No. 12 Restaurant in Reigate and Banstead

I have tried to book here but there is no response. From the outside it appears to have closedit's doors.

Family dinner before a wedding. Party of six. On a Thursday evening the restaurant was virtually empty. The host was attentive but not overly so. A good pace of service throughout the evening. Food was good, varied menu, an several unusual dishes. I had the marinated chicken kebab, which was tasty. Great lime & lemon posset to follow. In all, a very nice evening, without being spectacular. A solid choice for a special occasion or just dinner with friends.

We have frequented No 12 in the evening a few times but never for lunch . It was busy but having to wait for a Sunday lunch for 1 hour was testing us . It then arrived luke warm but was too hungry to send it back . Food was good but the saviour of the day was the wonderful waitress Lucia who has such a great personality and her customer service skills were superb. She took time to explain the normal chef was not in and they were working with a relief Chef . Kindly gave us a drink on the house for the long wait without being prompted and then could see my son had not enjoyed the Burger ( which was dry and tasteless) and took it off the bill. We will be back again but only because of Lucia

I recently attended No12 for a family meal. It was amazing! The service was great, the staff were fabulous and so attentive. I had the chicken kebab which was superb!!! I would definitely recommend and will be going back!

I have been taken here twice now. Once for a birthday and a tribute night. Food was nothing special but the service was simple awful.

Sunday lunch for two, Cote De Boeuf with trimmings, sat in the garden terrace with a very nice bottle of blush wine called Berne Inspiration Cote De Provence, great wine. Highly recommend No 12 for causal Sunday lunch.

We have visited No. 12 for a number of years, they just get better, last night the food was divine from start to finish, we had a table for 4, very well organised staff, friendly and professional, spottless, we visited The Ivy in Wimbledom the day before and No 12 was as good or even better as no traveling involved, Fine dinning in our door step.The flavours and ingredients in all dishes were delicious, the portions are perfect, presentation is excellent. I had a party for my birthday before lockdown, it was a fantastic experience; when we are allow parties indoors, it is the best venue for private events. Sunday roast is delicious,We highly recommend No. 12. Thank you

Had a lovely meal last night, first time here and defiantly not the last, amazing food and wonderful staff very attentive and they even picked up that it was my daughter in laws birthday, when she received her dessert they had put a candle on it, so nice. I am telling all my work colleagues about this little gem and cant wait to go back. Thanks for a midweek boost.

I booked here for Sunday lunch for myself and family. In the reservation, I mentioned that my husband and I were celebrating our Ruby Wedding Anniversary today. Upon arriving, it would have been nice if a member of the team had acknowledged this. Disappointing that, at no time, did anyone mention our special day.The food was OK - very large portions. Bit surprised at the end to pay £2.50 for a small cup of lukewarm tea with a teabag floating in it.Nobody approached us during our meal to ask if everything was all right with the meal. To sum up, adequate but rather impersonal.

No 12 is honestly our favourite restaurant. The food is exceptional and wine is fabulous. Every single course is absolutely faultless. The Sunday roasts are also out of this world!! Don't be put off by the difficulty booking (it can be frustrating when you can't get through on the phone line and messages aren't returned) but trust me, stick with it, because it is definitely worth it!

My wife and I booked a table last night. The temporary outdoor area was warm and comfortable. The staff were friendly and polite. Solid menu. I ordered the charcuterie board and the ribeye. My wife had the goats cheese tart and the fillet steak. All meals were delicious. The lemon and raspberry posset was the perfect dessert after all that food. We were absolutely stuffed and left with smiles on our faces. Can’t wait to come back and sit inside and maybe bring the kids so we can try the pizzas. Thank you for making our date night.

No 12 saved the day. We had booked a table to have Xmas dinner at a local pub, but then tier 4 happened and we were unable to do this. Luckily No 12 we’re still doing a Xmas dinner delivery service, so we ordered two turkey platters that came with all the trimmings. The food was delicious and came with lovely vegetables and pigs in blankets. We also had delicious chocolate brownies and an apple crumble. We can’t wait to be able to visit the venue in person next time. Would def recommend.

