Always willing to accommodate my fussy taste. Been going for a few years always friendly and polite, food amazing. My only complaint is wish they were closer.

Woody's has been around for some time now & it has definitely earned its place amongst one of my favourites. What you would expect from a family run business, home cooked food with a variety of flavours. My personal favourite is the Lamb Chops but as of recent I've been enjoying the Crispy Chicken & Rice (Number 5). I've always felt welcomed as if it were into someone else's home. Service has never fallen short of perfect & these truly are great people to get to know. I'd also recommend the Lamb Burger.

We normally placed collection order, but today we have it delivered. The driver dishonestly, it was 24.50, and he says the order is 25.00. Foods tasteless, and also sent wrong dish.very disappointed!

Lovely pad thai, friendly service.

Literally never had such disgusting chicken anywhere before. It was MEANT to be Fried chicken. I have never had Fried chicken from a carribean shop, drowning in sweet and sour sauce or sweet chilli whatever it was couldn't tell. I actually had to throw it away.......

My family has been in the Thai restaurant industry in Reading since 1996 and I must say these guys who run this fine establishment work hard and the food is very tasty.

Great Pad Thai and an even more incredible Masaman curry. Almost like being in Thailand!

This was my first time trying woodys grills and I was amazed by the quality and the flavour of the food. Highly recommend to anyone that has had Thai or wants to try it for the first time. Delivery was fast and driver was very polite.

The peri chicken is the best......good quality food...Pad Thai is spot on...Great place

I miss the great chinese take away that used to be here a year or so ago. Never been tempted to go in. Tbh the menu just confuses me & the vibes give me the ick..

Food was served and my son found metal spikes in his meal. Absolutely shocked. Got a refund and left. The old Thai woman basically said she knew she was cooking the food in a frying basket that was falling apart. So basically knew she was serving dangerous food. Avoid like the plague.

Love their Thai curries and grill. There are very few halal thai restaurants in Reading so its a great blessing

The chicken is not up to scratch... I would not return here

I always order the lamb chops and it is always good, clean fresh food. Honestly hands down the best takeaway for lamp chops burgers wings everything... Woody is a lovely man and the lady who takes your order is always polite. I can’t fault them at all!

Best food in town full stop! Eat here every other day and it is the go spot, any local will point you to woodys grill if you ask where is good to grab a bite, warming staff also, chef talks to all his customers to make sure they are satisfied :)

Been to Woodys a good few times now after hearing great reviews from friends. Have been to Thailand many many times this is some of the best Authentic Thai food in Reading. Spicy, fresh and yummy. Pad Kra Pao is simply awesome.

I just had chicken wings and I can tell you from my experience. Chicken wings aren't fresh at all it looks like they have been sitting in fridge for many days, kitchen is so dirty you can see spider webs on the sealing and it's smelly it's actually stink.

Mi esposa y yo recientemente pedimos comida para llevar, pasteles de pescado tailandeses, sopa tom yum, pollo al curry verde, pollo al curry rojo y gambas cocinadas con especias secas. ! ! Los pasteles de pescado eran aceptables, pero ninguno de los otros platos. Había una copiosa cantidad innecesaria de aceite tanto en el curry rojo como en el verde. Ambos fueron diluidos hasta un punto de mal gusto. La cantidad de pollo en ambos ascendió a una cucharada en cada uno. Las verduras de ambos estaban cocidas hasta el punto de ser tan blandas y blandas que aumentaron la decepción. El plato de gambas era en realidad con salsa de curry y no se acercaba a la descripción del menú y nuevamente le faltaba sabor. El tom yum estaba tan diluido y sin sabor. Lamentablemente, después de unos pocos bocados, decidimos deshacernos del lote, excepto por las tortas de pescado. Ser un entusiasta y alguien que viene de esa parte del mundo y que disfruta cocinando una cocina internacional. . . Me sentí muy decepcionado. No es auténtico en absoluto. Precio de los platos en el lado alto y no justifica el corte de esquinas de su comida. Aunque los chefs son tailandeses, es triste que no representen el "verdadero" sabor de Tailandia.

