Mimi's in Elmbridge

Be warned! If you cancel within 24 hours they charge you £20pp!!! So even though I gave them over 5 hours notice and someone was sick I’ve now incurred a £80 charge for 4 people! Ridiculous for a small local restaurant! Supposedly nothing they can do as it’s a system thing?!? Visited many times before for drinks and was looking forward to trying the food but won’t be bothering now!!! Not a way to win customers mimis!

A lovely evening very relaxed even on valentines the fillet steak and mac and cheese were lovely they gave me the wrong sauce this was quickly replaced the young servers were very friendly and helpful they didn't have some of the cocktails on the website and the tiramisu has ice cream inside that I found a little strange it's expensive but worth it for a celebration

A very enjoyable experience with great food, company, and service. It was a very quiet evening in the restaurant, so the ambience was a little lacking, but I would definitely recommend it for a great menu.

Top class fine-dining in Weybridge, with an excellent menu and superb service. This was our second visit to Mimis and if anything we enjoyed it more…octopus starter lovely and my ribeye steak was cooked to perfection….choices of wines also impressive….not cheap by any means but well worth a visit

It is great to have a good restaurant in Weybridge. Mimi's is the best gourmet experience in Weybridge by far. The food is very good and the service is impeccable. Giovanni and his team took excellent care of us and my Crab tortellini and Beef Wellington were exquisite. My wife's fillet of beef was buttery soft. We visited Grappellis in Cobham 2 months ago and Mimi's is everything that Grappelli's tries to be, but so much better in every way (by a mile). I will certainly be back. Had a fantastic Birthday dinner last night! Excellent food and service. Thank you!!

The lunch menu isn’t huge, but thankfully there was a couple of delicious vegetarian options - along with some tasty side dishes. We all enjoyed the dishes we ordered, which were well presented and moreish. I also had their tiramisu - which was divine! As well as an Espresso Martini, which was also very enjoyable. Service was fabulous, and I would definitely return. Highly recommended.

Delicious, fresh and well presented food. Very friendly staff and beautifully decorated restaurant. We were a group of three and two of us had the fillet steak with peppercorn sauce. And the other had the pork belly dish. Both dishes were very good. The pork was delicious and the steak was tender and cooked to perfection. We shared four side dishes between us: the mac and cheese, garlic thyme roasted potatoes, truffle and parmesan pomme frittes, tahini carrots and pomegranate. Our favourite sides were the mac and cheese and the pomme frittes. To drink, two of us had the Rouge mocktails, and the other had the Lamponi Sour cocktail. All three drinks were great. The only thing that could be changed is that the bathrooms were very cold in this weather, not sure if the heating was turned off in there.

Party of 6 for a birthday meal out. Food was absolutely delicious. Difficult to choose from a fabulous menu which did not disappoint. Nice to have so many options and especially fish ones. Only slight downside was that it was quite noisy when the restaurant was full.

A gem of a restaurant. We celebrated a 75th and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend the beef Wellington, and the side of roasted vegetables.

Very nice food based on Italian cuisine but innovated for readaptation to the UK taste. Clean and modern restaurant with a nice bar by the entrance. The service is attentive, friendly, polite, and efficient. On Sundays, they have a selection of roasted menu options. During the rest of the week, they offer an other menu. We will be back to taste the non-Sunday menu.

Had dinner with friends here last week, The best food in the area. Had some great cocktails in the bar before we moved through to the restaurant. We had a lovely night.

We held lunch there after getting married in Weybridge. Both my wife and I and also our guests had a wonderful time. The food was exquisite and the service excellent. It was perfect!

What a lovely place Mimi's is. The food was out of this world, delicious, great choices on the menu, beautifully cooked and presented. The atmosphere is warm, stylish and cosy and the staff were beyond hospitable. We were a group of 12 and all our needs, including candles on the cake, were completely and seamlessly taken care of. We loved it and we're booking to return again for an even larger group for Christmas! Thank You Mimi's.

Friday date night...the restaurant did not disappoint. From fantastic service to outstanding food, mimi's can't be faulted and would be very hard to beat. I'd definitely recommend and can't stress how good they are. The Weybridge area is lu ky to have a number of really good restaurants of which mimi's should be very close to the top.

A good looking restaurant with Al fresco dining area or perhaps a place for few pre dinner drinks. Cocktails were great. The menu is a little limited but there should be something for everyone. Three of us had the 3 courses and one had two courses. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed what they had. There is a considerable choice of high quality wines to match your taste, food & budget Staff were good but could do with a little more polish. This is the best food I have eaten in the Weybridge area. If you like high-quality food I would recommend a visit here. I can't wait for my next visit.