Really classy surroundings. Modern and relaxed. Prompt servIce and friendly staff . For starters , the duck rolls were light and fresh and the warm scotch egg with a perfect inside egg. Sharing roast platter very good value with a scrummy jus gravy

We had anticipated that the restaurant would be very full as we had taken advantage of the extended "eat out to help out" discount. In fact it was quite quiet which turned out to be disappointing given the quality of the food we were served. Our waitress was friendly and efficient and all courses arrived in good time. No complaints there. The food was lovely and also substantial. The 4 of us had different dishes and all were perfect, just what we had hoped for. Wine prices were reasonable and food was also competitively priced with other restaurants in the area. I have no criticisms but clearly due to the number of empty tables there was a lack of atmosphere. Many staff were on duty but were largely under-employed

Fabulous Sunday lunch delivery. Roast Cote de boef arrived hot and beautifully cooked. Huge portions left me with leftovers too!

My wife and I had the sharing Cote de Bouffe, every element was cooked to perfection, tasted wonderful, the red Jus was almost drinkable and the Yorkshire pudding as good as any we have had.

Lovely dinner , party of 6 . Everyone had chicken kebabs and salad . I am a vegetarian and had an amazing wild mushroom arancini and rocket salad . Good prices and great service , and lots of choice on the menu . We aren’t local but will revisit when back in Kingswood!

We have been to this site many a times over the last 10 or more years under various managements at times excellent. We were led to expect a very good quality food this time as well. On the whole the dishes were tastless, both starters and the mains and the coffee very weak and lukewarm..

The power of TripAdviser - we had no idea this place existed until searching for somewhere else. But as the reviews were encouraging we decided to give it a try and without a shadow of doubt we shall return. One of the best Sunday lunches ever. The menu wasn’t particularly extensive (a good sign in my opinion) so most of us elected for various roasts, with one sea-bass and my wife opting for a larger smoked salmon starter as a main. All of these were proclaimed as excellent (cauliflower cheese highly commended) but the standout was the duck rolls for starters which were the best I’ve ever tasted. Desserts - pannacotta and lemon posset. Both excellent. Portions big enough to guarantee no more food needed until tomorrow. Excellent house red too. Staff attentive and friendly and the bill was reasonable for a party of five. Did I mention the duck rolls? Unbeatable.

Perfectly distanced tables led to a relaxed atmosphere at this charming restaurant. This was our second visit, the first being our wedding anniversary in March three days before lockdown. Its classy and fresh with staff who may be young but are delightful. The menu is superb and tonight's special was scallops....glad we chose to have them! Steak perfectly cooked and my sea bass delicious. Its not cheap but neither is it a rip off. We will definitely be back!

--Sunday lunch I/We have had anywhere.I had been once before with my daughter and then had to have a takeaway this year on Mother's day due to the virus.Yesterday I was able to take other members of the family and everyone agreed/thoroughly enjoyed their meal- ages ranging from 77 to 5.Their Cote de Boef platter to share is fantastic- generous,tender and cooked just the way we wanted.- from medium rare to well done. Just managed desserts too.!Also staff so friendly and attentive but not intrusive- Hannah and the girls.Shows consistency each visit and will be back again.

Visited here with my partner and was very impressed with the food and service. It was our first visit, the restaurant was well air conditioned, had a nice atmosphere and the tables were spaced out nicely. Staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered the Ham shock Terrine to start which was tasty. I ordered the Fish and Chips which was a large portion but so delicious - my boyfriend was jealous of my dinner! #foodenvy! Batter wasn’t too greasy and was nice and crispy. Boyfriend ordered the Beef burger with cheese bacon and mushrooms which he also thoroughly enjoyed! Large portion so good value for money!Would highly recommend eating here, and will be returning soon!

