Our server Marta was exceptional in her customer service, made the experience very welcoming, and jovial. Nothing was too much trouble even when one of our group knocked over her drink. Wonderful food and great cocktails all the staff we interacted with were lovely.

Dionne and Tegann where amazing. They looked after us really well and made our Las iguanas experience one to remember. 10/10 for customer service and bants

Very good service by IONUT and we were made to feel very welcome by the charming lady who took us to our seats. Good food, quick delivery and reasonable prices. Just what you want for a pre entertainment meal. A little cold inside and a draught from the door and the toilets are smelly but otherwise, good.

Maybe it was a a bad night but it was my first time at this venue and as a couple we were positioned in a corner near a fire exit away from the main atmosphere so can’t comment on the experience of this. The food felt like you are in a chain and presented and served as if the food was sat on the hot plate plate to long. On a positive the sauces on the table improved the dish. All in all I ain’t rush back but perhaps my pallet is expecting to much.

I took my wife on a date night and went here, got a table quickly without reservations. Drinks were a bit pricey but that's understandable. Food was amazing. My wife could not stop talking about it all night and I'm sure we will be back here in the next few weeks. Excellent in every way and fair price. 2 cocktails, bottle beer, and 2 mealsn£51 any take away that's just OK would cost you 30 to 40 pounds so this is very reasonable. Well done.

The service I received was really bad, staff is really unprofessional and unconsiderate. My boyfriend and I made a booking for our 1 year anniversary, which we let the staff know. They sat us in at a busy spot, surrounded by 2 big loud groups and on a table for 4, very unromantic as there were table for 2 they didnt want us to sit on even tho we asked for one in the booking! We could barely hear ourselves talk and it was really inconsiderate of the staff to sit us there when the restaurant wasnt that busy. It took them 15-20 min to come pick our order, we only ordered 1 round of drinks and starters. The server took our menus away, served us then never came in to check in on us. About 20 minutes after finishing both drinks and starters we never got checked in or asked if we would want drinks refilled. NOTHING. We didnt even get to order mains or dessert. We got fed up of being ignored, paid and left. Our night was nearly ruined by their bad service, we spent the rest of out anniversary at a bar across the river where we had better service than at this restaurant. Never coming again.

Me and my son had a very delicious lunch, served by amazing and lovely Ane. For sure we will come back!

We booked the Bottomless Brunch and we felt it was well worth the money as the speed of the drinks coming to us was good. Summer served us (believe she is one of the managers) she was friendly, polite and attentive.

We went to have a quiet meal to celebrate a birthday. Starting with the nachos grande, this was a travesty. For such a large portion of chips, five rings of jalapeño pepper was taking the mickey. For £12.00 I expected more than a dollop of guacamole/cream cheese and a sprinkle of microwaved cheese. I would have got better value at the local cinema and I consider them to be overpriced. The caruru curry was nothing more than boiled chicken ( I could not detect any evidence of pan frying as advertised) in a watered down chip shop curry sauce into which some careless lacky had dropped a small bucket of powdered white pepper. The red chillies appeared to have been dropped on as an afterthought. They would be better had they actually been cooked into the sauce but hey ho you don’t seem to be able to get the staff these days. The accompanying spring onion rice was plain boiled rice. The spring onion, all 1 cm total, was sprinkled over the curry, not the rice. If you call something spring onion rice, I would expect it to be cooked with rice and spring onion. In your establishment it seems this is not the case. One visit is enough for me to realise that your standard of cooking is not good. You will be pleased to know I won’t be visiting Las Iguanas again any time soon. Shame, you have such promise but aren’t able to live up to it.

This was my first visit, Aneline was a Fantastic waitress and very helpful. Food was very tasty and service was top notch! Definitely recommend and I’ll be back for more!

Sadly the food didn't live up to the hype. I know it was only lunch time beef chilli but it really didn't have any depth And honestly could have been a spicy soup. If I ever return I'll try something else. Server was lovely mocktail was very acceptable.

We ordered las iguanas with Uber eats. Delivery was an hour late which left our food cold which we had to heat up. The system was poorly thought out in terms of how it was packaged and transported. Leaving the food merely inedible. We then had to eat very late because of this which shouldn’t be the case with people with diabetes. We were missing lots of items and the food was not labelled with what dish it was. It was a real shame for a birthday meal and the extensive money spent. What a waste! WILL NOT BE DOING THIS AGAIN. Compensation would be greatly appreciated at the least.

I visited Las Iguanas last night (Friday at 8pm) for bottomless brunch, fully expecting it to be quite busy. We were seated, and within 15 minutes, our waitress came to help us. She was a lovely lady (Marta) who kindly explained that due to the busyness, instead of taking individual drink orders, she would just send drinks to our table, working through the menu. This worked well, and we managed to have about 8 cocktails in our 90 minutes. If we had wanted more, we should have chosen a quieter time. Kaycee also served us, and despite being extremely busy, she was amazing—kind, efficient, and still smiling! Both of them are real assets to the team.

We came yesterday for Bottomless Brunch to celebrate our 10th Wedding anniversary. Marta could not have done more for us, the drinks were flowing, she was so attentive and the food was amazing. Thank you to the chefs and bartender too! A+

A Flavorful Lunch at Las Iguanas During our recent visit to Las Iguanas at The Oracle Mall in Reading, we found ourselves in a half-full restaurant during the lunch rush. The vibrant atmosphere set the stage for what we hoped would be a delightful meal. However, it became evident that they were understaffed. Waiting to be seated was a bit of a challenge, and our order seemed to take longer than expected—especially when compared to other diners who had ordered similar fare. We didn’t opt for anything particularly exotic; just a standard selection from their menu. They maintained their consistent standard—the flavours were on point, and we appreciated the familiar taste that matched their other branches. One standout dish was the Brazilian Fried Chicken—it was so good that we couldn’t resist reordering it. Overall, despite the service hiccup, we left satisfied. If Las Iguanas can improve their staffing situation and elevate their service standards, we’d gladly return for another flavourful experience.

I recently visited Las Iguanas – Reading with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience left me disappointed. Upon entering, we were told the restaurant was fully occupied and there were no available seats, so I decided to leave. However, as we were exiting, I noticed two new people walk in, and they were immediately offered a seat. It was frustrating to witness this inconsistency in service, as it made me feel as though my presence was not valued. Every guest should be treated equally, regardless of timing or circumstances. Fair treatment is essential to ensuring a positive experience for everyone. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning, as I believe all customers deserve to be treated with the same respect and consideration.

My friend and I Popped in for a few cocktails and a light lunch today. I just want to say Miriam you’re definitely an asset to the restaurant. You’ve got a lovely energy and made us both smile, will definitely be back soon.