We have had three rake-outs from Woody’s over several months. The first was brilliant, the other two were not nice, even though we ordered the same things. The difference seems to be in the way they were cooked or else they were just left on the counter to go soggy, since some of the items were barely warm. The ‘crispy’ things were soggy and the pad Thai was heavy and sticky, suffering from too many noodles and not enough bean sprouts which would have moistened and lightened it. We are disappointed since there seems to be no other Thai restaurant within hailing distance.

Not only are they lovely people this is hands down the best takeaway out there. Handmade burgers, lambs chops to die for and literally everything I've ever tried including the Thai range is worth every penny.

Amazing Thai Food and Grill. My favourite local takeaway. Service is fast and friendly. Definitely would recommend any of the Thai meal boxes. If you've not tried Woody's before I thoroughly recommend giving it a try

Really good flavours. The medium hot chicken was a bit too spicy ,but lovely, so ate the lot. Fresh veg as well. Def going to try more of the menu.

La comida aquí es encantadora. Auténtica cocina tailandesa, hamburguesas caseras de cordero y ternera. El pollo está todo a la parrilla. Mi favorito son las chuletas de cordero a la parrilla, que tienes simple o picante. . . . ¡son sorprendentes! Una vez que hayas probado la comida, te garantizo que volverás. Es un negocio familiar y todos son amigables. Este es un lugar de visita obligada!

Fantastic food. The Lamb chops are awesome. All the food is good. The staff are really friendly. I would recommend Woody's Grill to everyone.

Haven't tried all items but my favourite place for spicy lamb chops, duck stir fry and red curry.

Su comida tailandesa es absolutamente increíble (sin descontar su hamburguesa, etc., simplemente nunca la pedimos) y seguimos regresando por más. Probé el Kung Manow por primera vez la última orden y quedé impresionado; INCREÍBLE y esa será una orden permanente en el futuro. La comida es fresca, auténtica y muy, muy sabrosa. El mejor tailandés, pruébalo! He ordenado a Woody's en muchas ocasiones y nunca tuve un problema, aparte de una entrega confusa una vez. Fueron rápidos para contestar el teléfono y rectificar el problema, todo mientras eran muy educados y se disculparon. Maravilloso servicio!

I've been wanting to try Woody's for a long time. The menu on the internet looks great. What a disappointment it was. I ordered Ped Ma kham. My first choice I was told wasn't available as they hadn't any. I paid £13.95 for a dish that should have contained roast duck tamarind sauce and crispy shallots. What I received was roast duck in tamarind sauce on shredded lettuce. No crispy shallots. For £13.95 I got one small container 6" by 4",roughly. THIRTEEN plus pounds for that. Rubbish. Woody you're a rip off! I wish I went to the Chinese restaurant next door. For that money I would have got better food at a better price.

Stupidly overpriced and even the law has changed for chargeing customer's for useing cards This place still expects customers to pay card fees on top if their high prices . i can truely see this place closing down soon .

*deduct a star as forced to add one. Unfortunately I have to give Woodys Grill one star as Google reviews has no minus star option option. We used this take away about a year ago on a daily basis and the food was always fresh with great flavours... fast forward to October 31st 2018 and under new ownership the food went straight in the bin, this despite explaining exactly what we wanted on the order. The fresh egg noodles were anything but, the chicken was non existent and the Masamam Gak was more like Masamam Cack! It was watery with no flavour with fatty under cooked lamb. It’s a shame really considering we get lunch for our workforce of 20 on a daily basis ... Woodys grill 🤔 more like Woodys RoadKill Zero stars.

They offer peri peri chicken, authentic Thai and fish and chips. They do all three very well but I recommend the Thai food. All very fresh ingredients. Very popular locally, lots of regulars eat here. Independent and family run business. They are a very friendly - I wish more fast food places were up to this standard. Parking is available nearby.

Excellent quality food and friendly service. We love their Thai Princess Rice and their curries. Amazing flavours time and time again!

Been ordering grilled chicken with chips and cannot get enough of it. Absolutely lovely ! Recently tried also some of the thai food and fell in love with PaNang curry and Pad Thai. Highly recommended place to get superb food ! And not to forget, best service in town by far 👍😀

Amazing, always friendly staff that are willing to go out of their way to make the food to the spiciness I want. Added bonus is everything is halal.