April 2020, I Orderered and Ate A Delicious Mealof Cote de Boef, Roast Potatoes, Parsnips, Yorkshire Pudding, Carrots,Cabbage, Cauliflower Cheese and Gravy! Sticky Toffee Pdding to follow!It was A Very Generous Meal, in fact it took me 3 Days to Eat It!It was so Tasty it did Not need any Seasoning apart from the CreamedHorseradish Sauce that accompanied it!Jay the Delivery Guy who delivered it was also a Bit of "Hot Totty"!I am going to Give the Chefs some of my Freshly Laid Duck Eggs andask them to do a No. 20 Special!All in All Everthing was Excellent!!!I will be placing a Delivery Order for this Sunday!Val.x aka KindHearted777.

The restaurant came to my home. We had the Sunday roast takeaway obviously, and it was simply fantastic. Everything was there I even bought the chilled wine. Gavi at £10 a bottle I should keep that bit quiet as it was sublime. I could go another 6 months on lockdown easy as long as they stay open. Lol! Joking... but thank you guys. Love this place. Our second visit now and the Cocktails and food are excellent. Service is also outstanding. Highly recommend and we will be returning.

I was supposed to be going with my family for Mother's day lunch but of course this had to be cancelled.However they offered a take away service which my daughter delivered to my doorstep and took theirs home- 5 miles apart.It was great- well packaged, plenty of it and still hot.(And as we remembered last year!)Even included the horseradish sauce. Really cheered us up.When we are all "released" I want to bring all my family- daughters ad granddaughters back for a meal.

We had dinner on a Saturday evening. We got a warm and friendly welcome, loved the decor and think it must be an excellent place to eat in the summer if all the doors are opened. For starters we had the sharing platter, everything was delicious and had generously sized portions. We both had steak main courses. There was a problem with mine but it was resolved quickly and well, no issue. Desserts were perfect - I had pear crumble with raspberry sorbet, followed by an espresso martini. And why not..?Overall, it was an enjoyable evening, I am going to book up with friends for one of their music nights. And maybe a Sunday lunch!

I stayed with my wife’s girlfriend in Lower Kingswood and was pleased to be able to take her out for dinner to No 12 tonight. (My wife texted me to warn me about an evening with a man eater) Great welcome from the staff. Complementary starter of a parsnip soup with truffle oil was nice. A great battered haddock and chips with a carafe of Malbec The menu is great. Super choices of starter and mains but the puddings were predictable The place was empty but the waitress recommended booking for Sunday Lunch as it is so popularRecommended

Great restaurant to have locally, it’s very nice inside and the staff are very friendly.The menu is good there should be something for everyone on it even the fussiest of eaters. The food was very good and my steak was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be going back.

Brilliant evening. Packed tight, but really good. The food was very good, basic for party night but it was a good roast. Definitely go again , none party night.

Was recommended this place and decided to visit. The food was delicious!Each course was amazing, perfect portion sizes and the wine was superb!Staff were friendly and recommended some dishes to us. How lucky we are to have this restaurant on our doorstep. The food is consistently to a very high standard. The lunchtime fixed price menu is excellent value -we had the fish and steak (again) which were freshly cooked and excellent. The whiskey and marmalade creme brûlée was really yummy. Not sure why it is so quiet at lunchtime - why go elsewhere and get frozen/microwaved food that you can get at home when you can go to no 12 and have beautiful food prepared by a highly skilled chef for a similar price?

What's not to like? Delightful staff, delicious food at reasonable cost lovely ambience. We wish no 12 all the very best... it's well deserved!

Went with five to celebrate a family birthday. The decor is modern but spacious. An excellent welcome and a drink at the bar is offered before you sit. The menu is exciting with some clever twists on some classics. The service was impeccable.

I sometimes meet my pals in No12 for lunch because Natalie and her team are so welcoming. Good is always great and kids go free at the moment. Usually do not need to book for lunch but weekends it is essential

A really lovely 3 course meal, very good entertainment and good clean restaurant and bar. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, will be re-visiting soon.

