Very nice pub in Metheringham but can be noisy with Children at Times

A real down to earth pub with lovely Owners and Staff. We’ve only been over on Sundays for lunch but honestly can’t rate it highly enough. We’ve been numerous times now with family and friends. It’s a bit of a drive for us but we’ll worth it. Proper home cooked roast dinner, it’s fab!

The food here is amazing. We had a beautiful carvery for sunday lunch but have also had steak and pie.

Terrific hospitality, awesome service and the Sunday dinner special was amazing!! Delicious, fresh and an extremely generous helping of all of my favourite foods! Roast beef, pork, ham, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and the cheesiest cauliflower ever. Mmmmm good!

Llamamos a tomar algo y comer algo mientras estábamos en la zona. Este es un típico pub de pueblo / país y nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos. La comida que pedimos estaba recién preparada y todos los miembros de nuestro grupo disfrutaron de la comida.

Myself and my partner have visited on 2 occasions for a Sunday lunch and were not disappointed food was tasty and was always enough left as it is a grab it yourself kinda thing! Would of given 5 stars if the decor was updated a bit more and the gentleman behind the bar was a bit less intimidating 😂

Well, it was OK - but the price was very good. Had the roast ham which was sensational, though the chips were soggy and looked as though they'd been cooked in oil re-used many times. Not nearly the standard we've seen at the Sunday and Wednesday carveries. Sorry, but there we are.

Met with friends for lunch. Butch was worked off his feet with customers so we were a few minutes waiting for a table but we just chatted and had a drink. We've been here several times now and this time was no different as the food was terrific. The quality of the meat is just excellent and the yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and veg are lovely. He really knows how to cook meat and roasts. Big platefuls of food all round, a couple of beers, a good chat - what could be better? Oh - the price - cost us £11 a couple all in. You really should try it if you haven't been, but do book beforehand - he was having to turn non-booked people away.
