Great Latin American Colombian food. Beware the amounts of food served are very generous.

We visited the restaurant tonight for my husband’s birthday after hearing great recommendations from family friends. Before booking, I called the restaurant to confirm details, including their policy on bringing our own cake and champagne. The lady over the phone assured me that it was allowed with no extra charge. To be sure, I even called again on the day of the reservation, and a staff member confirmed the same information. On the night of our celebration, everything was perfect the food, the atmosphere, and the friendly staff. However, when it was time to bring out the cake and champagne, I double-checked with the waiter to confirm that there was no extra charge, and again, I was told not to worry. Minutes later, the same waiter returned to inform me that there was actually a £20 per person charge for this, which was a complete surprise. I asked to speak with the manager, expecting a professional resolution. Unfortunately, as a General Manager myself, I found his approach unprofessional. Instead of handling the situation with understanding, he failed to acknowledge the miscommunication and did not address the inconsistency in what multiple staff members had told me. My suggestion to management: Ensure all staff members are properly trained and aligned with restaurant policies to avoid misleading customers. Clear communication is key to providing a great dining experience. Would I return? Yes, because aside from this issue, the overall experience was enjoyable, and the rest of the staff was great. However, I strongly recommend that management improves staff training to prevent similar misunderstandings in the future.

I came with my family because I thought these had the same quality as years ago and what a disappointment I was!!!!! In my order I told the girl I want two stuffed potatoes I said it like 3 times and when they brought me my order they brought me “Creole potatoes” I didn't ask for this since at no time did I say Creole dad but stuffed potato! If they don't have stuffed potatoes, it's normal to tell me that they don't sell them. And don't show me up with your stuffed potatoes that I didn't ask for, I don't know, I say! When the man came to bring me the potatoes I told him I didn't ask for this! He with a bitter face said how could he not? I told him I wanted stuffed potatoes and his response was we don't sell stuffed potatoes here, so as not to have a bad time I left it like that, but what a shame for wanting to sell, don't want to rectify your order. The chicharrón on the paisa tray was undercooked, the rest was fine. But very dissatisfied

I was really disappointed by the experience of eating at this restaurant. I’ve had Columbian food many times and this food just wasn’t good enough. Pretty tasteless, needed more spice and seasoning. The meat was good but everything else just was boring. The customer service was pretty poor and unfortunately there was a customer fighting staff (psychically) dreadful scene where the police had to come and take the lady out. Other customers left the restaurant because of this. It was an awful experience and wish we never paid for the meals. At the very least they could have offered some money off the bill or given a free drink given everything which went on. Bad customer service

The food is really good, generous portions and it feels like been in Colombia. My son eat a lot.

What a wonderful experience! From the moment I entered, I was greeted with incredible kindness, the waiters were very friendly. The food is delicious and abundant, perfect to enjoy without rushing. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, with music and details that make you feel at home. Without a doubt, a place I will return to. Super recommended!

It's my favorite restaurat in London for 6 years, while I'm in London I'll visit it every chance I get.

My husband and I enjoyed our food! The place feels homely, and the food we tried were all fresh and delicious. The portions will surprise you! Make sure to ask first how big it is as some of the mains are good for sharing, like the Churrasco steak! We’ll def comeback to try other dishes!

I went today with my children, so they know who it was, I sat at the back table on the right, after paying almost 95.00 part in cash that they asked me for the favor, I gave them their tip too, and how it hurts me I asked the waitress who served us the food a favor, asking if I could use the bathroom next to the bar, she told me it was for the disabled. I told her, yes, I don't know, it won't take long, I just pee urgently and that's it, well. did the one that opened with key and told me, it's busy if you want, wait, I stay there waiting for half an hour and to my surprise the same waitress comes out of the bathroom, when she saw that I waited a long time she went in the back, and she came out of the bathroom. bathroom, I came in and was taking down my pants and started knocking hard on the door, we won't go back there, apart from the fact that the food was not very good and quite salty and expensive, she looked like a fool on my face, let her put her bathroom in her bed and lost several clients because I will tell my entire family what he did to me with the bathroom, it has no name. This is not how you treat another client when she tells you that her foot hurts walking up stairs.

We booked a table for our group of six last Sunday, December 9th, and the food was excellent. We did notice that the meat was a little overcooked, so we informed the waitress. The staff was amazing—very friendly and approachable. They treated us wonderfully, and we ended up taking home some leftovers because of the generous portion sizes. When I got home and ate the leftovers, they tasted divine. We will definitely be back for another team dinner, as this is our favorite Latin restaurant in London. Churrasco al carbón continues to be my favorite dish. The manager that night was a very attentive and humble gentleman.

It used to be a good place to go, on our last visit we got a hair on our food, plus we got a really nasty waiter and manager, after going there for around 7 years i won't ever go back .

Really good food. I had the Bandeja Paisa it is so hearty. I’ve had this dish at other places but this one is by far the best. The empanadas were so delicious, there was so Much filling!!! The Waitress, Dayana was so lovely and hospitable. You can tell the people working here love their job and they represent everything I love about Colombian Culture. Well done to the team today!