The tribute entertainment was great but unfortunately the set menu was priced at £35 pp with a very small selection. The people on my table struggled to make a selection. It’s a shame because it restaurant is very nicely decorated

Don’t bother, over priced, soggy vegetables, under cooked cold roast potatoes & no vegetarian gravy.

Visited with friends for our monthly catch up. My friend had booked ahead and seen the offer of 20% off which seemed great. Upon arrival my friend notified the waitress of the offer who was not aware of it and said that hey didn’t have an offer running. The manager then said that they would honour the glass of prosecco but not the discount. As it was written in black and white and on the open table website I thought this response was unacceptable. They finally accepted and honoured it but already I was not impressed but all was forgotten.

I was told that this restaurant was good but I was still very surprised by the quality of the food. We had the roast beef platter which was excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service was good but they did take their time clearing the plates. That's the only criticism. Would definitely recommend and return.

Went here with my daughter and family on Mother's day and was absolutely delighted.

Had been recommended to try here a few times for the roast dinner...well it didn’t disappoint. We had the sharing Lamb meal and it was just faultless. So much food and freshly cooked. Lovely restaurant set out too. We also had desserts which were delicious, didn’t really need them but skipped the starter to try to have room.

Was due to lunch at pub just down the road, but due to no power was unable to provide food. However, this restaurant was wonderful. Managed to squeeze our party of 4 in, sunday lunchtime, they were busy. Staff were very professional, helpful and pleasant.

It was refreshing to find a good quality bar/ restaurant with some atmosphere. On arrival we decided to have a drink at the bar.. ‘glass of bubbles and a dirty martini please’ , sorry sir we have no olives?

Last Sunday my wife and I visited this restaurant staffed by very helpful folk. We had the beef sharing platter which was beyond words, fabulously cooked and so many dishes. I started with the eel soup which was 110% above expectations. We shall return very soon.

Having a surprise Birthday Party! This is the place to do it! Awesome Venue.... Great Staff... delicious food! Light spacious ideal for the 80 Guests.... I was the photographer... it was a great evening! Our Birthday Girl had an awesome time.

After coming here with another couple last night (in the hope that the bad service we got last time was a one off) we were hoping for a better experience.

We have visited No. 12 a few times now and the roast dinner on a Sunday has never disappointed. The beef is cooked beautifully, lots of veg, huge yorkshire too. The sharing roasts are a great fature on the menu and excellent value. My bit of advice- go hungry!

I have been here on a couple of occasions and I have never had a bad meal (Sunday Roast) The food is second to none and plenty to go round. I must recommend the bit of everything sharing platter. you defiantly get what you pay for here best Roast in surrey.

I first went to No 12 for a friend's 60th celebrations in November. We had a brilliant night with good food and entertainment from 'Tom Jones'. Unlike a gentleman from the Isle of Wight who obviously doesn't know how to enjoy himself ...my friends and I decided to book for another 60th bday night with 'Luther Vandross' in January. The food is always excellent , the atmosphere is great and the staff brilliant. If however you prefer a quiet sophisticated evening, they can provide that too, but don't go on a party night! I wi be back!

Visited No 12 with friends for a birthday dinner. Second visit to this restaurant. Started with scotch duck egg with curry mayonnaise, delicious flavours. I then had the cod with the most delicious white wine sauce which took the meal to a whole new level. Staff are lovely and will be back at some stage to eat there again.

No12 is ideal for a discrete business lunch. There is a prix fix for each day which represents excellent value. The range of wines and drinks is comprehensive and well priced. Or the à la carte offers a good choice of vegetarian or regular dishes.

Nice food, attentive staff but being a small restaurant it lacked atmosphere, but would recommend for steaks and a get together/catch up with friends.

I was invited along with friends this week to a George Michael Night at number 12.

Food okay, atmosphere nice but why, oh why, did you put some numpty on to sing 60s hits between sets of the (George Michael) tribute singer - totally spoiled the night as far as I am concerned.

We have visited this restaurant for lunch and dinner on a number occasions. Chef is obviously good, great roasts. Service friendly and nice ambience.

