Los Burritos in Boston

It was easy to book a table online, an attractive restaurant decorated with a Mexican style, a good selection of meals. I enjoyed my vegetarian burrito, it was a good portion too. The staff were very efficient and my meal arrived quickly.

Had a lovely meal here again last night . The food is delicious and well cooked . The staff are charming and attentive . It's very reasonably priced both for food and drink .

The restaurant doesn't do fancy decor, its clean and simple mexican interior and warm welcome set the scene. The food is freshly prepared and the flavours are simply amazing. I had the fish stew sounds basic but it was a full of flavour and served hot and stayed hot till the very last drop. I was so full but wasn't going to waste a drop. The rest of the family cleaned their plates too. Go now before the chef retires.

Had a comfortable Cafe vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful. The menu was comprehensive and the food and drinks were excellent! Very good value for money. Lovely decor on main wall added the the Mexican inspired restaurant. A bit more Mexican /Latin American music would have added to the overall feeling. Although we didn't mind the chill house music. Wish we lived nearer

A great night. Was buzzing with people but didn't have to wait long for services. Christmas menu was great and drinks were all very good too . Would come Highley recommended by our whole group. Please support our independent restaurants. Keep up the good customer service and great food. Love this place.

Great food. Restaurant was v busy so rated a 4 as it took 20 mins to get a drink and nearly an hour for our starter to arrive. Overall, food was great and we really enjoyed it. Large portions served. Had frijoles and the prawns as starters - prawns v succulent. Order pulled pork burrito and veg tacos … had extra sides roasted veg and rice… served nicely and tasted great - but as mentioned large portions so they wrapped up the bits we didn’t eat and we took them home!

Went as a small family with our 6 month old. Place wasn’t busy at the time of our visit but we were made to few very welcome. The ladies who served us were great and even entertained our little girl whilst we were waiting on food. The food was great, we had garlic prawns and potato bravas for starters and then prawn tacos and enchiladas for main. They were all great. The place started getting busier as we left, thankfully made it through without daughter getting too stressed before bedtime but they made our dinner out a lovely experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Boston.

We visited here during a stay in Boston and were surprised how busy it was midweek. The food was very tasty and service was good. Would definitely return if we were in the area again.

Received a warm welcome and staff were very helpful and accommodating. Food was delicious and good value for money. Everything was home made, reasonably priced and would definitely look forward to our next visit.

We have been here many times over the years all with great food and service but tonight I (am hoping) they were just having an off night - starters were fine but my cocktail tbh tasted like it was made with grapefruit squash not juice, my grandsons burrito was about 85% bland white rice with a few spoonful,s of pulled pork shoved in and my normally absolutely delicious fish stew was a mush of over cooked fish smothered in coriander, rosemary sweet potatoes were lukewarm at best. My husbands prawn and mango tacos and red wine marinated chorizo were declared delicious however and the service was as friendly as ever so we won’t give up on our normally favourite local Mexican restaurant!

Los Burritos has to be one of the best Mexican restaurants in the UK. I've eaten Mexican food in many cities and a few countries (including Mexico), and I can honestly say this restaurant is an absolute gem and must rate as one of the best in the UK for certain. The flavours are outstanding, everything we have eaten here over the last few years has been gorgeous, the service is always excellent, the staff and owners are lovely people. Always made to feel welcomed and valued.

Best meal out of our 4 night stay in Boston. Wasn’t busy for a walk-in on a Tuesday night but it still had a lively vibe. Staff really friendly and helpful without ever being intrusive. I’d recommend the Moqueca and the slightly dodgy sounding Donkey’s Dribble afterwards - both were very tasty and washed down with the house red which was good value too. Felt like we’d been invited into someone’s kitchen for a traditional dinner with the family. Definitely recommended.

