Lovely restaurant. As we were a large group (13) we had the set menu. Everything was delicious. As a coeliac pescatarian the staff made sure that I knew which dishes I was fine to eat . It’s always daunting trying somewhere new as a coeliac but Paladar made it so easy and reassured me at all times

The food was sooo good, and everything was gluten-free! The garden was also really nice to sit in. Definitely coming back!!

Some of the best food you’ll find in London. Amazing flavours, great atmosphere and friendly staff! I went with a coeliac friend and it was just so nice for her to be able to look at the whole menu, not just some special gluten-free section. Highly recommend the empanadas and tapioca / cheese dice, and we also had the aubergine and the cochinita pibil - absolutely delicious!

I went with family for a celebration meal and it was the perfect setting. They have a beautiful courtyard, with plants and flowers everywhere. The food was great. We shared all the plates and enjoyed every one. Highly recommended.

Paladar is a fantastic Restaurant. I recommend the Tostadas, Squid and Eggplant dishes. The staff are friendly and obviously enjoy working here.

I am genuinely surprised by the high rating this restaurant has on Google, as our experience was far from deserving of such praise. From the moment we arrived, things started on the wrong foot. Despite having a reservation, the host was quite rude and dismissive, which set a negative tone for the rest of the evening. The service throughout our visit was subpar. We noticed that every table around us received a complimentary item, yet we were completely overlooked. When it came to our order, the wait time was excessive. We ordered two bottles of wine, but only received one. To make matters worse, the second bottle, which never arrived, was still included in our final bill. Speaking of the bill, I strongly advise everyone to carefully check theirs before paying. We noticed discrepancies between the prices listed on the menu and those on our final bill for several items. This kind of mistake is unacceptable and leaves a very poor impression. Overall, our experience was disappointing, and I cannot understand how this restaurant has such a high rating. We won’t be returning, and I suggest others approach with caution.

First time coming here and I loved it! The atmosphere was really nice with traditional salsa music playing in the background. Food was beautifully presented and really tasty. The customer service was really friendly and welcoming.

Great dinner with a friend on the lovely terrace out the back. Food was excellent, and fairly priced. They were out of the ceviche which was a shame, but all the other food we has was delicious. Tuna tostadas - some of the best ever! Good wine list too!

Our fifth visit in 7 years (we are not local). Fabulous food and wine and great staff to match. We love the plantain crisps as an old favourite and the ceviche, lamb, pork belly and tuna were amazing!!!

Best Gluten Free restaurant in London!

We booked Paladar based on its style of cuisine, cool fitout, its reviews and its location which was close to our hotel near Waterloo before heading to a show at The Old Vic. We were not disappointed one little bit! Excellent service from the whole team and the food was superb! The home made ice cream was sublime. Best I’ve ever tasted. Could not recommend this place highly enough. Thanks Paladar for helping to make our weekend!

The restaurant was a fantastic find. Our daughter suffers from celiac disease and in this restaurant she was able to eat anything without worrying. The cuisine is impeccable in terms of taste and presentation. The flavors are incredible. The Latin flavor in an elegant fusion is fantastic. The staff is very friendly.

Ordered through Deliveroo on 7 August expecting a gourmet treat for my gueara . I still cannot believe the food is from the same restaurant almost all praise Everything "crispy" like plantains, pork belky was,hardened and could not be chewed. The guacamole was so incredibly salty I decided it was beyond saving, after trying to rescue it with lime I'm willing to think this was some weird accident, but i won't risk it again

I could not commend this place more highly! It is my new favourite place in the city. I was in London for work and did a Google search for 'gluten free food near me'. This place came up and I'm so glad it did. The atmosphere is fabulous, the food is delicious, it's reasonably priced and the staff are so friendly and attentive. Although I hadn't booked, they offered me a seat in the reception until they could accommodate me. Everyone made me feel incredibly welcome as a solo diner, and they even showed me their beautiful 'secret garden'. I will definitely be back!

An absolute beautiful place to eat, the ambiance is immaculate. The food is spectacular and the service is warm and welcoming.

We don't get out much as a married couple with kids, so when we do it's special...and what a special night we had here. Food was gorgeous, staff looked after us and the atmosphere was great. Our first visit, but we're coming back...this time with friends. Highly recommend. Beautiful experience.

Truly fantastic food here. We went for the three course early bird set menu - beef empanadas, pork belly arepa, chicken thighs, pibil and churros. It was hands down the best South American food I've eaten in the UK, and at £24/29 for two or three courses, incredible value. I have never really liked churros, but my word, Paladar turned me around with their two dipping sauces and incredible dough. Both starters were superb. The sauce for the chicken was out of this world. Chimichurri fries are a great side. And don't get me started on the cocktails (pisquina and mezcalita, both stunning)... Even the rose was great and under £7 a glass, unheard of in London. Staff were wonderful. Food and drink were magnificent. I don't normally write reviews half an hour after leaving, but I had to get this down ASAP. That's how good Paladar is.