My first visit to this place, and I wasn't disappointed...the beef roast dinner was AMAZING. The best i've had in a long time. Beef cooked to taste (medium-rare for me), generous and variety of veg, delish horseradish cream, gravy to die for. We had the sharing platters and there was plenty to go around - and they were quite happy to package up the leftovers to take home.

Title says it all. Absolutely fantastic. Quality food and excellent service. Will definitely return for many more Sunday lunches too

Dined here on a Friday. The 40 ladies celebrating a 60th birthday really kicked up a racket, and their attempts at teenage dancing were embarrassing. Mind you, some of the geriatric males trying to emulate their moves from 1960 were equally dreadful. The cabaret was a portly and podgy Tom Jones, but his singing was OK. Being a Party Night, the menu was limited - the honey roasted duck breast was inedible. This is hardly surprising since they must have produced about 80 of them. I'd go there again to try their proper menu, but never again on a Party Night.

Had a great night at this restaurant. Singer was amazing. Unfortunately the food choices weren’t as good. The choices were very minimal and we all struggled to find anything that we liked. Such a shame is it was a great night

Came here for my husbands 30th with our family after a friend of mine had recommended. The prices are slightly higher than the average place but that is because the ingredients are a high quality. We all cleared our plates ( we had no room for puddings though!) we had the lamb, beef and chicken between us. The potatoes were amazing, the meat cooked to perfection. Couldn’t fault the food at all!

Went to this restaurant with my boyfriend. The staff was so welcoming when we first arrived. Food was amazing and we enjoyed all of the food we had. It was perfectly cook with so much flavour. Great for family, friends and couples. Great atmosphere and lovely service, great night out. I highly recommended!

I've been here before and I'm coming again. The last time I went it was entertainment night and I kept going on about how good the food was to my friends we went for Sunday lunch. We have been a bit bored of croydon's restaurant quarter so we decided to try more local restaurants to us. We ordered the big sharing platters of roast lamb and chicken. The portions are more than generous and worth the price for the quality of meat, large Yorkshire, parsnips, kale, roast potatoes, and the rest. Bloody good gravy and enough for everyone (nothing worse when someone has more gravy than you). It was busy in there but good atmosphere and the staff were really friendly and helpful, none of that waiting ages when you ask for stuff. We didn't manage to have dessert this time because we stuffed our faces. We are planning to go back again soon.

We went on a Sunday and were fortunate enough to sit outside as the weather was lovely and warm.

Bright and well decorated restaurant. Very clean. Food is amazing. We have been for many occasions and it never fails to impress. Sunday Roast to beat any other around. Intimate meal for 2 was wonderful and you feel very special.

Took my mum and her friend here for roast dinner. We are regulars. It's never disappointed! Lovely service amazing food and great for any occasion :)

Some friends who have recently moved to the neighbourhood were very enthusiastic about No12 so my wife and I tried it yesterday with high hopes but left quite disappointed. We selected their signature Cote de Boeuf which far from being medium rare was over cooked and not at all tender, accompanied by tasteless frozen chips. Our waitress readily offered us an alternative so we had hamburgers instead, which sadly were overdone too. With a nice bottle of claret the bill was £110. We won’t be hurrying back there.

We had an outstanding meal last night at this restaurant with excellent service and nice ambiance. My wife is also lactose intolerant and they were knowledgeable and helpful with this which is,I am afraid, very unusual. I had Octopus and brown shrimps as a starter which was full of flavors , whilst my wife had the ham hock croquettes which was excellent. We followed this with an excellent trout for my wife whilst I gorged myself on pork with black pudding and apple sauce that was full of traditional tastes.Unusually for these times, this restaurant also serves a mise en bouche before your meal and a chocolate with the bill. These little touches make an excellent meal even more enjoyable.

What a find this place is. Wonderful meal, and such friendly and helpful staff. I can’t wait for another excuse to have a celebration and return to this fabulous restaurant.