Went for anniversary dinner lovely waitress and superb Italian maitre d looked after us brilliantly. The food was fabulous beetroot starter and the ceviche we both had steaks and a great red from South Africa plus nuce gin and tonic and the best negroni outside Italia ,We went early so it was fairly quiet I hope this restaurant survives it was superb great hosts

Me and my wife went for an anniversary trip. It is expensive but what is expensive makes up for what you get. Good food costs and if you want quality food this is the place. The attentives of the staff is included in this experience. Our children were away and we went here for a thow back for when we could go to these places and enjoy fine dining and a good experience. I can't say nothing negative about this place where some see cost to say something wrong to mention we don't. Good food and service is pricless and this place excels in both. Thank you we loved our visit and would recommend to everyone we know.

It's ok but overpriced and the manager is on the lookout for easy pickings rather than looking after the whole of the customer spread. I may have been dressed poorly but I was sussing out a venue for a big party and I decided this is not for me...having said this the Galician squid is gorgeous.

I was excited about having a meal at Mimi's, but regrettably, I had to cancel six hours prior due to illness. I was unaware of the charge since it was mentioned in the fine print when I made the reservation on my phone. Apparently, cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice incur a fee.(£40) When I called to cancel no mention was made about the fee, When I inquired about rescheduling and having the charge waived, I was informed that the charge would still apply. The only consolation offered was a complimentary drink. This is not an effective approach for building a successful business. While the food might be excellent, the customer service aspect leaves much to be desired.

A nice looking place attracted me while I was looking to have lunch in weybridge area in Surrey UK. Ordered pasta and a lobster roll and to my surprise both were great. Arancini made of rice was excellent appetiser. I have realised lately that it’s an uphill task to find good wine in most of London restaurants as they are all good at serving diffère beers and cocktails. I don’t try wine anymore in London. I think a good wine drinker should avoid that too. Irrelevant to this restaurant as I didn’t tried one. Nice outdoor seating… enjoy

This restaurant was not on our radar until a couple of weeks ago when reports started to creep through that the culinary desert that existed between The French Table in Surbiton and The Clockhouse in Ripley had been filled. Service was exemplary, but the real surprise was the sheer breadth of the Mediterranean-leaning menu, quality of ingredients, and execution of each part by the small expert team in the kitchen. We were wowed by the Pigeon breast with asparagus & redcurrant jus, amazed by the Lamb Cannon, and we purred at the Smoked haddock. All presented perfectly. The basic French Sauvignon blanc was a worthy accompaniment.

We went for dinner last night and had a wonderful time. The food was exceptional (steaks were perfectly cooked and they had a lovely selection of sides.) The service was attentive. Delicious pre-dinner cocktails too. Would definitely go back!

Fantastic! Beef carpaccio was wonderful - shallot rings were divine - Octopus was perfection - Tuna was (HUGE) a delight - Harissa carrots and truffle Pomme frites I’d eat everyday! Afogatto (my fav) was amazing with its chocolate truffle surprise. Service was just as it should be, there when we needed something but not suffocating. Giovanni, the owner was an absolute delight. Without doubt my new favourite restaurant in Weybridge

Went to Mimi’s for dinner with friends on a Friday night and the service and food was impeccable! The chateaubriand was cooked perfectly, best steak I’ve had in a long time! Staff were extremely attentive and lovely atmosphere too. Will be visiting again!

Fantastic food! Had seen a few reviews pop up about Mimi's over the months (all good), so decided to try it for hubby's birthday last night. Food was delicious, looked lovely on the plate and was packed with flavour. You can also glimpse Chef and his staff working hard via a little open section in the wall. Staff friendly and attentive. Have recommended to friends who are going to try it too. Decor modern but comfortable with a little bar and attractive tables out front too. Well worth a visit!

Went to dinner on a Thursday night - 6 of us. The interior and furniture is lovely, a high end vibe. Food was great, with the spring menu and reasonably priced with the 2 and 3 course priced menu. Starter sizes are very small though and should be made bigger. Cocktails were delicious made by Jimmy. The waiter was very attentive. We were the only people in the restaurant for the whole evening, so the atmosphere needs improvement. Would go back, on the weekend.

I love this restaurant. I went with my friends and we all ordered the octopus and hands down it was brilliant. I really want to come back another day to try everything else.

SALTY inedible breakfast. We used to go for dinner here and really enjoyed it so we tried breakfast and it was inedible. Did the chef drop the salt pouch in our food? We won’t be back.

Horribly overpriced and cynical. Food is good quality but very expensive for what you get. Service distinctly average, even disinterested. There are far better places to go than this.

Mimis has the best food around, always have a great time when we visit. Thoroughly recommend the Sunday roast too, no where tops it!