INCREDIBLE! This restaurant is a must try if you're in London. Everything is gluten free, and absolutely fantastic. The conchinita dish was seriously to die for. Our server Alberto was friendly and attentive. If I could rate this place 6 stars I absolutely would. Wonderful job everyone 👏

As a Mexican, I didn't have high expectations about food in England. Many people told me before I arrived that London food was really bad... and they weren't wrong... until I meet this place. O M G, that was INSANE. The pollo in achiote was so freaking delicious. My husband, who is vegan, found delicious vegan options for him as well. Everything was too good that I couldn't stop eating. I felt that I was going to explode but just wanted to force myself to keep trying. We had the guacamole banana chips, the achiote chicken, the mole, potatoes, a side of rice, the cheese cake, and also the churros. The service was also exceptional. They all were very kind and friendly. One more thing that really surprised me was how the restaurant looks inside. It's very beautiful, especially downstairs 😍 so green and pretty. I'm so so SO happy we stopped by

Paladar was a treat for dinner as one in our party of 4 has celiacs disease. The menu is 100% gluten free and 110% tasty. We tried a bunch of different dishes on the menu and ate family style. The octopus and ceviche were our favourites. Their drinks were well crafted and we were never without water. We did the desert plate and the purple corn churros were the bomb! I can’t say enough about how great the service here was. We will definitely be back

Great spot for punchy flavours and a great atmosphere. The Cochinita Pibil was great as was the tostada. The place has great vibes and the garden looked like a bright summer spot. The service was a bit patchy as we ended up waiting too long between courses though all the servers were extremely friendly. The place was definitely one for birthday / special occasions as the prices are a bit steep but a great experience overall.

We had the most wonderful lunch at Paladar. From the moment we walked in I knew it would be great - the staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere and is nicely decorated. We sat in the covered garden which felt very special - you feel like you're on holiday! The food was 10/10 from start to finish - especially the tuna tostadas!!! I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend this place!

10/10 all round here. We went for lunch with our 1 year old son(sorry about the mess he caused!) The staff were so friendly, food was great and service was fantastic! If in the area worth a visit. Highly recommend

Delicious. As in everything is delicious. I even asked if they made anything that did not taste good. Well, we did not find the answer. We were simply looking for a restaurant that would provide a few good true gluten free options for someone in our party that lives with Coeliac disease. She was in heaven when she discovered everything was gluten free, everything. If you find yourself turning up your nose to anything gf, you will be missing out to all the fabulous flavors Paladar has to offer. The service and atmosphere were wonderful. I would happily recommend Paladar to anyone.

Excellent food! We ordered Chef’s special tasters menu pairing with Argentinian Wine and it was sublime. Stunning ceviche, scrumptious octopus, succulent lamb, and an absolute showstopper of a cheesecake dessert. Every dish was distinct, flavourful, and utterly delicious. With exotic south American flavours, it was a nice break from western and asian cuisine. It was the perfect place for our final dinner in London (for now). We definitely would come back and will be recommending it to our local London friends.

Great experience! I love the mix of different Latin American styles in one place, higly recommended to know more about Latin cuisine and I think even Latin Americans can have a surprise. Very good service!

Incredible!!!! Coeliacs, you MUST go here! Definitely would recommend the tuna tacos, lamb skewers, octopus and churros… all were mouth watering and delicious. Felt extremely safe because the whole menu is 💯 gluten free. The aesthetic of the place is also extremely beautiful. Very satisfied.

Highly recommended - everything was delicious (tuna tostadas were my favourite) including the drinks (try the mezcarita). Service couldn't have been more friendly. Good option in walking distance of Waterloo, but with a local feel. Only downside was that the weather wasn't warm enough for the garden but we were happily accommodated inside, and it's a good reason to go again and try it on another occasion!

Decent place: portions are generous, space is nice and it's good value for money. Drinks could be better (the glass of red we tried had been opened for a while) but I'd come back for the set menu. Chimichurri chips were a great idea!

This amazing place just keep getting better. The cooking has always been wonderful, with great flavours of authentic modern Latin American cooking, phenomenal cocktails, a great wine list and absolutely charming service.

If you get the chance, ask for a table in their courtyard area tucked at the side and back of the restaurant. It is beautiful and calm there. Waitress happy to explain the menu which is a mixture of small and large plates. We had some veggie friends who joined us and there is certainly enough choice all round. The flavours of the food and sauces was absolutely stunning. My new find and just a 10 minute walk from Waterloo station.