Wednesday lunchtime (business lunch), was quiet, we had pick of the seats and opted for outside dining on the sunny terrace. Service was very good, presentation and quality good and portion size was also good. While the wider menu was available, we opted for set menu as the choice was good; 5 or so options for each course.

Had a very enjoyable evening with friends All our dishes were great and could not fault the food nor the service. Would recommend. Have a nice bar area at front of restaurant Worth a visit

We were recommended No. 12 by 'foodie friends' and we had a fabulous meal. The starter was an excellent plan and crayfish cocktail. For mains we had the cote de boeuf - med rare was delicious - well worth the 45 minute wait - but order it as soon as you are seated at the table or before at the bar. The fish courses were very tasty. The only thing not perfect was the white wine - not chilled enough and then not put in an ice bucket. We'll certainly be back.

The sharing Sunday plates are fantastic. The beef was really good quality and cooked to perfection. All the trimmings where great, the restaurant was packed. That says it all, we will return on a Saturday night to give that a try.

I never write reviews but for some reason I feel I should pass on my thanks to the restaurant. It’s our second time visiting no12 restaurant for Sunday lunch. We took our mum and Dad for there 40th wedding anniversary, which included 4 children under 5. The food and staff are exceptional, they all seem happy, friendly and nothing was to much for them. The Sunday roasts to share are generous in size and amazing value for money. Under 3 eat for free, which is a bonus! And again bigger than an adult portion! The restaurant was packed ( which is always a good sign) and the atmosphere was great! It is noisy which was fine with us, just proves everyone is having a good time but might not suit everyone. There are large family groups/tables which you can also tell have been before and returned because of the great welcoming service. One of the things I also like about this restaurant is that it isn’t a chain and is a local restaurant which gives off such a buzz. My mum and Dad loved it. We will definitely be returning .

This was our first visit to No.12 and we were not disappointed. Great food, great service and a 20% discount as we dined early. The live music was really good and it was nice to be able to sit in the bar area once we had finished our meal. We will definitely be back.

Went to this restaurant for Sunday lunch. Service and Menu were very good, and my only complaint - which I don't think can be rectified - is the noise - obviously everyone talking away and enjoying themselves, but it was so loud that you cannot have a full conversation without shouting! A shame as it spoilt the visit. Otherwise the food was good (especially the roast potatoes!),

We visited number 12 on a few occasions when it first opened as a couple both weekdays and Sundays and inviting family.

It is my second time visiting the UK with my partner and we had the chance to meet our friends and family. I was not yet sure of the set-up and the location cause it was my first time to visit the area and this restaurant but I was still feeling excited. When we got in, we received the welcome drinks (cold sparkling!) and got assisted to our table. The set-up and the atmosphere was just amazing! It was my first time celebrate New Year like that as I always celebrate it inside the house and not like in this wonderful restaurant. There was a lovely singer serenaded us the entire night. We had the tasting menu at a reasonable price. The incredibly talented chef Jason visited us at our table to make sure that everything was great. And yes it was superb! We all loved everything in the menu specially the cauliflower soup with truffle and the steak was perfectly cooked! Gosh! I want to have those again please! There was of course a fireworks display and we continued dancing till the restaurant closed. What an everlasting memory! Thank you very much!

We booked this restaurant last minute, although the price per head for the New Years Eve taster menu looked a bit pricey (£110) we decided you only live once so went for it. There were 9 of us, including 2 children (12 & 13). Very kindly we were told we didn't have to pay for the children and that they could have a few dishes off the taster menu. This consisted of 7 courses, 9 if you include the bubbly on arrival and the petit fours. How glad we are that we found this little gem, lots of glasses of bubbly on arrival, we sat at the bar for a while, then were shown to our table, a lovely round one in the corner, how nice to be able to sit and see everyone that your are with not just the people sitting beside and opposite you. The food was amazing, all seven courses, the children were given a few of the choices but bigger portions, the staff were attentive, always on hand and very friendly and looked like they were happy to be there, even though it was New Years Eve. The price included a live singer and fireworks at midnight. Such a fantastic atmosphere, the singer was brilliant and really set the scene for a great night, We danced, we sang and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious I will DEFINITELY be going back. Thank you for one of the best New Year Eve parties I have been to.

