Excellent!! We had the Avocado Smash Bagel and enjoyed it immensely. Everyone was cheerful and helpful. So happy to have found a plant based coffee shop in the area. Looking forward to our next visit.

Fui a la Feria de Arte Sussex en Goodwood ayer. En busca de comida, y se encontró con que The Pass estaba ejecutando el restaurante como un pop-up. Qué descubrimiento fantástico. Hemos disfrutado de The Pass en Chichester durante años, y la comida siempre fue excelente. Pero aquí tuvimos una comida de dos platos. El entrante de carne de res curada con treacle negro fue brillante, mi panza de cerdo con papas asadas y frijoles (que realmente sabían a frijoles) fueron increíbles. Definitivamente lo mejor que he probado, la verdad. Precios muy buenos, hermosas vistas sobre los bajos. Espero que esto se repita año tras año. Bien hecho Phil y todo el equipo. Muy impresionado.

I had an exceptional dinner at The Purchases earlier this week. After a long, draining day, I walked in running on fumes—but was treated with warmth, professionalism, and just the right amount of indulgence. The service made me feel like a valued guest—if not quite royalty, then at least someone worth slowing down for. The Food? Immaculate. The Atmosphere? Spot on. I even left my coat in the cloakroom and came back the next day to collect it with zero hassle. Classy from start to finish.

Este café es ideal para Al fresco y almuerzo interior. Podíamos oírnos hablar. El servicio fue amable y eficiente y la comida y las bebidas eran deliciosas imaginativas y bellamente presentadas.

Decor/decorum was nice. Staff were nice enough.. Came in early evening with a couple of tables already inside. Food was okay but no wow factor to it. Didn’t think prices of items reflected what we got. They forgot an item that we ordered but gave us another item that we didn’t instead, so perhaps a mix up there. No check back to see how our meal was/for us to get another drink. Chorizo, calamari, mushrooms, a side salad with a med wine and bottle of beer with service charge came just shy of £60.. which I’m in two minds about, If it was worth it based on the overall visit. Overall experience was okay but wouldn’t go back in a hurry based on experience but perhaps a one off.

My partner and I popped into the bluebell whilst walking the South Downs on Sunday 13th April. Very friendly staff, great food and beer at sensible prices. What a breath of fresh air! Will certainly go back.

The Interior was very nice and good layout but the service was the worst I have had for a while. My partner and I went there for Valentines day on the Saturday, I had to call multiple times to check that they had taken our pre order down and each time we called they weren't sure or said no and then would call us later with a different answer. It was very unorganised. We waited 15 minutes for a drinks menu then we had to ask for one. Then waited 40 minutes for our drinks, that we had to ask to order. Our starters ended coming out before our drinks. I had to ask for my complimentary bread roll with my main as this never came. My partner asked for another drink and the waiter huffed at us and we asked if he was okay and he said 'its been a busy weekend'. I understand this but you don't huff at your customers. We felt like we where a problem to them and an inconvenience. Unfortunately we are local and would have gone again with family but we have been put off by this and wont return for the service but the food was very nice. Thank god for the food tasting good otherwise we would have walked out.

A small deli with seats inside and out and really enjoyed our food - a New Yorker bagel ( pastrami, sauerkraut and gherkin mayonnaise) which was top notch and a gluten free tuna mayo sandwich made with soft gluten free bread. Good choice of hot and cold drinks. Friendly staff. Would return.

Give Amelia a huge pat on the back. Absolutely phenomenal service, attentive, funny and friendly. Food was outstanding, brasserie blanc has swiftly become our favourite restaurant, you get so much value for your money and the service is always top-notch. P.s my girlfriend was so very happy she got the spicy margarita recipe 😄