Great gem in Elephant and Castle. Staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful with recommendations. The food was HEAVENLY. Everything was so delicious and beautifully presented. The decor is great - colourful, lots of plants everywhere, modern and clean, super cute for a romantic date or birthday celebration. We had intended to get the set menu but that didn't seem available so we did end up spending quite a lot more money than we had expected.

Signature cuisine, very well prepared and delicious. Very friendly staff. Well decorated place. However, some details need to be improved: good atmosphere, but the music is a bit loud; somewhat small portions; and they charge 15% taxes on the final bill, not reflected in the restaurant's menu.

One of those rare hidden gems -- the food, drink and atmosphere are all at that extra level ...

Cheerful, cheerful atmosphere with the desire to start dancing. For a Spanish person like me, the atmosphere was a 10 and the service was very helpful. The meal was very good... perhaps I would say abundant, I would have appreciated better recommendations regarding quantity. But all 10

One of the best meals I've ever had. The dishes are fairly expensive, but the presentation and taste easily make up for it. We genuinely did not have a single complaint, or any feedback on what they could've done better. The atmosphere was great as we were seated in their backyard "garden" and the service was top notch.

Amazing food, hugely recommend, but it's sadly just not good value. 11 GBP for four small churro shards for dessert seemed a little ridiculous. But it was very good food and ingredients - just small portions and too expensive. The filling for the empanadas could've used something more interesting.

I normally don't give a 1 star rating and this would have been a 5 stars. But the last few minutes completely ruined the experience. This was my second visit to Paladar, so this was me giving them a second chance. The place is nice and the food is extraordinary and the waitressing team also very good and attentive. So, why the 1 star rating? Simple: the hostess! On my first visit I already was a bit un ease with her attitude as she comes across a bit short and maybe a little rude. That's the reason I wanted to give it another chance because, everybody can have a bad day. The first time I was on passing with a friend so we were relatively quick, but the second time I was out on a day out, making this visit a special one. We had delicious food and wanted to order some coffee. But no one was coming to our table after desert to our surprise (and the waitress) we were given the bill before finishing our meal. The poor waitress was really apologetic as she too knew that this was not the way to go. I tend to tip on top of the service but on this occasion I decided not to, I was about to ask to remove the 15% service charge completely. But decided against as the rest of the team is a no fault of the poor customer service skills of the hostess. On my way out I did spoke with her and said that next time if she needed the table at a certain time she should have let us know before we ordered or if we were taking too long she could have also said something before the bill. Also I found the fact that she sent the waitress to deliver the message really poor management and leadership skills. You are supposed to protect your team, not be there so you safe face as manager. Her excuse that they have a maxim time of 120 minutes per table does not really holds any water as we arrived at 17:17 and left at 18:20. And the table next to ours was already there before we arrived and after we left. So it was really not because of time. The whole situation was really uncomfortable for us and it even had a whiff of some sort of discrimination that she didn't want us there. Terrible situation. And unfortunately what was going to become a must. Is now a definite I will not be coming back. The food is delicious but please avoid this place as the service by the hostess has the potential to leave you with a sour taste and ruin what could otherwise have been a fantastic day out.

The service was a little hit and miss. When we came in we felt really hurried because the waiter said we needed to order as the kitchen closed at 2.45pm. Our booking was for 2.30pm and there was another booking for 2.45pm so I'm not sure why they are taking bookings for these times if they close their kitchen then. There was no atmosphere at all and there were people constantly trapsing in and out talking to the waiter. The food was okay, but not amazing. The squid main course was very overpriced for it what it was. We felt it was all quite overpriced, and the 15% service charge felt too steep. I wouldn't recommend.

Can't rate this highly enough, everything was gluten free, fabulous food, fabulous wine and fabulous staff, had an amazing evening, never felt rushed or ignored, just felt special and enjoyed every minute.

We did go in around 5PM so the atmosphere was laid back and the service was fine. What I could not understand was the lack of flavour in everything we ate. The lamb was tough, the plantain tasted stale like it was prepared a few days back and the dusted corn dried out my mouth and I needed lots of water to make it go in. Maybe it was the time we went but we just did not enjoy this experience.

Such a vibrant venue from the decor to the music to the friendly staff. Enjoyed a birthday dinner here with my friends (one is vegan and one is coeliac) and because of the gluten free & VG options we were all able to share plates and eat together which was so nice. Highlights were the Green plantain crisps, taquero guacamole & Potato & salsa criolla, yellow-corn empanadas, roast aubergine, beans & Green herb steamed rice. The plates were beautifully presented and each mouthful was an explosion of flavour :)

The rating speaks for itself. Got to this restaurant at 5:30 with no reservation but they were able to fit us in (and had a sleeping baby with us that they didn’t look down on which is always nice) Cannot speak higher of the service and the food- flavour combinations were explosions in your mouth.

