Lovely little place to have a break

Not the bestweather to experience so not best review not their fault⁹

Bland basic food served by miserable staff, nice location and plenty of parking though

It may well be shut in the winter

Lovely sausage rolls just filled a corner 😋

Lovely burger and a few bikes to see what more can you ask for

If you like cold coffee this is the place to come yuck

This is a lovely cafe to have a refreshment after a good woodland walk. Parking is free. Weekends alot of amazing motorbikers

Nice handy little place stopped here on a nice early run. Food was good and quite decently priced. Will definitely stop here again for the pitstop.

Best bugers in the South. Honestly I can't fault the food, staff or anything else. The food is always fresh cooked and piping hot. Been today 26th July 24, once again gorgeous. There's lovely cakes and always a fabulous array of goodies. The staff are so lovely even when they're busy. It's my favourite place eat, stuff the fast food place's it's here everytime for me. Just been again 17th Nov 24 and still as lovely as it was.

I really enjoyed the ride down to this pit stop. The food was very basic and the staff was overwhelming with the amount of riders there on the day.

Handy and popular biker cafe stop, gets busy with fair weather riders etc over the weekend. Decent brew and snacks available. Car park free (still) for bikers, although charges for cars apply.

I fly Quadrocopter here after business hours. Large, open and quiet. No pesky dogs around, perfect.

Huge parking & eating area with this small but well stocked cafe. Service was excellent. Son & mum just packing away for day but had last of hot bakery food & coffees & chatted away about holidays. So friendly & toilets spotless clean.

Been visiting since my 20's, now 60 and still love visiting. I now live just down road. Looking foreward to next summer try get more rides in as health is becoming big issue. Thankyou all staff for you're hard work, much appreciated Thanks Les

Great cafe much needed after a long walk. Prices are reasonable and seating is available too.

A wonderful safe adventurous dog and children place of woodland wonderment. One of the best views in Britain close to the South Downs way

Walking here is ok , just make sure you don’t have an accident or stay longer than the car park allows because they lock you in with no way of contacting them ! And no way for an emergency vehicle to get in should it be needed— and no emergency number (because the one there is half rubbed out !)Apparently the car park is owned by Arundel Estates !🤷🏻‍♀️

Large car park, loads of spaces for bikes, decent menu and reasonably priced. Plenty of outdoor seating and tables.

Bit of a Dive....can't even be bothered to make you tea you do it yourself and the Burger rolls are so cheap and cheerful they are like eating dough ! Coffee is apparently foul too ( according to the missus) it's not exactly cheap either.

Best place for a ride out. Got to see all kinds of motorcycles and some exotics as well. Great atmosphere nestled in the countryside.

This cafe is popular with the biker community. Big carpark. Shame about the litter. No one seems to clear the rubbish away rubbish under ever table. Shame

We just had ice cream, after walking pup's through the woods. Mainly a bikers area at the cafe, car's belonging to dog owners. Kiosk toilets seating area. Gates Close at 4pm. Beware. For dog owners who like to explore the woods, this is a good place for that.

If you are a biker then definitely come here, you'll find all your biker mates here! If you're not a biker then there's plenty of very cool bikes to see...

Great biker cafe location. Food is what you'd expect from biker cafe. Great place to meet other bikers. Though the police do spend a lot of time here and throw a great deal of resources and money at hunting down bikers. Pity they dont anything about bike thieves or criminals.

I've been in cars and bikes. Some times are bike heavy, but not like they're getting up to mischief and always spaces on the RHS for cars 👍

Super café (welcoming to us bikers ☺️) up on the south downs. Lovely spot.

I felt the food and drink was a little overpriced and I was disappointed by my bacon bap which had only two rashers of bacon in it. But excellent location for walking or looking at bikes.

Nice selection of locally made cakes. Haven't tried the food menu so I cant comment on that but unfortunately the coffee is dire. The decaff. tastes like a low quality instant and the normal coffee is basically tasteless, just brown water. I get so disappointed with poor quality coffee hence the 3 stars. This was our third visit on the bikes to Whiteways. We probably wont bother trying them again. The young chap that runs the place is lovely and has a positive attitude. There was few too many lads and lasses trying to do wheelies in the carpark for our liking hence the 3 stars for atmosphere.

