Consistently bad, Used to come here a few years back, food was stunning and top notch, this past few visits have been seriously questionable, the garden doors were open which was nice untill the smell of smoke bellowed in as about 10 people chain smoking next the the restaurant with the doors open, which is a massive turn off when your eating but the cigarette smoke actually masked the taste of the awful Frozen food I was served. The food is the worse part ! Frozen produce, undercooked mess of a night out meal, dirty table/cutlery and even the “chip buckets” where full of mould and rust , didn’t eat any of my food apart from one bite (tasted undercooked and like dog food) slimey veg - sent it back with it all on the plate, the owner didn't take it off the bill or offer a discount, we had few bottles of wine starters and sides n all sorts - was all Terrible, the bread starter was just ciabatta cut up ( not rustic bread like advertised) abysmal if you ask me, they asked me for advice on how to do better next time which was strange while taking a seat at my dinner table - definitely won’t be coming here again ! This place has gone down hill big time ! Such a shame and I was embarrassed to have taken my party there. Never again.

Be warned! If you cancel within 24 hours they charge you £20pp!!! So even though I gave them over 5 hours notice and someone was sick I’ve now incurred a £80 charge for 4 people! Ridiculous for a small local restaurant! Supposedly nothing they can do as it’s a system thing?!? Visited many times before for drinks and was looking forward to trying the food but won’t be bothering now!!! Not a way to win customers mimis!

Used to live in slough back in 2013. I thought this review was posted but found out in 2021 that its it was still in draft so here it goes lol. As a nepali, I never had a polish food before. One day i was just exploring slough, saw a polish restaurant and decided to try my very first polish meal and it certainly did not disappoint. Portions were big and colorful, it was well seasoned, very tasty with polish beer. I would go once a week there. I still remember after all these years. I would love to go there again.

Spectacular setting floor to ceiling windows overlooking acres of vineyardsJust outside the medieval charming town of Alfriston it is a long drive to Tasting Room - the kind of entry one is used to in the great vineyard restaurants of Adelaide Hills Margaret River in Australia and Franschoek and Stellenbosch in South AfricaWe did feel we were transported to these countries but such good news for UK as there is little in the way of this in Bordeaux To cap it off the food was eclectic and creative - the gazpacho was topped with iberico ham and floating chorizo croquettes - an acknowledgement to this real Spanish dish. The courgette floor as a main was interesting stuffed with buffalo cheese and other accompaniments such a violet artichoke. The three course menu at £37 good value As there are a limited number of tables it is necessary to book well in advance We will nee backThe chef gained Michelin star at his previous restaurant so he comes here with a reputationTo cap it off the sparkling wines are exceptional - elegant and lingering taste

I don’t have enough positive words for this place, it’s been a dream! A year ago my partner and I decided to plan our wedding, we wanted something smaller and intimate and looked at venues for private dining when we came across this venue. The venue is beautiful, absolutely stunning for photographs and food is out of this world! We met the lovely Manager, Ionut, who is incredibly charming, kind and helpful. He put us at ease theoughout everything, kept in regular contact with us, designed us a three course menu (which 3 choices for each) and was so accommodating when we wanted to tweak a few of the options. He provided a trial for the menu and the food was just as good (if not better) when catered for a group of 50 as it was when trialled for the two of us. All of our guests complimented the food on the day and Ionut also helped us cater for vegetarians, gluten free and diabetic. Our gluten free guest even told us it’s the first time she’d ever had gluten free canapés made for her. The staff were all incredibly polite, super friendly and also accommodating to everything. And again, Ionut is a pleasure to meet, he is so friendly and couldn’t have made our day any better, you can’t go wrong coming to this venue, whether it’s for private dining, Sunday lunch or an evening meal! We definitely plan to continue to come here regularly for public dining. THANK YOU!

We recently used The Dining Room’s event service for a 70th birthday. The food was delivered on time and on lovely serving platters. It all looked incredible and tasted wonderful too - and we had loads left over to eat later as well! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will definitely be using them again and going into their restaurant!

Here is my honest review of the Vineyard Kitchen which is now under the umbrella of Leonardslee Vineyard. We enjoyed a 3 course Sunday lunch which price wise was slightly above the average cost but the surroundings, art work and overall environment made it feel above average. The Sunday menu is limited but less choice can be a good thing for some people and we found plenty to interest us. The service is lacking direction but the waiting team are pleasant and joyful but they need someone to help guide them and avoid missing the subtle touches that make a difference. Our table was layed incorrectly, we had a side plate but no bread was offered. We had wine but had to ask for an ice bucket twice, the rose wine was nice but not served or presented appropriately (bearing in mind this is a vineyard so would expect more emphasis on showcasing wine), water not topped up when empty, we had to go to the till to pay the bill. All fairly small things but collectively hold the experience back from what could be excellent. The starters that we had were unbalanced in the flavours. The goats cheese needed to be stronger against the pickling of the beetroot which also over powered what was a very nice piece of salmon. The peaches with the Burrata were not ripe and should not really have been served. The main was faultless in our opinion, one of the best we have had in a long time. The beef brisket was superb and I love it when extra gravy arrives without asking. The veg looked inviting and tasted fresh and the cauliflower cheese was again faultless all with very good amount of food. For desserts it was very much the same as starters, unbalanced flavours and nothing memorable. We had a bottle of Rose which was very good quality and reasonably priced at £20. Overall a nice experience which is frustrating because it has so much more potential and I wanted to enjoy it more but in the end there were just too many elements that made it in line with the price, just above average. Do visit but only opt for a main a nice bottle of wine and I think you will love it. Anymore and you will be left wanting much more than what you get

Although I haven't eaten here yet, the items for sale cast you back and back and back to a time when people lived with good sense, they collected things to keep for life, and the sight of all those classic dishes, linens, brushes, lights, glassware and cutlery, etc etc makes me want to move back into the past and forget this modern time which feels so flimsy by comparison.

We booked a pre theatre meal and thought it was excellent value at £25 for three courses. The service was efficient and friendly, our pork main course was tender and tasty and the other courses were good.
