Excellent!! We had the Avocado Smash Bagel and enjoyed it immensely. Everyone was cheerful and helpful. So happy to have found a plant based coffee shop in the area. Looking forward to our next visit.

Cálida bienvenida del chef George que cocinó algo de comida fantástica para nosotros. Este pequeño café es una joya, con comida maravillosa, recién cocinada, deliciosa.

Can't comment on the hotel but the restaurant is phenomenal. Ordered two espresso martinis which were divine. Then ordered a beef wellington and the fillet of steak. Both beautifully cooked and delicious. So rich and good portion sizes. The food really is impeccable. I want to return already. The service was also really good. My only negatives were service was pretty slow. 1h and 45mins for a main and cocktail. And the waiter also brought out the wrong wine. I asked for the Italian red and he seemed confused and brought out the house. Please bring over the wine list in future and I can point it out.

This was our second visit to the Black Horse. On both occasions we were really impressed with the quality of the food. The pub is in a lovely area and is extremely comfortable and pleasant. A huge shout out to the staff as well who were so warm and friendly

Servicio lento terrible. Llevo aquí 40 minutos y todavía no hay comida. Escaso conocimiento de alergia alimentaria. Mucho personal escondido detrás del mostrador. Estamos en peligro de perder nuestra franja horaria de exposición. No recuerdes que fue así antes. Necesita a alguien a cargo para administrar el servicio.

Nuestra experiencia en este restaurante fue algo decepcionante. La bienvenida inicial estaba bien, con abrigos tomados y asientos rápidos, y servicio de agua. Sin embargo, se produjo una espera significativa antes de que se tomara nuestra orden de bebidas, y nos sorprendió encontrar que el único vino blanco disponible era italiano, ya que todas las variedades españolas no estaban disponibles. Esta falta de elección fue particularmente decepcionante dada la ocasión. No se ofrecieron aperitivos en ningún momento. Después de otros cuarenta minutos de espera, tuvimos que solicitar que se tomara nuestro pedido de comida. Pedimos siete platos de tapas, pero solo seis fueron servidos. Adicionalmente, a diferencia de muchos otros restaurantes de tapas, no se proveía pan y había que solicitarlo a £ 4 : 95 para una canasta pequeña. Nos visitó numerosas veces una mujer con chaqueta roja, tal vez el gerente, que, a pesar de los platos claramente vacíos en nuestra mesa, no hizo nada para preguntar si necesitábamos ayuda. Se aseguró de que las mesas estuvieran muy, muy limpias. Durante toda la comida circulaba constantemente, rociando mesas y rellenando vasos de agua, a menudo innecesariamente. Hubiera sido preferible una jarra de agua para cada mesa. El restaurante no hizo ningún esfuerzo discernible para reconocer que era el día de San Valentín, aparte de algunos corazones de papel que restaron aún más valor a la experiencia. Si bien la comida en sí era buena, no justificaba los precios cobrados, incluso teniendo en cuenta las disculpas, y algunos artículos con descuento. Un funcionario se disculpó mucho por el servicio que recibimos, insistiendo en que fue un hecho inusual y no representativo de sus estándares habituales. En general, el servicio no cumplió con las expectativas, y es poco probable que regresemos.

Decor/decorum was nice. Staff were nice enough.. Came in early evening with a couple of tables already inside. Food was okay but no wow factor to it. Didn’t think prices of items reflected what we got. They forgot an item that we ordered but gave us another item that we didn’t instead, so perhaps a mix up there. No check back to see how our meal was/for us to get another drink. Chorizo, calamari, mushrooms, a side salad with a med wine and bottle of beer with service charge came just shy of £60.. which I’m in two minds about, If it was worth it based on the overall visit. Overall experience was okay but wouldn’t go back in a hurry based on experience but perhaps a one off.

Really friendly people here. Food and drink were excellent. Stayed one night. Room was brilliant - love the breakfast! Highly recommend. Community pub - we need more like this!

Three of us had a wonderful lunch at East Street Bar and Grill restaurant yesterday. It was a special occasion, as one of us had a special birthday to be celebrated. As the birthday girl was the last to arrive we had the chance to tell Anthony, a most attentive and professional waiter, why we were all there. After a delicious lunch, Anthony arrived with a plate inscribed with her name in chocolate icing, a slice of cake with candles, and a scoop of ice cream. What a lovely surprise, and so very much appreciated. Thank you Anthony, and thank you East Street. Should also mention that the Maitre’d, Phillip, is also hugely attentive and professional. Definitely the place to go in Petworth.

Excellent food. The burgers are amazing. Good range of beers and great garden.

A small deli with seats inside and out and really enjoyed our food - a New Yorker bagel ( pastrami, sauerkraut and gherkin mayonnaise) which was top notch and a gluten free tuna mayo sandwich made with soft gluten free bread. Good choice of hot and cold drinks. Friendly staff. Would return.