I had a great experience at Leños & Carbón on Friday night. The food was flavorful, and my grilled beef was tender and well-seasoned. However, I was seated in a corner, and my beef cooled down faster than I would have liked. Aside from that, the service was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. I'd recommend it, but try to avoid the corner seats to keep your meal warm!

We visited this place as a guest, part of a Christianing party dinner. It is a lovely place, the food is really tasty and the portions are huge! The staff is friendly and helpful, but their English is not too strong so Spanish speakers are in advantage. We will definitely return in the future.

We went for my mom's birthday yesterday and the truth is that they exceeded all expectations. They helped us give him a little surprise and singing happy birthday, my mom had a 10/10 time. The food, the service and the atmosphere are spectacular. Not to mention the decoration that is very Colombian 🇨🇴🔥 Totally recommended, we couldn't finish anything we ordered due to the good amount of food they give. If you want quantity and quality this is the place!

Great slice of Colombia, decent prices and staff willing to speak Spanish with you (if you're trying to learn that is) third time been there and we keep going whenever I get the munchies.

The food was delicious, but a little expensive, I ordered the mixed grill I think that's what it's called and for the price it seemed expensive, it only came with a pork rind, a piece of meat, a sausage and the rest was chicken, and it cost £43 pounds. It seems expensive, and to be only for one person since they only gave me a portion of rice, salad and potatoes, in other restaurants you eat 4 people with £27 or £29 pounds, I say this because I was in 2 other Colombian restaurants and they are better price and food than this, another thing is that the waiters ask you for the tip almost obligatorily and well the tip has to be voluntary from each person, the service was good but I didn't get the best experience, I don't think I will return.

Food is so tasty and affordable. I recommend going with a lot of appetite as is a good amount of food. The plates are quite large so you can share too.

I went with a family who spoke Spanish. As an English speaking person it was great to see the culture and vibe the place gives. Portions are so good for the price, well worth it and service was good.

It was a pleasure to have been in this restaurant, we were coming from Spain and it was very pleasant to find delicious, homemade food, everything was delicious, the patacón with everything, spectacular, good service and a warm atmosphere, we felt at home.

I went today with my friends we was 8 people food was terrible , we ordered a bandeja paisa food small porción and plus the frigoles kind beans was bad I told the manager he didn’t care was rude and even apologies . Never coming back here I used to go before no problem at all but wha embarrassed bringing my friend for first time and dealing with this. Avoid going there and very expensive too

The food was good in general but the prices indicated outside are not the same as those inside on the menu, so I told the waitress why? And their response was that they had changed the prices that same day and they forgot to change the entrance price (lower prices) maybe it was a mistake but sometimes I think they do it on purpose so that you think it's "ok" and then When you sit down and order, it is already higher.

Good afternoon.!! I was in this restaurant on June 21, a Friday at lunch time (meals) with my family we came from Spain and when passing by the street it didn't seem very wow and we went in.. we were 3 adults and a 13 year old child we asked him to the waitress how much the menu was and she told us that 16 pounds the menu is supposed to be the first and a second plus the drink we proceeded to order 3 menus and the child ordered a tray paisa which I think does not reach 19 pounds And to drink, we ordered an aguapanela apart from the menu, we ordered a chicharrón to try it between 3 o'clock and the waiter told us that we are going to eat more?? I thought it was a little impertinent on his part since he is there to serve and provide pleasant treatment, not to question whether we are going to eat more or not..!! In the end, they only ordered one dessert and two coffees. When we asked for the bill, it was 90 pounds. I went to file a complaint because they had charged us incorrectly. Everything was broken down. The broth had not been charged. 7.99 pounds, the second was 10.90 pounds, and the aguapanelas were apart When a menu is supposed to come, we told the man who was at the cashier's desk and his response was that this is how it was charged... he didn't give me anything back since when we arrived they told us that the menu on a Friday was 16 pounds... argue with him but this site seems like a total SCAM to me..!! Oh, I won't go back and I will tell all my family and friends, I have many who live in London, not to go to that place because apart from Estafarte, they don't serve you well and they question whether you eat more or not... and the food can be said to be the tray. Paisa was very delicious but the menu, the sancocho was not delicious and the fried fish was over fried and it is a shame that the Latin people themselves are usurers..!!

The service was nice If you like meat, this would probably be a great place. I am a vegetarian, lol. They need to step up to make vegetarian feel a bit better cause the vegetarian platter was not it. The fried food on the plate (the round ball were potatoes apparently and the long things I don't know if it was supposed to be cheese or potatoes), but both these things were not great. There are better quality fried food out there, so maybe a time for a change. What I really really liked, though, was the rice with the beans I could eat this all day!! If I had to come back, I would just order rice and beans, and I would not be disappointed. My drink was really good!!

This place is a lovely canteen style Columbian restaurant with lovely service and a good staff, the food is lovely, nice and simple with homely flavours - the only thing to warn is that the helpings are huge so be hungry when you arrive!

It went pretty well for us. The service was the best, thanks mainly to Oscar who attended to us with great kindness and patience. The patacón with everything left a lot to be desired and the shrimp ceviche full of tomato sauce (ketchup) which ended up being a sweet ceviche with no ceviche or shrimp flavor. Could be improved guys! The rest without complaints, a pleasant atmosphere to spend a pleasant day with the family. The churrasco is very good and the empanadas with chili are very good!!
