We were there at pre-lunch time. It was possible to order dinner without any problems. The food was tasty, nicely presented. The place is nice and cozy. Good, attentive service. We were very pleased to find this place. Because we were looking for a place where we could eat my favorite pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. We found it. I ate it. I will come back again🙂😃💯

This is a special venue! It offers a unique dining experience, a warm welcome and excellent service (by Lucy and the owner), exquisite food (tiger prawns, seabass and sticky toffee pudding), in a stylish and relaxed environment. We'll be back soon!

Probably the best dinner I've had in Reigate in the last 12 months. Went for dinner with 7 friends at Cullenders last night (Friday). What an absolutely fantastic experience. The food was top notch with generous portions. I had the beetroot tartare, the delicious guinea fowl and a huge cheese board with lots of British cheeses. But best of all the service was attentive but not overbearing and we never felt rushed. The new owner, Raj, was great with us - recommending a wine pairing for the delicious guinea fowl and generally keeping us informed and entertained. We all had a great time and will definitely be back. Thank you Raj and team.

My friend and I popped in after being in another cafe that was freezing! Neither of us knew Parkside previously but it was warm, pretty, and we got a friendly greeting from all of the staff. We were both really happy and it got even better from there. We ordered the lemon and orange cake and coffee - both were excellent - and our waitress checked on us more than once. She was a delight. From now on when I am in Reigate, I am coming here!

I phoned in advance to extend the booking to a 2 hour slot as the online booking time is 1.15 hours, this was no problem. The food was delicious, the service was quick and staff were attentive. Plenty of GF options. I’d recommend the sweet potato, halloumi, puy lentil and pomegranate dish, it was very flavoursome and filling.

This was our first visit to Parkside and from the time we entered the restaurant we felt very welcome. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious 😋 and we will be returning to sample other dishes off the menu

Nice little place, a little echoey, but very friendly service. Was initially going to have the breakfast but no beans, not even as an extra, very disappointing. I opted for the pancakes instead. The food came quickly, nice presentation, unfortunately though (possibly due to the size, enormous) all three were very stodgy, so much so I only ate round the edges. When the bill came, a bit or a surprise as I had been charged extra for the bacon and maple syrup, even though on the menu it said „swap for“, no mention of a cost associated. Something that I was a little uncomfortable with as well at the end server made a point of showing the tip page on the card machine and asking me to „choose how much I’d like to give“. Worth a try by all means, but it’s not for me, I won’t be returning.

Great evening at Parkside - superb food! The tartare was spot on across spice, saltiness, etc. I had the guinea fowl which was hearty and amazing, no need for sides. Really enjoyed our dinner, first time since the takeover and definitely will be back.

Very accommodating when booking a table and pre ordering their chateaubriand offer. Customer service was amazing from first being welcomed into the restaurant through to dinner service and exit. Food was very well cooked, extremely tasty and presented very well. The ambiance was and space was perfect. Staff all very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

This was our first visit to Parkside since its new owners took over, and it was outstanding. The steak tartare was as good as I’ve eaten anywhere and the sea bass was absolutely delicious. It’s so important that our town continues to be a place where independent businesses can thrive and I hope that more people give the boring chain restaurants a miss in favour of Parkside. Thank you to Raj and the team, we’re looking forward to coming back!

My fiancée and I went here for dinner last Saturday evening when they had just reopened. The food, service and ambience were first class. The Chateaubriand was fabulous, paired with an excellent bottle of wine. I highly recommend a visit.

Website states it’s open till 3pm, we got there at 1:55pm and was told the kitchen closes at 2pm and were politely refused service. Not the best of experiences, please make opening hours more clear on your website and shop front. However giving potential repeat customers the grace of 5 minutes would have been reasonable.

We’ve been to Cullenders for brunch before (which is always good), so we decided to try it for dinner. Food was delicious (the steak was perfect), and the atmosphere was great. Looking forward to going back for more delicious dinners.

Cullenders always reliably superb with wonderful service and a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. The food and coffee were excellent.

Cullenders Parkside is a beautiful bistro opposite Priory Park in Reigate. They offer something a bit different to the usual restaurant chains and the service is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.