First time visit, we booked for breakfast. Full English Breakfast was served without the the bread. No salt and pepper was placed on the table either( both had to asked from the waitress). Sugar had to be asked for as well. I know this is nitpicking, but I expect when you promote your establishment on social media through sponsored ads, that you should make sure that the basics are taken care of. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The chef looked a little rough 30 minutes after opening. I had some expectations, but because of those minor things it let me down a bit. Hopefully management can get these things sorted out. Booking is recommended as more people came in.

We've now been several times after finding this gem. I think it's easily the best restaurant in Weybridge. The food and service are both first class.

We've been trying to find a good roast for a long time. I saw a Facebook advert with comments highly recommending Mimis. Yes, it was expensive but I've never been more happy to pay for a meal out! We got a taste of everything with the Roast Sharer and every part of it was divine and expertly cooked, fresh. No soggy spuds here. Thank you so much to the chefs! Absolutely delicious and I highly recommend for a rare treat.

An absolutely wonderful experience! The food was amazing I could have eaten so much more of everything it was fresh tasty and perfectly presented!! Watching the chefs assemble the plates in front of us was something I throughly enjoyed. I most certainly will be back for more!!

Main guy has issue with people adding extra's.... or even putting hollandaise on the side?? "The chef just does what's on the menu" 🤨 ....despite the fact the menu online (which is what I booked based on) HAS THE OPTION TO ADD EXTRAS. Dressed nicely...

We’ve eaten at Mimi’s on a number of occasions. Today was so good I needed to share. The roast was out of this world. I like to think I’m a good cook. So eating out can sometimes feel a waste of money, today Jack and his team made that feel different. I couldn’t re make our meal today at home. Especially not as well valued in money. We had the sharer roast £45 for 2 and I had a cheese board and my partner had a pudding. It was 10/10. I could not fault it. The best roast in the area by far! Thanks mimi’s.

My family and I attended Mimi’s for a private Birthday Celebration on Sunday afternoon. We had such a fantastic time. It’s beautifully decorated, plenty of seating and a standing area by the bar. Drinks, glassware and services were great also, I finished the evening off with one of the best coffees I ever had. I have quite a few food intolerances and the food and the communication with me was outstanding. I felt really looked after, staff were polite and kind. The food itself was absolutely delicious, we had a selection of canapés and bowl dishes. The pork in particular, wow!! It is a real shame that I don’t live closer to Mimi’s but I will most definitely be back again when I come to visit. Thank you to all the staff for making my sisters birthday a fabulous one.

Only had a glass of wine. Shame they only offer 125 or 250ml. 175ml option would be preferable. Nicely chilled.

I just had the best Sunday lunch ever. A sharing platter of beef, chicken & pork belly- roast potatoes, yorkshire puds & vegetables. Absolutely fabulous - & the pudding were great too I had the fab crumble but the chocolate rated top marks.

Oh Mimi's, I was so looking forward to visiting you for breakfast on my birthday. Having checked the website, which states breakfast until 12pm, we arrived at 11.45am. We were asked where we would like sit while the member of staff got us a menu. However, when they brought the menu over, they said they had stopped serving breakfast and we could only order lunch. When I queried this, I was told that there is a 15 minute period before 12pm, when the kitchen clears up breakfast and prepares for lunch. During this time, it would not be possible for the chef to poach us a couple of eggs... There were very few people in the restaurant when we visited, so it was not busy. Although we had barely missed the ordering window, rules are rules apparently. The lunch menu looked nice, but it was a bit too early for us, so we left and went to Power's instead. They serve a delicious all-day brunch. Mimi's decor and interior look great. The menu looks very good too, but they're going to have to make sure their website is accurate and maybe be a little more flexible if they want to maintain goodwill.

We had really high expectations of Mimi’s restaurant, through a person recommendation, and we decided to book (in advance) a ‘special breakfast’ treat for our daughter’s 18th Birthday. On arrival, there was no mention of her Birthday by the two staff at the bar area, no escort through to the restaurant dining area, no ‘reservation’ on the table, ‘zero effort’ in any warm welcome or a sign to show any recognition of our reason to be there. Nothing. We quickly noticed that we, in fact were the only booking they had in the entire restaurant so we had the choice of literally any table. Waiter visits the table and gives menus etc., all fine with that, but no mention of our pre booked reason for us being there.. We ordered our food, which was ok, no real problem’s with that, but very expensive for what it actually was, the full English Breakfast could have been bigger with the portions, one egg, tiny saucepan of beans, two tiny streaks of bacon, and one hashbrown, mushroom, and cherry tomatoes on the vine, we paid nearly £80.00 for our breakfast experience (including a service charge) ~ on reflection, I should have taken that off the bill, but instead, rather than make a scene, my dissatisfaction goes online and viral & I simply will not be returning again. My simple advice to you who read this, is, if you are celebrating anything like a birthday or special occasion, then don’t book your reservation here. The staff are not interested and make very little or no effort at all. Overall Customer service is poor. There is a reason the restaurant was empty, sadly we found out the reason why. Disappointing experience on what is a special day.

