I visit here whenever I have to work from my office nearby and it never disappoints. I have tried various meals such as the Jerk Chicken, Curry goat and curry chicken. The food portion is good and their hot sauce is amazing. Always good service here!

Amazing jerk chicken. My first time visiting the stall and really enjoyed tasty and well cooked food. Rice was spot on, sauce super tasty and the chicken had so much flavour. Beware the chilli sauce! Would definitely come back for more

Picked up a lunch here today upon recommendation; so glad I did! Food is out of this world. Not in London that often but planning to work my way through the menu when I am. I’ll also be forwarding on the recommendation

I’m originally from the Caribbean and now live in Devon. The first thing I did when visiting London was to look for some Caribbean food. I was not disappointed when I found Carnival Pot. The oxtail with peas n rice was delicious and only a short walk from where I was staying. Great food. Super friendly service. Will definitely be back when I’m next in London.

I love to treat myself to their food, the service has always been quick, efficient and friendly .. I only have 30 min lunch break and it takes me 10 minutes to walk to the place and back but it is always worth it !! I've introduced many more people at work to pass by cause the portions and price is just right ! So far they all said I found a GEM !

I was staying in a local hotel and didn't feel like going to a restaurant. I went to a grocer and picked up cola and some extra's, but stopped here to pick up my main course. I took the jerk chicken and it was excellent. Well-cooked chicken falling off the bones served over rice with just the right balance of sauces. Spicy, but not too hot for my tongue. I felt like I could have ordered anything there and would have been just as happy.

Walked past and the smell of the food stopped me in my tracks! Fantastic jerk chicken and rice with a good dollop of chilli sauce. I’ll be visiting again, have to work through the rest of the menu….

The food is OK and the people are friendly but they make a point of playing exceptionally loud music. It’s offputting and unpleasant.

Brown chicken stew and ackee and salt fish both 10/10. Highly recommended! Friendly service and good price.

Stumbled upon carnival pot while wandering in the city looking for a good meal. The very kind owner saw me searching and helped me out with my order. He was super hospitable and the food was SO good and very cheap for the portion size especially relative to London prices.

Decided stop by and have lunch after I had gone to the post office and it did not disappoint. Would highly recommend

The staff were incredibly friendly and recommended a few dishes. I went for the jerk chicken with rice and peas and fried plantain. I did not think I could finish the portion but it was too good to waste. The chicken was very tender and well seasoned. The rice was cooked perfectly (I was expecting a bland taste due to my experience trying to cook this once). It was not overpowering or tasteless but just right and went very well with the chicken. Try the hot pepper sauce!

We were walking to another restaurant when I smelled the most amazing food. We took a sharp left. There was Carnival Pot-A small food truck with a few tables and a view of the spire. We had the brasserie chicken and steamed veggies. A side dose of homemade chili sauce was a PERFECT heat without being just “hot sauce”. I had a beetroot mango juice with a touch of ginger. The owner saw my expression when I was eating and gave me a sample of the jerk chicken...my only complaint is that we didn’t find this place sooner. I would have eaten here at least one meal a day. The slogan is “cook with passion and serve with love.” It could not be any more accurate. This is a gem that should be a MUST VISIT for any true foodie.

Just stopped and ordered goat curry with rice & peas. It was as good as I remember. In fact it was better. This is my new go to lunch time place when in Southwark.

Had a lovely lunch at the Carnival Pot this lunchtime. I had the Jerk Chicken which was tasty and fresh. Rice and peas was some of the best I've ever tasted and I've been eating this food all my life. Service was quick,friendly & efficient..Well...

Superb Caribbean food, friendly service, and even a couple of little tables with chairs to eat your street food at.

Wow wow wow! The best jerk chicken and oxtail we have ever had from this little place! Really cooked with passion and the owner is soulful and joyful! If you’re in London find this place at lunch and change your life!

There were 3 Units down the Blackfriars Road , Malaysian, Mexican and then Carnival Pot Yes !!! Good choice I made in Hindsight.. Very friendly Owner couldn’t ask Name of Lady & Gent served .Good Customer service with a smile .. Regular Customers gave tips...

Great value, great taste, and one of the best chilli sauces I've tried. Will definitely go back to try the jerk chicken.