Really good…I mean really solid cooking here. Reigate has been saturated with the big chain restaurants of late which is ok but as someone in the industry understanding what it’s like at present will always try the stand alone dining, family run eateries over the previous. Warmly greeted with a glass of fizzy rose each. Steak tartare jumped out at me on the menu as soon as the menus were presented, working at the Savoy I know how this should be correctly seasoned and mixed and it was very, very good. Slow cooked Braised Beef Short rib for mains with a silky soft Parmesan polenta, rich red wine jus and much needed savoy cabbage for main course, served on the bone, perfectly cooked and portion size bang on. Sides of French beans and truffle Parmesan fries were needed and cooked as good as they could be. Dessert was a burnt basque cheese cake and berry compote which also was really good. Service impeccable, such a solid piece of cookery from the kitchen, definitely would recommend and be returning soon.

Love Cullenders. Food is great and the service really friendly and efficient. Today, we were disappointed that our favourite lunch dish was off the menu – they were amazing and put together an adaptation for us, which was delicious.

Cullenders manages to get the right balance between high quality dining out and a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The standard of food is high, the prices are incredibly good value and the staff are so friendly, always taking the time to show a genuine interest in you, but without being intrusive. We have dined here a few times and the dinner setting for a special occasion is unrivalled in the area in our opinion. We had the prawns and steak tartar to start. The prawns are genuinely the best I've ever had, everything works perfectly together. We then had the halibut and ox cheeks for main and again, both meals were delicious. The ox cheeks were so tender they fell apart. Delicious! We were a bit slow to discover Cullenders, however it has fast become our favourite restaurant in the local area. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

After seeing so many positive reviews on the local Reigate page, my partner decided to treat us this evening for a belated valentine's meal. It was absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to go back! I wish we had gone sooner! The main for me was the star of the show, I had the beef short rib and it was fantastic and full of flavour. I didn't want it to end. The service was fabulous, very friendly and attentive. Thank you guys for an amazing evening. Well worth every penny for such top quality tasting food and 10/10 service! X

Where you can find genuine and absolutely delicious breakfast , brunch meals. All of them freshly cooked, my favourite avacado benedict.. i have tried other meals as well .. parkside burger , mushroom toast , steak sandwich. They are absolutely tasty altough (humbly my thoughts burger and steak might be better by special souces, pepper mix gravy, mayo based souce maybe.. ) i wrote advices because as i see genuine chefs working in Cullanders , cheers

Had a very tasty breakfast this morning at Cullenders. The food was superb, fresh & local. I had the Reigate Full English. Delicious. My friend really enjoyed the banana pancakes. Such a relaxed and 'feel at home' atmosphere. Very friendly and welcoming staff. My favourite Reigate restaurant.

We had a lovely breakfast at Cullenders. Our brioche french toast was delicious and very nicely presented. Loved the cappuccino with real chocolate shavings! Would most definitely return.

A bustling Friday lunchtime but still quick service and excellent food. The halloumi + mushroom burger was delicious with a flavourful mayo inside to add interest. The chicken burger and steak sandwich were also very tasty, and the fries first class. My daughter had the 'kids pancakes' though I now wonder if it was just the dish off the main menu. It was enormous and quite heavy going, a dollop of plain yoghurt would have been a welcome additional touch to cut through the sweetness. Excuse the appalling photograph.

called in for a breakfast a couple of weeks ago- 2nd time I have been here, service not good on either occasion but this was particularly bad - drink ordered and delivered menu brought to table but no order taken as the staff in attendance were more interested in who may be attending the Christmas party than serving.

We've been for brunch several times but finally got round to going for dinner. By far the best place to eat in Reigate. Great food and service. The mushroom arancini was amazing! A must if you're local or visiting Reigate.

Had a great dinner here with friends

We are visiting Cullenders a few times per year and always happy with the quality of food and good/quick service. This time only 4 stars due to too many sauces and chutney in Halloumi and mushroom burger. It overpowered all natural flavours. (I think sauces should be offered on the side) Full English was good as always, but we thought that some wilted spinach would be a superb addition as it lacks green colour. Came back for breakfast after some time and left disappointed: not the same portion sizes and quality. I understand the rise in the cost, but majority of us would happily pay more rather than same price as a year ago but very different portion.

Really enjoyed our visit to Cullenders. Welcoming and great service. Fabulous food! A great evening. I wanted everything on the menu so we will definitely be back! Soon!

Disappointing experience with poor service. We were looking forward to trying Cullenders but were made to wait over 45 minutes just for drinks, and over an hour for food. There was a lack of organisation and the staff looked lost. At one point we asked for an update and a staff member rolled their eyes. They had some big tables to serve but the restaurant wasn’t full, so maybe they were just having a bad day. The decor is nice and the food both looked and tasted good, but unfortunately it was served cold which spoilt the enjoyment.

Amazing food and amazing staff! We revisit all the time. Would highly recommend for dinner as well for tapas.
