The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Northern Ireland

Daughter booked for family of 6 for 3.30 pm Easter Sunday. Four of us arrived early and were shown to a table which was laid out with 3 menus on top.we shared the menus and had decided on our choice when the other two of our party arrived. At this point a waitress arrived and said there was a slight change to the menus and she took the three menus away. A few minutes later she returned with four menus which had just one change of food but an average of £1-£2 increase in price of all the item on the menu. We didn't complain but will never be visiting this establisent again

Primera visita con la familia. Pil Pil gambas pedidas, llegó plato que contenía 3 gambas, salsa y dos piezas de pan tostado, costó £ 14. La comida sabía bien, pero los platos más caros no eran comparables en tamaño. Los platos de carne eran muy pequeños, aunque en comparación con un enorme plato de mejillones llegó para uno de nuestra fiesta. Los churros eran oscuros y tenían un sabor quemado. También se agregó un cargo por servicio discrecional a la factura. ¡Un almuerzo caro!

Can’t say enough about this fantastic little gem. Dined here a few weeks ago with friends and had a wonderful whole Dover sole, cooked to perfection. We decided that we would like to come back and try one of Roy’s tasting menus and we were not disappointed. We had six totally delicious Indian themed courses each one cooked authentically and to perfection and served in a really creative way. The service was excellent with just enough time in between to enjoy each course. Roy, who does all the cooking to order, is really passionate about his restaurant and his choice of menus ,and Julie , front of house is so welcoming and friendly , they do make a great team. Unfortunately I don’t have any photos of our food as I was focused solely on savouring the meal. Thanks to Roy and Julie for a really lovely evening.

Fuimos a comer aquí antes de ir a un concierto. Pensamos que la elección del menú era bastante pobre. También 2 platos para 18 pero la mayoría de los platos principales tenían un suplemento. El entrante era muy muy pequeño. La comida era normal.

Want a change of menu? Had Chinese, Indian, Italian, and all the local food? Well what about Dutch? A very interesting and different menu for any meal. Generous helpings of quality food, in Netherlands style; and served by friendly people who give the customer attention and the young waitress who served us was exceedingly nice too. The tray bakes were also delightful, as well as the cooked food. I recommend trying this interesting place for a change; and probably, like me, and those I was with, you will want to return again, and try some other delightful items on the menu.

We've visited Rose Cafe many times and haev never been disappointed. They do a tasty fry, really lovely coffee and tea, and an amazing selection of homespun Sunday dinners! Highly recommended. Every time we go, we're stunned at the great value for money. The icing on the cake is the friendly owner, who shows she's glad of the business and always make us glad we dropped in.

Staff are lovely but service is slow. Starters were excellent but mains ranged from acceptable to poor. Chips were hard and undercooked, very lazy salad - handful of rocket salad from a bag - no dressing or any other garnish. Small and over cooked burger. Considering the price and the hotel 4 star rating I’m not sure the Beechill Gastro pub is worth a second visit. Overall - an expensive and disappointing night.

Primera vez comiendo aquí. . La comida era muy buena (me dieron una papa frita) y el personal era lo suficientemente amable. Definitivamente volveremos. Precios razonables también.

He estado aquí varias veces, mi consejo es que no visites las estanterías entre las 12 y las 2 pm los días de semana. Siguieron arruinando mi pedido, pedí sopa y pan de trigo, olvidaron la mantequilla y una rebanada de pan de trigo, generalmente 2 rebanadas, también olvidaron los cubiertos. También pedí una comida de hamburguesa a las 8. 50 se olvidaron las fichas, así que 8. 50 para una hamburguesa es muy caro. Este desorden ordenado sucedió en 2 ocasiones distintas, parece ser una nueva tendencia en este restaurante.

Delicious breakfast, lots of choice from continental to full Northern Irish, also gluten free options. Service was excellent too.

Tanto mi madre como yo fuimos a Solo a cenar como parte del incentivo Eat out para ayudar. Pedí un entrante de queso tostado y pensé que estaba bien si el entrante es tan bueno nos espera una comida deliciosa. Llegó el plato de mamá del bacalao al horno y lo disfrutó mucho. Mi principal del 50/50 fue decepcionante. Mi bistec estaba demasiado cocido y el pollo estaba duro en algunos lugares. No me di cuenta de que cada lado tenía que pedirse por separado. Uno de los postres era tarta de manzana sólo de nombre. Si hubieras cerrado los ojos, no habrías podido decir qué era. Nos cobraron 35 por la experiencia. Dudo que vuelva.

First visit. Excellent food, very impressed with our choices. Music perhaps a little night club like? (Just a wee suggestion to attract wider range of diners!) Also were a bit shocked at the price of a beer and a hot chocolate - dearer than Belfast! Definitely would go back for the food though.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. We asked for breakfast to be served earlier as we needed to get on the road, and they happily followed through. The rooms are very modern and lovely. We were there for a wedding and the gardens we were very well manicured and clean. Great stop over between Belfast and Dublin for one or two nights. At breakfast, our host brought us warm, fresh Croissants!!

An enjoyable three course meal in traditional pub/restaurant surroundings.