I've been here a few times now, and I must say I love the place. Great staff and great food. I love that we can sit at the bar area and enjoy a few cocktails. We were recommended to come here for its Sunday Roasts and we were not disappointed.

Originally booked for 2 it was my wife' birthday and our son joined us at short notice this was not a problem. Ne bar area to have a drink before the meal which didn't disappoint. Trying a few sips of wine before choosing wasn't an issue. However we wanted a whole bottle rose prosecco this wasn't available so that's how popular it was.

We ate here one mid-week evening, and were disappointed given some of the reviews we’d read on TripAdvisor.

I'm not a local to kingswood but have been to this restaurant a couple of times now for Sunday roast with the family, new years and most recently with friends and no.12 entertainment night. Set menu with a great selection to choose from. Nice size restaurant that has a nice bubbly atmosphere...a lot of happy people in this place. The food is such great quality I had the salmon mousse with salmon caviar to start and oh my god melt in your mouth lamb shoulder with truffle barley, and for dessert...licking my lips, chocolate and hazelnut mousse with honeycomb ice cream. The portion sizes are very very generous, but it's worth powering through each course as you won't be disappointed (you can always have salad and wear elasticated pants the next day).

Visited on a busy Friday night 3 weeks before Christmas, as a multi-generational family. Booked a few days ahead and got an early table (7.00) which was for the best as the place was full by 7.45.

What a great place. We visited with friends who had been previously and had raved about it, and they were right to do so. Lovely cocktails, great food and service. Highly recommend the black pudding starter, it just explodes with flavour in your mouth. Super service. Great wine. Great cocktails. Lovely tasty food. Good selection of Gin!

We booked late and managed to get a table for 8.30pm. Arrived by 8.15pm for a cocktail. Whilst waiting other people arrived and where seated before us. We finally managed to get our table and place our order. Starters arrive and tasted very yummy. However, our mains ( 3 Steaks and 1 Lamb) took FOREVER. well over an 1.5hrs. The Manager offered us another bottle of wine. When our steaks did arrive they were very good and cooked perfectly. The Manager was very apologetic about our long wait and poor service. She gave us 2 vouchers for meals for 2. Which was very nice. Perhaps money off on the night may have been better.

Saturday Night: a full restaurant, an excellent meal. I could have eaten a large bowl of the rum & raisin ice cream on it's own! Two of the party had beefburgers, which kept them quiet and which they thoroughly enjoyed. A lovely bottle of Prosecco to start the evening with. The Smoked Ham Hock Croquettes were to die for as a starter, perfectly seasoned. A lovely touch to bring out a cake for the girls' birthday. All round excellence for money. I have to add that staff are great, very friendly and welcoming, especially Natasha. Compared to some in the area, No 12 has the best staff. The only downside, personally speaking, was the noise in the restaurant all evening to the point I awoke with a sore throat the next morning due to a strained voice with making myself heard! Shame, it let it down slightly, but still highly recommend.

We visited this restaurant with family and enjoyed the atmosphere and service but not the food. Starters my wife's whitebait was cold, my prawn and chorizo cassoulet was bland. To be followed by a further cold meal of lamb. I would have eaten this if the meat was more tender. Our plates were hot a pity that the food was not. A shame as our sons and his partners meal was fine. I would not have posted this had the manager apologised, all the other waiting staff were brilliant and kept apologising, not a word from her. Perhaps she felt I was a complainer, wrong the majority of my reviews are positive.

I already this restaurant on FB but it was so fantastic I felt it deserved my time to be reviewed again here. Not one thing is this restaurant let's me down now it's so much better than it used to be. Delicious 😋

As always excellent. Prices are very reasonable and top quality produce. Great place for lunch or good place for dinner...