We booked a table for 8, and arrived on time. We were shown to a table and given menus. from then on we obviously became invisible to the staff. We sat for 15 minutes waiting for someone to take a drinks or food order, but the staff just walked past. My wife eventually flagged down the passing waitress and asked if we could order. We ordered drinks, and went on to food. My wife asked the waitress what the chicken dish came with, to which the waitress stood there thinking, before declaring she didn't know. So my wife asked if she could find out, to which the waitress repeated she didn't know twice more!!. After explaining that we needed to know because we could then decide if we required a side order, she walked the 10 paces to the kitchen to find out!!!! On her return she told us that the chicken y came with salad apparently, so we ordered the "hand cut chips" as a side. My wife ordered a bottle of wine which was plonked on the table with a glass, before the waitress just walked away. She didn't open the bottle, or ask us to taste the wine, which is standard practice in any decent restaurant!! The long island ice tea i had, appeared to be lacking any alcohol content, tasting like cheap coke. Then the meal arrived, which consisted of chicken breasts and a side salad. The pitiful side salad in a small pot, consisted of shredded lettuce topped with 1 piece of thinly sliced cucumber, cut in half, 4 quarters of a thinly sliced piece of tomato, and a teaspoon of pickled cabbage. The "hand cut chips" were clearly from a bag, not freshly prepared in house, as suggested by the description!!! After finishing, we again sat there for 15 minutes waiting for someone to clear our table, in the end we had to ask someone to take our payment. The service in this restaurant is easily the worst we have received. We wouldn't return

Yummy food, great service and fun decor. Highly recommend- we came after looking at recommendations. Staff even offered colouring books to my daughter. Really enjoyable ❤️

I’ve heard a lot of praise for this restaurant but based on my experience I’m not sure how it has got the reputation it has. Food was nice, but the beef was very dry in tacos. The cocktails aren’t great but get the job done, remind me of cocktails you would get on a cheap all inclusive holiday. The service was probably the worst thing the staff didn’t appear to know what they were doing and were not very attentive. But they were friendly when you could get their attention. I think this place has great potential, but the night I went it wasn’t very polished and was just an average Mexican restaurant.

Ok really friendly staff,.. struggled with the menu,(I'm not good with different foods especially spicy ones)..starter veg nachos yummy...main veg tortilla..ok but dry. Needed a sauce. Next doors table look really nice and they were tucking in. Just not my cup of tea. Sorry

Ate here on a Saturday night. Arrived for second siting at 8pm and our table was ready - the restaurant was relatively quiet but filled up quickly. Choices were interesting and what we chose was excellent, although very tasty the chilli burrito had more rice...

Ordered burritos, ribs and nachos along with chocolate cake. Food really poor quality and threw most of it away. Burritos were dry and tasteless, ribs were over cooked, not tasty and sat in a big pool of fat, nachos were a flavoured tortilla chip and soggy. The chocolate cake was OK but the rest was really poor. Don't order from here. Cannot understand why this is number 2 for Boston unless it was better in the past.

Calamaris hard and food like out of a supermarket packet. Previous visit last year was very good Now dreadful embarrassing Complained about food quality No reply offered. Other customer came over to enthuse..... not convinced! Avoid this place. They just don't care.

“Los Burritos” - or “the burrito” to you and I, was a far more pleasant experience than we first anticipated. Upon a cheeky gander through the ‘shop window’ if you will, it looks pokey, unwelcoming and would appear to have next to no seating. But boy, could we have been more wrong? Upon arrival the senorita whom greeted us was full of smiles! She was friendly and welcoming. We were shown to our table at which point we were shown how to operate the ‘QR code’ - thingymabob! (What a crazy time it is to be out and about in this new world!) - it was simple enough for us to operate. Due to unforeseen circumstances (personal issues) we were unable to indulge in a starter!However we were presented with a complimentary plate of ‘nibbles’ - this was brilliant and the salted leaves were particularly enjoyable!For mains we each ordered Quesadillas and split; spicy rice, re-fried beans and chips! All the food was served in good time, impeccably presented and tasted nothing short of authentic and truly delicious. Overall satisfaction - price included was a joint score of 8/10 - nothing to complain about, truly wonderful staff, service and food. However, have we ever truly experienced a 10 in this world?! Very happy campers we are!

