Lovely food & service pretty much ordered the whole menu. Singer on who was excellent. Had a lovely time. It’s a shame it wasn’t busier.

We had a large sampling of many types of African and Caribbean dishes. I had curry goat and rice n peas. And a large Nigerian Fanta.

Saw all the rave reviews and thought we'd try Orbis out, not been before. Restaurant looks lovely, nicely greeted by helpful staff and shown our table. Restaurant is a little cramped due to it's size, no big deal. Service overall was pretty slow but polite. Food was a disappointment. Took ages to come out and I get its tapas and thing's come out adhoc but the wait between dishes was too long. We had tacos to start, these were cold, not convinced they were meant to be. Most of our mains came out, at least half were cold (thai mushrooms/truffle fries) but tasted nice, crispy beef was not hot but was chewy and not crispy at all, don't recommend, and after we'd finished our meal the chicken goujons slathered in peanut butter turned up, but atleast was hot. My wife enjoyed her liquid pudding though. Didn't impress for the price.

Food was amazing, flavoursome and cheaper than most other restaurants. Nice for a couples night or group gathering. Hosts were friendly and nice environment. Also noticed they do delivery and collection, so might be a more regular place for us. Xx

We were offered a buffet of finger food in this lovely setting. The restaurant is spacious with lots of seating, plenty of light. Food was lovely and servers were attentive and friendly.

FABULOUS FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST IN LOVELY ITALIAN FAMILY OWNED RESTAURANT! We popped in near opening time (10am) and the place was buzzing - Saturday is market day and there is ample outside eating and drinking space but we opted to stay inside The Italian family who run Dexters are so kind and hospitable and fabulous service and very clean and nicely decorated toilets We opted for the 'BIG' Full English with a pot of tea for two. The sausages were high quality meat (not those cheap ones you sometimes get) lovely thin smoked bacon cooked on the griddle, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside potato cakes, Heinz beans in a pot, fresh hot grilled tomato, fresh fried button mushrooms and two lovely friend eggs topped with freshly cut parsley. Also lots of toast and they bring you red and brown sauce up front so you can tuck right in Highly recommend - worth a visit and there's plenty of car parking at the nearby Co-op on market day or during the week outside the little passage way that takes you to the restaurant.