This restaurant is amazing! We passed by by chance and ended up finding this very authentic food. Guacamole is crazy, and the cocktails transport you right to the beach. And the desserts are amazing, incredible. But what really won us over was the atmosphere and the attention of the service, we were celebrating my partner's birthday and they treated us like royalty, we almost felt at home! In short, what a discovery! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great and the people are super nice. Oh, and a warning: the mains are huge, so don't go overboard with the starters! hehhe

I loved ! I'm gluten intolerant and with the dishes offered it was difficult for me to choose. The waiter was most polite and pleasant, directed me to dishes and it was a great discovery. The dishes are very fine and I must say that as someone with a rather fine palate, I am picky. Just a downside where there was a small group next to me that was quite noisy but it was still acceptable. I think in the evening it is much quieter.

Absolutely lovely restaurant. We had an aubergine each and trio of sides and it was just the perfect amount of food. It is a pricy menu but the food and the service is brilliant.

We made reservations in advance; I truly had a lovely dinner. The food was yummy, and the service was perfect. We ordered several servings of the empanadas because our youngest loved them. There were no kids' menu, so you have to order a few side dishes to feed them. The fresh lemonade is not that great, so I recommend ordering something else. I ordered the shrimp or prawn dish it was delicious and small in serving.

Nice food which was all gluten free which was great. I thought It was over priced however and needed sides at £21 to make it a decent size. The 15% service charge also is excessive in my opinion.

My second time visiting this restaurant and I do not live anywhere near this place. Delicious food and amazing service, the staff are very passionate about the dishes, that’s also how you can tell the food will be good. I highly recommend their crispy plantain with guac, pork belly arepas and tuna tostadas. Maybe it’s because these were the first dishes to come out and blew me away with their flavours! Oh! Don’t forget their cocktails too, one of the best margaritas I’ve had in London! I’m already looking forward to coming back a 3rd time!

One of my favourite restaurants in London. Delicious South American food served in a tapas style - if you can go with a group therefore you can try more (/all) dishes, but great regardless of group size. Big flavours and a great atmosphere. Great wine and cocktails too!

Probably the surprise of the evening, the food was delicious, lots of vegetarian options, which really packed loads of flavour. I wasn't expecting it all to taste that good for some reason. It is a small venue but well worth a visit just for the dishes alone. Friendly staff and good quick service as well.

We were a booking of 7 people and got lucky as they moved us to the Chef’s table in a semi private room. Delicious food and cocktails, charming and knowledgeable wait staff and a buzzing vibe. Will be back!

I loved this restaurant so much that I went twice in one week - lucky me! First time with friends, eating off the main menu; second time with my husband before going to the Old Vic theatre. The food was awesome, really flavoursome and varied. Great for vegetarian and coeliacs too. Super cocktails too.

The host and staff were all very helpful and nice. The atmosphere was cozy and familiar. Their cocktails and gin selection is amazing, the taste as well! Definitely made with high quality ingredients and passion. Food was amazing, especially the eggplant, chimichurri fries, cassave fries with truffle and the tuna starter 👌🏼 Would have loved to try the ceviche and beef, but appreciate the recommendation since they were not available. Delicious food, tapas-style. Unusual tastes but good!

I just wanted a quiet glass of wine pre theatre and this place says wine bar above the door. Looked ideal. I went in but was immediately informed that it does not have a drinks only license so I had to have a snack. Once you get past that it's definitely 5*. The corn ribs were wonderful and I was glad that I was "forced" into having them accompanied by a couple of glasses of really nice wine. Tasted one that was entirely new to me (orange wine) but one that I will definitely buy for a summers evening on the patio. All on all a great hour with really friendly staff and what looked like superb food. Next time I'm on London (I live 3 hours out) its a definite dinner date.

We booked the downstairs indoor/outdoor area for a business meal (group of 32) and couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. The staff were brilliant and lovely, we had a taster food menu which was really well received and the atmosphere was perfect. Definitely would return!

Convinced my brother and sil (over from Australia) and our oldest with girlfriend to try Paladar instead of OttoL and wow, we were so nicely surprised. Loved pre-looking at their website but everything surpassed our expectations. Different kind of taste bombs (we had the taster menu which we can fully recommend), decent portions and the pairing wines were an absolute hit. We will definitely come back again, not only for the cocktails which are worth coming back for as well. Big thank you
