We have been V&A members for a while but were unable to visit the museum due to all the various lockdowns/restrictions etc. However, yesterday we visited the V&A with family to see some exhibitions and decided we would meet up for lunch in this most delightful dining room. It was very busy and there was a short wait for an available table, but it wasn't more than a few minutes. The dining space is light, bright and airy, with high ceilings and tables well spaced apart. Very tastefully decorated with a long bar area. There is an eclectic menu with something to suit most tastes and dietary requirements with an impressive range of cakes, pastries and cocktails etc on offer. Excellent coffee! Service was exemplary. The staff were polite and efficient but were also welcoming and friendly. The prices reasonable for the location and the quality of produce on offer. Well worth a visit.

This restaurant has set the bar for how Caribbean food can be made, with a twist is how I would describe it The food is made with... love. Took my wife who has never had Caribbean food and she absolutely adored it. The ambience was great, food and drink was on point with presentation a big thumbs up. I would highly recommend.

Lovely food, huge portion and super tasty. We went on a Thursday that currently has BYOB which we thought was great! Staff super helpful and attentive. Would highly recommend this hidden gem in St Albans!

Just wow, headed down to the harbour arm for the ska festival and came across this wonderful street food bar Minutas. We ordered steak and chips and I cannot say how amazing it was, the steak was so tasty and cooked perfectly, haven’t had steak like that before it was melt in the mouth. The homemade chimichurri sauce was mind blowing, so fresh and just went so well with the dish. Thank you Paula and your team for a fantastic lunch and we will be back very soon. Any body that loves steak or Argentine food this is a must x

From the outside this bar doesn’t look too promising, but we were pleased we ventured inside. It has a stylish and well decorated interior. We visited twice during our visit to Derry for a pre-dinner drink. The prosecco was good value at £6 for a 20cl bottle. The staff were very attentive and professional.

We visited Seasonal Flavour when they were at the Braemar Gathering. I enjoyed a fantastic Highland Venison Burrito. One of the few times I've had venison. And a Crispy Buttermilk Wild Pheasant Sandwich with fries. My husband loved it, my kids loved it. Great meal!

Best Caribbean food l’ve ever had outside of home! I stumbled upon this absolute gem when l was out for dinner with friends last night and on my way to a gig. Caribbean food to me isn’t just a huge part of my heritage but has the ability to sooth the soul and lift the heart so l have been disappointed many times on my search for food salvation but finally, l have been saved. I ordered the holy grail of dishes which is of course, goat curry. The meat was fall off the bone tender and the sauce was such a delicate blend of spices with just the right hint of heat and sweetness. My friends ordered the special of chicken stew, whose aromatic flavour was out of this world and sweet pumpkin curry that danced lightly and satisfying on the tongue. You can taste the time each dish has been given to marinate and mature. The standard mark of a Caribbean food place is the quality of their dumplings and boy, these did not let us down. They were crisp on the outside and light and fluffy at the centre. I think what makes the important difference here is that it’s clear the food is made with complete love and this feeling radiates throughout the restaurant, resonating from it’s owner. She was so warm and welcoming that you felt like you’d just popped in to see a favourite auntie for tea. It’s a real shame that l live so far away up north as this would definitely be my regular. I’ll have to make the effort to return when I’m back In London. Can’t recommend highly enough.
