Website states it’s open till 3pm, we got there at 1:55pm and was told the kitchen closes at 2pm and were politely refused service. Not the best of experiences, please make opening hours more clear on your website and shop front. However giving potential repeat customers the grace of 5 minutes would have been reasonable.

We’ve been to Cullenders for brunch before (which is always good), so we decided to try it for dinner. Food was delicious (the steak was perfect), and the atmosphere was great. Looking forward to going back for more delicious dinners.

Cullenders always reliably superb with wonderful service and a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. The food and coffee were excellent.

Cullenders Parkside is a beautiful bistro opposite Priory Park in Reigate. They offer something a bit different to the usual restaurant chains and the service is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.

Really good…I mean really solid cooking here. Reigate has been saturated with the big chain restaurants of late which is ok but as someone in the industry understanding what it’s like at present will always try the stand alone dining, family run eateries over the previous. Warmly greeted with a glass of fizzy rose each. Steak tartare jumped out at me on the menu as soon as the menus were presented, working at the Savoy I know how this should be correctly seasoned and mixed and it was very, very good. Slow cooked Braised Beef Short rib for mains with a silky soft Parmesan polenta, rich red wine jus and much needed savoy cabbage for main course, served on the bone, perfectly cooked and portion size bang on. Sides of French beans and truffle Parmesan fries were needed and cooked as good as they could be. Dessert was a burnt basque cheese cake and berry compote which also was really good. Service impeccable, such a solid piece of cookery from the kitchen, definitely would recommend and be returning soon.

We had such a lovely evening. The food and wine were delicious. Service friendly and attentive. The atmosphere across the restaurant had a general buzz of people enjoying themselves. I would recommend Cullenders Parkside for any occasion.

Love Cullenders. Food is great and the service really friendly and efficient. Today, we were disappointed that our favourite lunch dish was off the menu – they were amazing and put together an adaptation for us, which was delicious.

Cullenders manages to get the right balance between high quality dining out and a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The standard of food is high, the prices are incredibly good value and the staff are so friendly, always taking the time to show a genuine interest in you, but without being intrusive. We have dined here a few times and the dinner setting for a special occasion is unrivalled in the area in our opinion. We had the prawns and steak tartar to start. The prawns are genuinely the best I've ever had, everything works perfectly together. We then had the halibut and ox cheeks for main and again, both meals were delicious. The ox cheeks were so tender they fell apart. Delicious! We were a bit slow to discover Cullenders, however it has fast become our favourite restaurant in the local area. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

After seeing so many positive reviews on the local Reigate page, my partner decided to treat us this evening for a belated valentine's meal. It was absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to go back! I wish we had gone sooner! The main for me was the star of the show, I had the beef short rib and it was fantastic and full of flavour. I didn't want it to end. The service was fabulous, very friendly and attentive. Thank you guys for an amazing evening. Well worth every penny for such top quality tasting food and 10/10 service! X

Where you can find genuine and absolutely delicious breakfast , brunch meals. All of them freshly cooked, my favourite avacado benedict.. i have tried other meals as well .. parkside burger , mushroom toast , steak sandwich. They are absolutely tasty altough (humbly my thoughts burger and steak might be better by special souces, pepper mix gravy, mayo based souce maybe.. ) i wrote advices because as i see genuine chefs working in Cullanders , cheers

Just had a burger for Lunch. Absolutely the best burger I have had in Reigate. Onion Jam was exceptional. Great place, great service, great food!

I often have breakfast here. The staff are friendly and happy. I see lots of groups meet here. The food is very good and delicious. I pop in for a takeaway coffee as it's great. Definitely worth a visit

Had a very tasty breakfast this morning at Cullenders. The food was superb, fresh & local. I had the Reigate Full English. Delicious. My friend really enjoyed the banana pancakes. Such a relaxed and 'feel at home' atmosphere. Very friendly and welcoming staff. My favourite Reigate restaurant.

Fabulous quality, great value for money for a variety of dishes

We had a lovely breakfast at Cullenders. Our brioche french toast was delicious and very nicely presented. Loved the cappuccino with real chocolate shavings! Would most definitely return.

A bustling Friday lunchtime but still quick service and excellent food. The halloumi + mushroom burger was delicious with a flavourful mayo inside to add interest. The chicken burger and steak sandwich were also very tasty, and the fries first class. My daughter had the 'kids pancakes' though I now wonder if it was just the dish off the main menu. It was enormous and quite heavy going, a dollop of plain yoghurt would have been a welcome additional touch to cut through the sweetness. Excuse the appalling photograph.

Annabel is the best waitress I have ever had and would love to have her again. She is friendly and the service was outstanding.

called in for a breakfast a couple of weeks ago- 2nd time I have been here, service not good on either occasion but this was particularly bad - drink ordered and delivered menu brought to table but no order taken as the staff in attendance were more interested in who may be attending the Christmas party than serving.

We've been for brunch several times but finally got round to going for dinner. By far the best place to eat in Reigate. Great food and service. The mushroom arancini was amazing! A must if you're local or visiting Reigate.

We are visiting Cullenders a few times per year and always happy with the quality of food and good/quick service. This time only 4 stars due to too many sauces and chutney in Halloumi and mushroom burger. It overpowered all natural flavours. (I think sauces should be offered on the side) Full English was good as always, but we thought that some wilted spinach would be a superb addition as it lacks green colour. Came back for breakfast after some time and left disappointed: not the same portion sizes and quality. I understand the rise in the cost, but majority of us would happily pay more rather than same price as a year ago but very different portion.