Popped in here as a lunch stop on our way into Lincolnshire for a short break- my husband and I and our 15 month old daughter. Was a Saturday afternoon so very quiet but can imagine on a Friday and Saturday night it’s is lovely with a wonderful at atmosphere. The phone was ringing non stop whilst we were there for people making bookings and several people stopped in for takeaways so reasoned it must be very popular with locals. Despite being the only ones in we had a fantastic meal- the food was excellent and was very fresh and tasty. The staff were really friendly - we were able to relax and so was our daughter who they fussed over enough to make us feel welcome- not always easy with a toddler. Not sure when we’ll be back in Boston but if we are- we’re going back. Highly Recommend.

Went here on sunday 13th sept .very nice . two young girls serving were very nice polite and helpful . We had nachos with pulled pork to start very tasty then burritos and tacos all very tasty .lovely clean safe resteraunt will definetly be going back

I have been wanting to visit Los Burritos for some time, but sadly I could not persuade my Husband to accompany me as he is not a fan of spicy food and was concerned that there would be nothing that he could eat. In a weak moment he finally agreed to at least give the restaurant a try and now he is a convert to Mexican food. We were made to feel welcome in a restaurant that is so beautifully decorated, that you can’t help but feel happy. The food was superb. The three of us shared Nachos and Quesadilla as a starter. There were then fajitas, Tacos and baked cod for mains and to finish, the most amazing cheesecake. The service was perfect, none of that awkward waiting for your bill or to spot someone to ask for another drink and neither was there someone hovering over you all of the time. Everything happened with perfect timing. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will most definitely be coming again very soon.

By far the best restaurant in Boston. I had mussels for starter and they were superb. The general vibe is friendly and relaxed and most of all safe.

First time visiting this place. The food selection was amazing, with everything you could possibly want from a Mexican restaurant. We settled for burritos and they were amazing. Perfectly cooked, perfectly filled just amazing. The range of drinks was also incredible, with a very large range of beers. The service was also amazing, we will 100% be returning! A little bit of Mexico in Boston, Lincs, I had a beef burrito and my wife had pork ribs. We had a jug of house rose wine. All very good. Recommend you give it a try.

Since moving from their smaller, friendlier place they have lost their ambience. It always used to be a happy lively place, where the rapport with the owner and staff made you want to stay all night long. No longer. We were seated in table 1 with the door constantly being left open and us having to keep getting up to close it. Although the food was ok we won’t be returning any time soon.

This has been mine and my hubbys go to reasturant for years. Every visit it is always beyond amazing. Tonight we took our two children along for the first time. I was a little nervous as our little boy (5) can be a bit fussy. He really enjoyed his mini burger from the childrens menu, saying "This burger is so yummy!" Once again Carla and the team have gone above and beyond even splitting a slice of chocolate cake so he could have a portion he could manage. Thank you so much

I wasn’t sure whether the move from a small cosy side street restaurant to a large main street premise would spoil the atmosphere but it’s good to see it’s only got better. Quite a few of us attended a surprise 30th birthday meal at Los Burritos tonight and had a lovely time. As always the food was good albeit not quite so organised as usual but that was due to an unexpected staff shortage in the kitchen. My meal was excellent and the service great and more importantly the birthday girl enjoyed herself which is all that matters.

Went here for a friend’s 40th birthday. They have done an excellent job on changing this from a dingy pub to a vibrant restaurant. Nice and light and colourful. Great atmosphere and vibe. Very busy but the staff were great and very efficient, with very little waiting. Had the Cod Fritters for starters then the Fish Stew for mains. I like fish! Fish Stew is out of this world. Would definitely go back just for that. Great evening with friends in a great restaurant. Highly recommended.

