The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Northern Ireland

Called in here today whilst looking for a different venue to eat but we're glad we did. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and we appreciated the waitresses advice about the amount to order. The food was all delicious and the wine was lovely. We had the cauliflower bites, the duck pancake, the meatballs with pasta and the tempura chicken ,would highly recommend it all and my hubby finished off with the apple crumble which he really enjoyed. We can't wait to go back. Well done everyone at this establishment 👌👌💖

Disfrutamos de la experiencia gastronómica más increíble, el almuerzo del 7 de febrero. Escogimos del menú degustación y nos dieron un montón de ingredientes excelentes y emocionantes, bellamente presentados e imaginativamente combinados. Las vieiras y Chateaubriand eran absolutamente increíble. El servicio en todo era profesional pero encantador. El ambiente era relajado, y sin duda tuvimos la mejor mesa en la habitación. Este restaurante con estrella Michelin definitivamente merece sus elogios.

I’ve been a big fan of this restaurant over the years, however the last two visits have been extremely disappointing. The quality of the food has noticeably gone downhill in recent times. Shu also appears to have lost some of its more experienced long-serving staff. Thankfully our favourite waitress (the red haired lady - apologies I can’t remember your name) remains a stalwart. The overall decor and ambiance is nice - please Shu just sort out the kitchen.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our wedding at Milbrooke Lodge Hotel was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like royalty. Their attention to detail and exceptional service were second to none. The venue itself is stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. The food was exquisite, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. Every aspect of the day was flawlessly executed, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. I highly recommend Milbrooke Lodge Hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable wedding venue. Thank you to the entire team for making our day so special!

We ordered steaks and we were both very unhappy with what arrived, poor quality meat, too much fat and gristle, worst steak I have eaten in a long time. Overpriced, wouldn't go back.

Edo was recommended to us for our visit to Belfast and it did not disappoint. We had five tapas dishes which was more than enough followed by a lovely desert. For dinner it is essential to book as we didn't see any empty tables. The staff were attentive and I can only repeat the food was delicious, one of the best Tapas meals we have had. The location is perfect and near to many popular bars i.e The Crown, Fibbers McGee. Will most definitely return on next city break to Belfast

Can’t say enough about this fantastic little gem. Dined here a few weeks ago with friends and had a wonderful whole Dover sole, cooked to perfection. We decided that we would like to come back and try one of Roy’s tasting menus and we were not disappointed. We had six totally delicious Indian themed courses each one cooked authentically and to perfection and served in a really creative way. The service was excellent with just enough time in between to enjoy each course. Roy, who does all the cooking to order, is really passionate about his restaurant and his choice of menus ,and Julie , front of house is so welcoming and friendly , they do make a great team. Unfortunately I don’t have any photos of our food as I was focused solely on savouring the meal. Thanks to Roy and Julie for a really lovely evening.

We came here for dinner because we wanted some good pub grub and this was very good. My wife had the goats cheese bon bons for her starter, I didn't have a starter. The 3 bon bons were served with a red onion jam, red pepper relish and a small salad. They were very tasty. My wife chose the chicken stack for her main course, while I had the creamy steak Alfredo served with penne pasta. My dish had plenty of tender steak, with chunks of mushroom and a large slice of garlic ciabatta. This was very filling and I couldn't eat all of it. The chicken stack had a large, butterflied, crispy chicken fillet, scallion mash, a brandy and black peppercorn sauce with a cheese and bacon melt. This was very good. We had ordered a French merlot wine which was replaced with a Chilean merlot at a similar price. The wine was "soft" with enough body to cope with both dishes

Fuimos a comer aquí antes de ir a un concierto. Pensamos que la elección del menú era bastante pobre. También 2 platos para 18 pero la mayoría de los platos principales tenían un suplemento. El entrante era muy muy pequeño. La comida era normal.

Want a change of menu? Had Chinese, Indian, Italian, and all the local food? Well what about Dutch? A very interesting and different menu for any meal. Generous helpings of quality food, in Netherlands style; and served by friendly people who give the customer attention and the young waitress who served us was exceedingly nice too. The tray bakes were also delightful, as well as the cooked food. I recommend trying this interesting place for a change; and probably, like me, and those I was with, you will want to return again, and try some other delightful items on the menu.

We've visited Rose Cafe many times and haev never been disappointed. They do a tasty fry, really lovely coffee and tea, and an amazing selection of homespun Sunday dinners! Highly recommended. Every time we go, we're stunned at the great value for money. The icing on the cake is the friendly owner, who shows she's glad of the business and always make us glad we dropped in.

Staff are lovely but service is slow. Starters were excellent but mains ranged from acceptable to poor. Chips were hard and undercooked, very lazy salad - handful of rocket salad from a bag - no dressing or any other garnish. Small and over cooked burger. Considering the price and the hotel 4 star rating I’m not sure the Beechill Gastro pub is worth a second visit. Overall - an expensive and disappointing night.

Primera vez comiendo aquí. . La comida era muy buena (me dieron una papa frita) y el personal era lo suficientemente amable. Definitivamente volveremos. Precios razonables también.

He estado aquí varias veces, mi consejo es que no visites las estanterías entre las 12 y las 2 pm los días de semana. Siguieron arruinando mi pedido, pedí sopa y pan de trigo, olvidaron la mantequilla y una rebanada de pan de trigo, generalmente 2 rebanadas, también olvidaron los cubiertos. También pedí una comida de hamburguesa a las 8. 50 se olvidaron las fichas, así que 8. 50 para una hamburguesa es muy caro. Este desorden ordenado sucedió en 2 ocasiones distintas, parece ser una nueva tendencia en este restaurante.

Delicious breakfast, lots of choice from continental to full Northern Irish, also gluten free options. Service was excellent too.
