The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Northern Ireland

Good food, attentive and pleasant staff. Nice atmosphere set in Moravian iconic village of Gracehill outside Ballymena. Not a licensed premises so you can bring your own alcohol so cuts the cost. Food great and generous helpings with great choices.

I am reveiwing this as this site gives no option to edit after a review is posted and no way to reply to the message left to the owner...which effectively gives them the last word. I mistakenly mentioned a ravioli dish I had when in fact it was tortellini. Very similar pastas but nonethelss, the issue was the sauce which was gloppy and gooey no matter what pasta it was served on as well as being piled high with unnecessary greens which do not belong on a pasta dish like this. Worse though is a owner who does not keep their property clean and in repair. Sagging, dirty seats where we sat as well as a toilet that needs cleaning and updating. This eatery is busy with enough customers so that the owner obviously doesn't feel the need to keep the property in good conditon. The servers were fine, they can't help what comes out of the kitchen and God knows what that kitchen looks like.

Had Mother's day lunch here.... The place was jam packed.... Food n service was nice.

I have dined here twice, once for a family meal and also for a birthday breakfast. On each occasion the service was excellent with a varied menu to suit most tastes. It is not expensive and the food is excellent.

Food not good quality afternoon tea on a slate it didn't look like any of it was made on site staff are really lovely and friendly

What a fantastic experience with the best tasting afternoon tea I've tried to date. Not only does it look good but the flavours are out of this world. Its a shame its closing but I'm looking forward to trying the new restaurant.

Hake with prawn mornay was to die for

We came for breakfast here when stopping in Armagh on a holiday in Ireland. Good location close to the Roman Catholic cathedral and had good choices for breakfast. Staff were friendly and although we didn’t have any the cakes looked very good.

Nos entregaron la caja justo en el tiempo que habían prometido. ¡Una caja grande y plana llena hasta el borde con todo lo que necesitas para una comida de tres platos para dos, hasta la sal marina para espolvorear sobre las deliciosas patatas fritas! Cada recipiente traía ooh y ahhs de delicia, desde la bolsa de inicio de palomitas de maíz, las muchas salsas, salsas, verduras que lo acompañan, las alitas de pollo en abundancia hasta las jugosas hamburguesas gordas y definitivamente sin olvidar el brownie de chocolate y el caramelo para morirse. ¡salsa! ! . No puedo recomendar lo suficiente. Tal delicia del viernes por la noche, lo único mejor sería que el encantador personal de su restaurante lo sirviera, pero como eso no es posible en este momento, esta es la mejor opción. Came across here by chance and what a delight. There's a great selection of choices for gluten-free and veggie/vegan diners. The food was delicious and presented really nicely. The service was great and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. It's also worth nothing that the portions are very generous - we went for the 3 course Sunday lunch and didn't expect such a big feeding!

I decided to take my husband here (in early March) to celebrate his 70th birthday. Twas a day out for us and we took the Enterprise train (first class) from Dublin to Belfast and it was fab. The less said about the first class Irish Rail return journey the better! This restaurant is a pleasant 20-minute walk from the train station. From the moment we entered the restaurant to the moment we left, we felt most welcome. We had a lovely table in the window. We were offered the usual waters at the outset. We were given the menus and had a choice between the set menu and the tasting menu. My husband is not mad keen on tasting menus but I wanted him to have a choice for this birthday. He chose the set menu and so did I. We thought the 55 pound three-course menu represented very good value for money. Canapes followed by bread and butter and then a choice of two starters, two main courses and two desserts followed by petit fours. Coffee/tea is not included in the 55. The cheeses were an optional extra at 12 pound and we had one portion between two. We did not choose the matching wines - opting instead for a bottle of red after having been treated to a bottle of champagne by friends. Between us we had the entire menu. The stand out for us was the flavour of the food. Other reviewers have commented on the portion size but by the time we had worked our way through the full menu we were full to the brim. The presentation of the food was perfect and the service throughout was impeccable. I am a great believer in leaving a room to improve comment and I honestly cannot think of anything. I am so grateful to the entire team at OX. My husband has an amazing day. Thank you.

This restaurant is great the staff are really friendly and it’s really interactive you can put in song requests the food is also brilliant the bread is one of the best bread I’ve ever had and for a Michelin restaurant the prices are great.