Went with friends tonight to celebrate a birthday. This was our first visit and we were not disappointed!! Food was delicious and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Very hardworking staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Tonight we came in for a meal... Never did we expect what we experienced tonight.Over a month a go we had ordered drinks starters and mains, but we got a call our son was ill. We had to go, so we did the right thing and paid for the food and left. We came in tonight for a meal, then the owner came over and she remembered us. Asked us if our son was alright, and she advised us we would not pay tonight! We assured her we wanted to pay, but she refused!Thank you so much for the service and the gesture, now the food!..... Well I have said it before when we ate at the old restaurant and I'll say it again...... Heaven ona plate, every mouth full is a delight, I loved it! Thank you so much for a lovely evening! We have noted you have a children's menu, so next week we will bring the boys. Again, thank you, great caring family business xx

I can't recommend this place enough. Everything is so fresh and hot every time we go. The fish stew is to die for. I could actually eat it every day The wife absolutely LOVES the cocktails and some chicken and rice dish. Sadly we've not tried the whole menu as we love them dishes too much to try anything else. Id4be lying if I said it was a cheap place to eat but it is definitely worth every penny. The staff are so welcoming and helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. When our son was ill one night and we had to leave without they offered to box our food up so we could take it home. That is a level of service I've NEVER been offered anywhere else.If you eat in just 1 place in Boston it HAS to be Los Burritos

We had very helpful and attentive staff with our meal. They helped me order a gluten free option for myself which is always a bonus for me being coeliac. The food came quickly and tasted gorgeous. All of our party were happy with their meals. We had drinks too which were average price. Overall this was a great value for money meal in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. We will definitely go back again.

We all agreed the burritos and tacos were great, filled with beef / chicken / chiili. Good helping and felt pleasantly full after enjoying our chosen dish. Pleasant quirky setting with friendly and helpful staff. Look forward to visiting again when back in Boston, hopefully next year.

Booked online as heard it can get busy! Good selection of food and cocktails, the prawn and mango tacos were delicious, hand cut chips went down a treat too!

Booked online for a late table after travelling and i am not disappointed. Food cooked fresh and very tasty. Albondigas Cubanas were great and the burrito was very tasty. My only criticism would be the plain rice but it was very tasty overall and well presented. Chips really are handcut and tasty too. Let the waitress pick dessert...i have it in front of me whilst writing this....very chocolatey! Brilliant find and if i am ever back in Boston again I will be back for sure. Staff are friendly, met with a smile, happy to chat when needed and offer advice. Enjoyed listening to people try and speak Spanish but all part of the nice atmosphere.

Have eaten here twice, one weekend night out and a mid-week meal. Both times the service and food was perfect. We will be returning.. Totally recommend the chorizo starter - to die for!!!

Been a couple of times since the move to larger premises and the food is as amazing as it always was!

Where do I start, firstly get in there and it’s about 30 degrees inside, baring in mind it’s 9 o’clock now and swears still dripping down my head.

It fills me with joy to see this place thriving and long may it continue. The food is delicious, varied and caters for everyone. Vegan/veg/gf options are plentiful and the staff are knowledgeable. Eating here is always a total pleasure and we always look forward to it, well done Candida and co!!!

We had a lovely meal in this modest restaurant. The food was good and we had our first Pina Colada and Tequila Sunrise. The service was good and the place seemed to be pretty busy.

We visited here today for our daughters 16th birthday, on arrival we found the table had banners and confetti on it which we loved so much. The food was, as always absolutely amazing and the service was brilliant.

Always our favourite place to go. Food excellent, drinks excellent, atmosphere excellent! New location has not lost the restaurant’s Mexican and intimate feel. Manageress is lovely. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Two of us ate here in the early evening on a Monday and found the food to be very good. We both had burritos, one beef and one chicken. They were cooked to perfection and very fresh and tasty. We had a bottle of wine and this was of very good quality. Friendly staff, nice Mexican style decor and Spanish pop music playing in the background gave a feel of being abroad.....very nice.

Our quiz team had a double to celebrate this week: the retirement of one of our key members and chauffeurs and our victory in the latest Boston Quiz league ahead of nine other local teams. We opted to meet up at Los Burritos in Church Street and we were certainly not disappointed.

