I have recently moved to Bognor and am looking for a new watering hole. I have passed this bar several times, but don’t like going in on my own. So.. when some friends were visiting we went for early evening cocktails. (They do a 2 for £10 offer weekdays. But only 2-6pm.) We had got the time wrong and turned up 30 mins late. We kindly asked if we could have the special deal but were given a resounding NO! The place was virtually empty and we were looking for something a bit more friendly and welcoming. (Which we found just around the corner – see my other review.) I think it is a bit short sighted of the manager as we spent £50 in an hour nearby.. Don’t think I will bother going back again.

Love the vibe and atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and the food is worth every penny. Can’t believe how many brands of rum there are available and the cocktails are lovely, especially when it’s 2-4-1 time. Will definitely be going back again, especially on a weekend night when they have bands and DJ’s.

What a great find, me and my friends were in Bognor for the Southport weekender at butlins and looking for a place to eat with a good vibe and boy did we find it here. Good cocktails, good food (had curried goat and jerk chicken) and good live music. We danced we drunk and we were merry. Worth a visit 👍🏻

A great little restaurant and bar which is well worth a visit if you're nearby. The Jamaican theme is the heartbeat of the venue. The drinks, the food, and the music are all very authentic but the vibe of the place sets it out on it's own. There's nowhere like it nearby so it is unique. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming so just immerse yourself in the music and drinks. You can dance if you want, or just sit and listen to the tunes and sing. It is small and cosy, but thats what makes the place. All the staff work tirelessly so that theres no long queues at the bar, and a short wait for the food. Both are authentic and of a high standard. There's no watered down cocktails so pace yourself!!

I and a group of friends went to Suga'Kane last night for a meal. This place is delightful serving authentic Jamaican food. The host and staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our evening brilliant! They pride themselves on their cocktails and I am assured they are delicious 😋. This is a gem of a place. The mood is laid back and often, at the weekend, live Soul and Reggae completes the great atmosphere. Thanks Karen, we'll be back !

This was hands down the worst fish and chips experience of my life. I ordered the cod and chips—big mistake. The chips were like cardboard, dry and tasteless. The fish was soggy, undercooked, and drenched in oil that completely overpowered any flavor the fish might have had. It was honestly gross. To top it off, the service was just as bad. The staff had a serious attitude, and one of them even rolled her eyes while taking our order. £30 for 2 meals, don't waste your money here.
