Great evening at Blazin' Soul, the food as good as ever, and Antoin the perfect host - ngl, had to Shazam a few epic tunes on his playlist. Can't wait for Royal Ascot week... will definitely be popping across!

You simply must come here! The food is absolutely out of this world, the right amount of spice and flavour. Great portion sizes and the chef is lovely to boot! We had the jerk chicken and ox tail and neither of us could decide which was better!

Ordered curry goat, rice & peas, coleslaw and mac & cheese. The curry goat and rice were delicious but the mac & cheese was an unusual taste, maybe sour cream was used in it and it was a bit sweet, the coleslaw was quite dry. But I’ll definitely be back for the curry goat!

What can I say, it was just simply delicious. Fantastic food. Please come down and try it. By way of a polite notice; sometimes the owner is not there due to ill health, hence why it is closed. But please don’t use that against him. Come down and try his food when he is open. Lovely food.

Ordered ackee and saltfish as part of large takeaway order on Saturday 30th September, as soon as I opened container there was an awful overbearing fish smell, being optimistic and a fish dish I tasted 2 mouthfuls and was nearly sick. Must of been frozen / reheated, not edible, do not recommend.

They sent us stale food,. very disappointed.

It’s hard to comment on a place I’m unable to communicate with or get into. Which is frustrating because I’ve heard big big talk about some good good food. But I won’t give up and for now I can still go to my favourite place in Windsor, Fridays in Bracknells princess square.

Best carribean food I've had, Service is consistently good and portions are big, just like the flavour Do yourself a favour and give them a try.

We discovered Blazing by accident . ThIs a lovely intimate restaurant. The service was great! The lady that served served us was very friendly. The food was freshly cooked and tasty. We were shocked when the bill came. We had a salt fish fritter for starter.the main oxtail with rice and peas and plantain. My husband had jerk chicken roti with jerk chicken and plantain. We had soft drinks all for £37. Wow!! This is a bargain!!

Great food in a lovely atmosphere as usual. Staff really helpful in helping me chose what to order, great flavours and generous portions. Will be making a repeat visit.

Delicious food, friendly staff and always a good laugh

This place is horrible i do not reccomend. Last saturday i ordered plantain and dumplings at approximately 4:45pm. Whilst the food was being cooked i saw the young looking chef put his fingers down his bumcrack and sniff them and then continue dealing with the food without washing his hands. The plantain tasted like wet wipes wrapped around in barbed wire. It was a pain to eat and should be a crime to be fed to people. Please do the world a favour and shut this place down or fire the chef. If you want specifics on the chef he looked to be about 5 ft 5, had his hair in braids and is a likkle bit chubby. Please fix up ma yute.

Very disappointing :( We loved this place when it first opened. It used to be best Caribbean food in the area. We have ordered in after a long break and must say we are really disappointed. The jerk chicken was swimming in a greasy sauce and was really dry. Tasted like it was grilled hours ago and then just stewed it the sauce for hours. Rice and beans had a strange aftertaste but wasn't horrible. Ackee and Saltfish tasted nothing like saltfish but was pleasantly spicy. Best part of the order was the dumplings. It's a real shame as it used to be a fabulous place.

Ordered through uber eats portion sizes a amazing, can truly tell this food is made with love and care as every flavour compliments the next I order multiple dishes and was eager to try them all and I was certainly not disappointed with what I received Even the delivery driver was very polite and friendly Highly recommended and will definitely use again

Amazing authentic Jamaican Food 10/10 if you want to experience Jamaica outside of Jamaica head on down to Blazin soul great likkle vibe going on too to get you in a Irie mood for your food , great friendly staff, great service. I ordered jerk chicken, curry goat, plantain, rice and peas. On the plus side, the quantities were quite generous. Taste wise, the curry goat was very bland. I had to salt it to make it more palatable. The jerk chicken was just okay. I was quite disappointed, as this was my first time and I had looked forward to the food based on the good reviews.

5* all the way, fabulous service and then the food, I don’t know where to start.. a rich depth of flavour in the goat curry and the oxtail, with the delicious additions of dumplings and plantain…..simply yum! And to top it all off the Mac n cheese wow 🤩 thank you Blazin Soul team!

Came to have dinner here with friends that drove from Hounslow, it was closed. Online opening times say 5pm-10pm for Sunday's, it is 18:37. Nothing on the door or Instagram as to why. Not impressed

Came yesterday with 2 friends and the vibes were good, the staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious & filling with good prices. Spaces to eat indoors & outdoors. A nice experience and would definitely come again soon.

Delicious food and generous portions!

2nd time at the soul kitchen and the food was authentic and on point like the first time, the new dish of Creole prawn avocado was a great addition to the already good menus. Our group ordered pretty much everything on the menu and left satisfied. Highly recommend this place of you’re looking for proper west Indian food.

A carribbean food place outside of London is unheard of! The food is authentic and beautiful, and the rum punch is *chefs kiss* Very polite and friendly staff, who cared about their business, really happy we found this place we will be back, thank you

A taste of the Caribbean islands! A soul food kitchen that produces fresh Caribbean food with authentic spices and traditions . The portion sizes are very reasonable and so are the prices. If you are looking to taste some real West Indian food, then this is the place for you . Friendly atmosphere, a variety of food to choose from - rice and peas to plantain and jerk chicken. Food is served in a timely fashion by a friendly experienced chef. If you're passing by Ascot, this is one pit stop that needs to be made.

Jerk chicken wasn’t great at all, steamed rice was burnt. Not sure how that’s even possible. Very disappointing.

Ordered Jerk Chicken, and Rice and Peas, 2 x Dumplings, 2 x Plantain. Rice and peas perfect spice and rice nice and fluffy. Jerk Chicken was perfectly spiced again with delicious gravy and tender. Dumplings had a sweet edge and perfectly cooked and the Plantain melted in my mouth. I loved it so much, couldn't share with my wife. Promised her next time she can have some.

The oxtails cooked to perfection

Wanted to try the Goat Curry, I ended up trying almost everthing as it is SO good. Had the oxtail stew, jerk chicken, rice/peas, the mixture of cooked vegs. It was Amazing , and first time I had ever had the Dumplings, they were excellent. Can't wait to try the fish dish and others next time SOON ! Great to have a Carribean rest. In Ascot.

Amazing service. Highly recommend the Ackee & Saltfish- was cooked to perfection, full of flavour. Oxtail was out of this world and the curry goat was divine!

The food here is so delicious we have now ordered 3 weeks in a row because we cant get enough. The portions are very generous and we also have lots to eat the next day. Nothing to fault here, delivery is also fast and the delivery man is very polite and happy also. 100% RECOMMEND.

Just had our 4th take away, and highly recommended the jerk chicken/rice n peas & coleslaw. Really good portions & really friendly staff.

Was really looking forward to trying this being from london and living up here I couldn't believe my eyes! My coleslaw had been forgotten and the dumplings were so dry they literally crumbled in my hands. Plantain was too tough to eat and my roti was so dry it fell apart. The chicken was cooked to perfection. Very good chicken.

I've just the most delicious jerk chicken, salt fish and rice n peas! So so ordering again soon! Thank you x