I went with my mother and we bought the tapas for £25 deal for two people which was excellent value and came with a bottle of wine. There was a good selection of cheese, meats, olives, bread and potatoes and all the portion sizes were very good. I would definitely go again.

We were staying near Boston for the night so thought we'd go into town to eat. We don't know the area so we just googled what had the best ratings and I can tell you that this place deserves its high score.

Los Burritos is the best Mexican in Boston .. the gluten free selection is amazing and nothing is too much trouble for the fabulous staff. Started with the cod frittas followed by pulled chicken soft tacos stuffed with cheese and black beans served with guacamole, sour cream, salsa.. with a side of sweet potato fries. My non gf friends had the beef meatballs followed by soft tacos with pulled chicken and pulled pork spicy rice and sweet potato fries..

Nice atmosphere, young people, and a nice place to eat mexican kitchen and burgers. Great cocktails, as well.

My husband and I had a fantastic meal here last night. We pre booked the table as we were warned it can get busy. We arrived at 8pm and chose our table. The staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. The menu has a great choice of starters, mains and desserts. Great cocktails and a fab price. The food was beautiful. I would definately recommend the chocolate cake. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate. A very pleasant evening. A real gem in a town that often has little good said about it. If you have one meal out this year make it Los Burritos.

We went to Los Burritos after booking the night before. We were greeted by a really nice lady who catered for our needs. The food was awesome from the starters to the main and dessert and finally the coffees. It was 241 on cocktails that night. The whole experience was fantastic highly recommended if you eat out once in Boston make it Los Burritos you will not be disappointed. I'd suggest booking as only a small restaurant however there was some walk ins when we were there.

Was struggling to find somewhere to eat in Boston Lincs recently on a Monday evening, most restaurants only open market days Wednesday and Saturdays. Came across Los Burritos just five mins from our hotel and what a find, small family run eatery with authentic Mexican food. I had the fish stew which was delicious slight chilli kick but packed with flavour and plenty of fish. Also had a cocktail each margarita certainly hit the spot, if your in Boston make sure you try it out

Visited the restaurant on a Friday night with my friend, there was a slight hiccup with our booking as we had booked for 7.15 and they had rebooked our table out again at 8.30 (this was all rectified though).

Small restaurant in Boston town centre. A friendly welcome was followed by attentive service. Perhaps we ordered the wrong combination of things, but the food was very very ordinary with more rice than we could eat. Happy to give it another go, but this visit was not great

Me and my work colleagues came here for a leaving party for one of my friends and took up all but one table. Despite there being so many of us the staff and owner were very accommodating. Everyone got the food they ordered and within good time. There was a perfect amount of time between courses. I ordered the ribs and sweet potato fries, and they were so tasty! The meat just fell off the bone and the seasoning was perfect. I tried someone else's patatas bravas and it had some heat to it (for someone who is very sensitive to spice) but it was not too much. Delightful overall and would definitely return!

What it lacks in size, this restaurant more than makes up for in substance! Hearty, tasty, authentic Mexican food served with a smile. Will definitely be back for more soon. Great value, too! Be sure to book, as the tiny space fills up fast!

There were twenty or so of us attending for a colleagues leaving meal. We were so pleased we chose Los Burritos. We actually took up the entire restaurant as the establishment itself isn't big... But this makes it more cosy and creates a lovely atmosphere. We pre ordered and it was faultless on the night. All food came out to order and extremely hot.

Great little restaurant near the church. Very well priced food & drinks. The Margherita’s were very good Food was excellent & pleasant service

Great atmosphere, simple but effective. Staff attentive, lovely food at very reasonable price. Great cocktails too. Can't wait to return to try more off the menu.

Lovely colloquial little setting, had lovely food at a good price and nice service. Was relatively quick to arrive. Would definitely revisit in future, we didn't have enough time to sample the desserts, so that's a reason to go back alone!
