The Plough Inn in North Kesteven

We had a 70th birthday party here the food was excellent the service was excellent, Nick and his staff was very focused on all our needs and that everything was in place. We rented 3 of the rooms and once again excellent decorated well bathrooms beautiful. We throughly enjoyed our party and we only have praise for the staff the prices and the food, we made a great choice everyone throughly enjoyed the night. Thankyou to Nick and staff.

Called Sunday lunchtime with Colin and had a couple of drinks, made to feel very welcome and we will return 😀

Great drinkers pub but no food anymore :(

Great little pub, great to see it up and running again!! Went for a karaoke night, ended up being a very late one. Had great fun!!

Wow how affordable, cheerful, family friendly and fun this place is. From 1742 according to the sign. I found it to be great. Beer for £1.50 a pint and that’s Belhaven! Also a special deal where kids can get a soft drink (obviously) and a packet of crisps for £1! We had a single Gordon’s, a Coca Cola, nobbys nuts and some scampi fries and it came in at £6.90! Real nice outside area. A memorial bench to Maz who was apparently the best thing to ever happen to Walcott! There was a charming dining room. And even some saloon doors. A lush corner sofa and you really have to see it believe it. On top of that there were some lovely kids having fun, people on the jukebox and a chocolate cocker spaniel with a fringe! What’s not to love.

Great pub smash ing crowd more than worth a look

Reading the past reviews from a few years ago sounds like this venue is a good visit. Sadly this is no longer the case. The only ombience is the smell which is damp and stale. If you like dated 80's decor this is the place for you. In need of some tlc. In it's favour it is a free house. Prices are about average. Could be made nice. Not for me now though. Cannot comment on food. Did not eat here.

Best thing about a long walk is at the half way point you find a pub. Even better is finding a pub that serves great meals and drinks at prices that are awesome. We had meddalion steaks, chips, peas mushrooms, onion rings and plenty of it at only £7.50. I'm telling you if your not eating here you are losing money.. There are places to sit inside and out and a reasonable parking area..

Cheap grub, old fashioned village pub, fillet steak, home cooked chops £10! Staff are great. Not your fancy smancy place, just honest pub.

My my...great food at a great price! I had the ribeye steak dinner. Very good quality steak, salad, and fries (chips for you UK people I guess). All for about 7 pounds. And...very friendly people to boot. Would definitely go back!

Cheap, cheerful and lovely friendly people.

There was lipstick on my glass and the put is very outdated and smells strange even with the doors open. The bar man essentially the most welcoming and there was a bunch of flys flying around the rooms. I would not recommend this pub to anyone

First visit because of a baby shower across the road. Great pub friendly place.

My local, great pub with very reasonable ale prices. Landlord is the chef and can produce a variety of good value dishes including Sunday roast, including veggie options. Friendly family pub, with regular music nights the last weekend in the month, when a complimentary buffet is put on. During the summer months, a bouncy castle is in hand to keep the kids entertained. All in all a great village pub with a warm welcome for everyone, can't believe someone only gave it a 1* rating! 😮
