Last visited Ogmore back in the 70s either took your own food and drink or stopped further up the road ! great to see this converted horse box minus the horse of course parked up offering a variety of snacks plus great coffee more than welcome after an hour or so on the beach with our furry friends as we didn’t take a lot with us intending to pop back to one of the eateries along the road this saved us leaving the beach area and very reasonable prices too, run by a father and daughter team they have a nice little business and nothing to much trouble for them so hope to see them again in the future.

On arrival at Ogmore beach, we enjoyed a sausage bap which was cooked to order and extremely tasty. We then had warm welshcakes and a coffee when we got back to the car park following a long walk on the beach. The coffee was amazing and made on a Pavoni coffee machine. Lovely and clean. Brilliant concept and great quality food & drink.

We ordered a pork and leek hot dog, a dragon chilli hot dog and two lots of warm welsh cakes! OMG the food was utterly delicious. I could have easily brought a chair and eaten everything, the hot dogs were great and came with onions! If you come across the coffi pig on your simply must indulge

Fantastic selection of Welsh food available, with friendly and efficient service. The best Welsh rarebit and Welsh cakes I’ve ever tasted. I always make a point of going there whenever I walk the dogs at Ogmore. The owner and his daughters are very polite.

Stopped off at this fantastic little coffee spot after a long sweaty costal walk and was not disappointed. Coffee was great, and staff super kind. My only regret was being strapped for cash and not being able to purchase a delicious looking hot dog. Definitely worth a visit!

A beautiful day for a walk on the beach with our dogs Stopped to admire the view and try out the delicious dragon hot dog. Our dogs enjoyed the doggy hot dog served sliced on a plate - what a brilliant idea . All the food is cooked freshly to order. Even a fresh water bowl for our dogs too . After your walk treat yourself to a lovely hot chocolate or a delicious hot coffee with some warm Welsh-cakes. The staff are lovely and friendly - very professional. We will certainly return to this charming takeaway.

Went for a walk along the cliffs and beach here and stopped for a coffee which was reasonably priced. It was too windy to sit outside but ideal to drink in the car overlooking the sea. Will be back!!

Much needed and welcome after a few hours on the beach as I was flagging for enthusiasm. However this was perfect. I asked if they had any chocolate and was offered Welsh cakes. They knew this was what I really wanted and they were right of course. Perfect!

A lovely, family run cafe offering delicious steamers, coffee and tea, as well as bacon butties, Welsh cakes, rarebit and hotdogs with a Welsh-twist using locally sourced sausages. Absolutely delicious, very tasty and the staff are very friendly and kind. We've driven a couple of times about 20 miles one way to just eat there and then go for a walk on Ogmore beach. Can't fault it! Make sure you dress for the occasion if the weather is cold - obviously this is not a restaurant, so there is no indoor seating.

We've been a couple of times when walking the dog. 5* Hygiene. Looks quirky in a good way. Nice to have a good coffee. Hubby loves the hot spicy sausages. Didnt have much to offer lactose free but understand the limited space may make things like that difficult. Hope the weather is kind and it can continue for most of the winter. Everything has a touch of class even the notices. The chairs and tables are also clean.

Went to look at the sceanary and found this little horse box that had been converted to a coffee van selling sausage burgers and coffee - with a few other things on the menu. The burger was delicious and the coffee good. The area is popular for walking and sits just by the sea. Very popular the day we arrived with quite a view.

The Coffi pig is basically a well converted horse box into a compact kitchen serving drinks and snacks to the mainly visitors. There is normally a couple of chairs and tables available to enjoy the fresh air and stunning views. This is an outdoor venue so make sure you dress accordingly. The staff were friendly and helpful and did not stop all day. A welcome pit stop for walkers or day trippers

Cut little horse box fitted with a swanky little kitchen. Even a table and a few chairs at the side. Great to finally have someone doing teas and coffees at the beach car park. The warmed welsh cakes were great. You could have welsh rarebit or special welsh hotdogs though I haven't tried them...yet. All looked clean and well run. What's not to like?

Stopped off for tea and cake with my small dog after seeing sign in window that says dogs welcome. Checked out the lounge to the right and found lovely sofa overlooking the window. Upon placing order I was told no dogs in lounge and asked to move to bar central area where dogs allowed. I said shame due to the window sofa and was told window view in middle lounge. You couldn't see out the other info due to High bonket seating ... Really not welcome as laid up as restaurant not a chill area like other lounge ... Tab s were laid up for restaurant use ....felt so uncomfortable and not welcomed that I left and doubt would be back again..... Was checking venue and staff out for fiftieth celebration but prob go elsewhere after that visit. Such a shame

Half the buffet missing, flat coke, staff were nice but still charged full price knowing full menu not available and my lad ate nothing... Will not be returning, which is a shame as heard good reviews... Food wasn't the standard Im used to, no pleasure in giving a bad review, hate to be down on small business but up your game considerably!