Blimey I feel like the odd one out based on recent reviews. Stopped for a leg stretch, brew and a snack. Awful cappuccino, my sausage roll had obviously spent all day at the back of the shelf and was so crisp, most of the pastry ended up on the floor. Maybe my opinion wasn't helped by the rain and hardly anyone else being there.

Given food a 3 cos i only had a drink. £1.50 for large filtered black coffee - excellent value. Mid week visit but still a good assortment of bikes there. Just need to plan a more interesting route there from east sussex.

I've been coming to this parking area for many years and it's both somewhere to take a break or a nap when en route to the West Country via the coast route plus get a bite to eat from a very busy little cafe with ajoining toilets 🚻 it's always been popular with the biking set as the roads around it are great for testing their skills and there are some of the most stunning views of the South Downs you are likely to find. I believe there are extensive walks in the woods that surround the car park as well though I have never checked that out myself. 11th of April 2024 We decided to visit there early this morning and arrived to find that there was a gate stopping us from entering the car park which was an unpleasant surprise and I've never seen before but I find it hard to believe that it's been totally closed but I intend to visit it regularly for a while and try and find out what is going on. I really hope it is just maybe temporarily closed or maybe it's been shut at night because of maybe anti social behaviour problems which is such a shame if that's the case

Lovely people that run the cafe. Lots of lovely walks for children and dogs, also for the adults. If you are into motorbikes you will find old and young here, and that's not just the bikes😅

Great place and lovely staff, but it takes half an hour in a queue just to get a coffee. It needs a few youngsters to help the staff, and the side window opened up as an extra serving hatch. Very enjoyable social meet.

Visited for the first time on Sunday as my boyfriend is bike mad, and I wanted to surprise him. Really friendly warm service. Delicious hot food, drinks and cake at very reasonable prices. Great atmosphere with all the bikers turning up, and lovely, easily accessible dog walking at the site too.

Food is rough at best burger tasted of latd so fatty. The lady serving is rude and quite aggresive. But great biker community. Sadly cheap food a little expensive prices

7 mile walk from Bury Hill,across Houghton Forest, to Bignor Hill I've always been fascinated by the massive aerials,and I can't resit visiting them. Then back along South Downs way,to Whiteways,hot dog and steaming Mocha. Perfect morning

Great venue for stop off, or break from driving with lovely dog walks, and lovely food, its ideally located for top off, and grab a coffee and something to eat, for workers or socially

Great little place as a stop off, plenty of parking and walking locally. Snacks and takeaway food to be had at a good price, lots of seating(outside). Summers are good if you like your motorbikes, lots of meets etc. would recommend even for a quick brew.

Always a good place to stop when out and about. Burgers are much better then loomies 😅

It very much depends who serves you. I won't say anymore than that, if you've been there you know what I mean. As for the area I only visit at the weekend with all the other bikers. The atmosphere is good and I enjoy looking and talking to people.

UPDATE 26/0923 Visited today and the Rogue private car park camera that was set up and left to a Rogue Private Car Park Firm is now gone. Hopefully the Private Car Park Firm has gone for good as they are not welcomed. You can now drive into the car park. .................................. I love this place, however it's been ruined now. Why you ask. A private cowboy car park operator has taken over. I believe the land has been sold of by the local authority & there are new owners. I am all for managing car parks if they are managed properly. When you employ an unregulated private car park firm you know that they are only there to make money & to rip of the public by their fake invoices, then their fake debt collectors if you don't pay. 1 star to the cowboys but 5 stars to the staff who are amazing and do a great job in the cafe. If you ride a bike like I do, you are fine. If you drive a vehicle, best to park outside. You are paying the landowner for the privilege. Just does not seem right.

Nice spot to take a break on a long journey or even a destination point for walking the dog. Nice friendly service, tea coffee etc on offer as well as light bites. Plenty of picnic tables and benches to sit at while eating.