Disappointing experience with poor service. We were looking forward to trying Cullenders but were made to wait over 45 minutes just for drinks, and over an hour for food. There was a lack of organisation and the staff looked lost. At one point we asked for an update and a staff member rolled their eyes. They had some big tables to serve but the restaurant wasn’t full, so maybe they were just having a bad day. The decor is nice and the food both looked and tasted good, but unfortunately it was served cold which spoilt the enjoyment.

Amazing food and amazing staff! We revisit all the time. Would highly recommend for dinner as well for tapas.

We went for breakfast - whilst the setting is nice the portions are tiny -teeny slices of toast and when I asked for tomatoes with my eggs I received 1/2 a tomato. Coffee was good though. If you cut portion size in this manner repeat custom will reduce .

Gorgeous little restaurant with lovely staff and great food. They have the classics on the menu but also do new dishes with traditional ingrediants like the brisket on crumpets I enjoyed today.

I had a wonderful evening with my friend last night. Marc was so welcoming, fun and lovely from the get-go! Really attentive and able to discuss food options and listened to our preferences. The food was exquisite - I had calamari and the skate. A great warm, friendly atmosphere - thoroughly recommend!

Great place for a family brunch. The food is all very tasty and the atmosphere is relaxed and buzzy. The staff were very accommodating and friendly to our two small children and dog - including adapting dishes for little appetites. We had great service from Iris. Definitely plan to come back again.

Had a lovely lunch here. The setting is perfect relaxed and informal but really fab decor. The staff where attentive but not intrusive, warm & friendly. The coffee was great. Had the steak, focaccia sandwich with fries. Creamed spinach side too which was delicious. Only 2 little niggles could of done with a steak knife . Also the emmental cheese wasn’t melted, to be fair the sandwich was only just warm so maybe that’s why the cheese wasn’t melted. Will def be back to try other items on the menu .

Quite noisy, more cafe than restaurant

I went to this place while looking for a good place to have breakfast near Gatwick Airport. It was nice to be greeted so kindly, and the food was all delicious!

Love this cafe/restaurant in Reigate. Excellent food - I recently had the mushrooms on toast followed by banana pancakes, both plant-based. Would highly recommend. Dog friendly.

Service was fair but were not told that closed at 3pm at any point even when booking so did not get coffee after our meal as had wanted

Excellent brunch last Sunday. I had the brisket on a muffin which was delicious and my son had the pancakes which were a treat. Brilliant service and a nice space to enjoy 😊

I love Cullenders for a treat, especially pancakes for Sunday brunch . The coffee is good, and they make hands down the best bacon sandwich in the county. It's got a nice atmosphere, more up-market than a cafe but a bit more relaxed than a typical restaurant.

We adore cullenders and eat there as regularly as we can both for girls brunches/lunches and also family meals or date nights. It is by far the best food in Reigate and so lovely it is an independent. We went last week for my birthday and had a fabulous meal I had chicken Milanese and my husband had the chicken burger and my brother the beef burger all of which were superb. The service is great and the atmosphere always so cosy and inviting, keep up the great work and thank you

Watched the chef pick the sausages out of the fryer with his bare hands , then on to handle several poached eggs also with the same unwashed hands, lets hope no vegetarians were brunching this morning

Disappointing. We Booked our table in advance for 14:00. However, upon arrival were immediately informed that the kitchen was closing and could I order immediately, making us feel rushed. Furthermore, throughout the meal people kept walking in and asking to be seated, as the restaurant advertises that they are open until 15:00. My wife ordered the dish with avocados, which were brown (meaning they were old) and had an overpowering taste of lime (used to mask the age), which resulted the dish being inedible! I had to send back my oyster mushroom dish back as they overcooked my egg. However, it was fine when it was returned. We informed the waitress of the issue with the avocado at the end and left thereafter, deciding not to order dessert, feeling very underwhelmed. To note, the serving staff were generally polite and the restaurant was clean.

I have to say, Cullenders was one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in a very long time. Lovely setting, AMAZING food, good wine and great service! Thanks Cullenders!

I ordered a fishcake with samphire which was quite nice. Service was very friendly. I would have ordered a side dish if I had known the size of the mains. However it was sufficient.

Fantastic dinner at Cullender’s! I had the halloumi & sweet potato salad, and also tried the chicken Milanese. The combination of flavors were outstanding, like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. Also you have to try the authentic margaritas!

Had an excellent meal here last week. My friend said it was the best pork belly he’d ever had! I enjoyed a first class crab risotto and a glass of white Rioja - divine. Staff were great and atmosphere was buzzy. So good I’ve booked to take my family later this week.

My favourite place in Reigate be it day or evening! Fantastic breakfast/brunch offering and also a lovely place to pop in for a coffee. Always made to feel very welcome by the lovely staff. Wonderful atmosphere in the evenings, perfect for any occasion. The food is always beautifully presented and tastes absolutely delicious. I love the arancini balls and the pork belly dish! Great choice of wines too and they make an amazing espresso martini. I can’t wait to go back!

I go here regularly mainly for breakfast. The best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had! Also the evening service when I can make it is amazing. Probably the nicest food in Reigate