Really great spot! Came by chance and it worked out better than expected. Full English was beautifully cooked, vine mushrooms were delicious and beans a surprisingly well seasoned treat. Coffee is a gentler blend, but very drinkable. Staff are relaxed and friendly. Absolutely worth your visit.

I had dinner with my family here and it was a brilliant experience. The waiters and waitresses are helpful and attentive - service was excellent. The menu is varied and high quality. The interior decor is beautiful and we really enjoyed the whole evening.

OMG! The best brownies and prawns ever! Really enjoyed the food and very thankful for the staff being friendly.

Ate there last night, and loved every minute. The service was impeccable and the food was simply gorgeous. The restaurant ambiance was just right and it felt a special place to eat. Had read some reviews saying drink prices were high but I didn’t find that. They were what you would expect for a fine dining restaurant. We will be back soon.

The place has a lot of potential which they are not using. The bar area has music and could be a nice lounge if advertised properly but I think they high drink prices doesn’t appeal to people just wanting a drink. The dinner menu is overpriced and the starters are trying too hard to be different and does not focus on what people would enjoy. I have heard great reviews on their tapas and asked if we could order as a starter, the waitress declined and said this was only for the bar area, we asked if we could just order the calamari off it then as the starters were not appealing and we were declined again which was a bit surprising as the bar area was empty and there was only 3 other couples in the dinner area who were already on their mains. We ordered the seafood risotto which was very good. After we finish our meal it took 40+ minutes for the waitress to clear our plates (this may have been longer as we’re engrossed in conversation) as she cleared our plates she notified us that the kitchen was closing in a minute and didn’t know if we wanted dessert- we said we did want dessert and if this was the case it would have been nice to be notified sooner. We ordered tiramisu, 10 minutes later she comes over and says they no longer have tiramisu (disappointing) and recommends the chocolate tart, she disappears again and we see our chocolate tart is sat on the side waiting to be brought over to us. It was decorated lovely however tasted awful. The pasty was like cardboard and the chocolate had just come out of the fridge (obviously where they had packed up for the night) and we couldn’t break into it, we sent it back and then seconds later she brings us the bill with the chocolate tart and a £12 service charge included. I declined to pay for either and explained my reasons that the service and atmosphere has been slow and not very enjoyable. She requests for her manager to take this off the bill. As we leave we say goodbye & thank you to her & manager &bar staff no response

Fantastic staff who provided an excellent service. We went for dinner as a larger group and the food was lovely. I would highly recommend the mango and raspberry sorbet for dessert!

I had the pleasure of having dinner at Mimi's last night with my co-workers. The sea bass with roasted charlotte royals was delicious. Perfectly cooked, great flavor. The sorbet was the perfect dessert. I did taste the truffle mac & cheese and definitely would recommend it. Cheers!

What a beautiful restaurant in Weybridge. The service is great and the food is even better. This is hands down the best octopus I have ever had and the best steak that I have had in London! The Malbec we ordered was delicious. I will be back to try the cocktails, the confit duck starter and the seafood risotto very soon! Everyone’s food looked great and the entire table collectively agreed that we would all be coming back again soon. I would highly recommend!

After moving from Belgravia to Walton on Thames we have struggled to find local restaurants with fabulous food. Mimi delivered , the menu is small but varied. . The chargrilled octopus was super delicious and the sea bass served with new potatoes was extremely enjoyable....

Superb food. Lovely classic yet modern interior and a fantastic dining experience. Fresh ingredients, prepared meticulously. Beautiful flavours perfectly combined. Good portions so we were completely satisfied. I can’t wait to go back and try other dishes on the menu. Wonderful to have such a cool restaurant in Weybridge.

Unfortunately I have to give this a 3* 😢 sorry! We came for dinner last night and we had really high hopes for this new restaurant. The restaurant claimed it was bringing a bit of London to Weybridge so we were really excited. But instead we were met with a slightly formal atmosphere and a restaurant that is trying to be current/modern but is a bit dated with white long table cloths and formal dinner service.. The cocktails and food were just ok, the meal was also very expensive. You can’t order tapas in the restaurant itself at the back so you have to order this at the bar which isn’t equipped for tapas style dining the tables are small etc. We won’t be returning sadly. Sorry to leave the review but wanted to be honest to those hoping for a London vibe.

Tapas menu is good value for money at £20 for 3 plates, easily enough for two people. They also serve great local coffee from copper coffee roasters. Interior is lovely, worth a visit!

Lovely venue with friendly staff. Unfortunately the quality of the coffee has gone downhill somewhat since opening. Flat white used to be superb and is now a milky latte. When an espresso has no crema you know you are in trouble.
