Varr House at Meadow View in Chichester

I cannot recommend Varr Party House enough. I had the pleasure of organising my friends hen do and the party house was perfect for such an occasion. The location has amazing views, and we were lucky to see a lovely summers sunset over the fields that sit behind the house. The house itself is beautiful with so much to look at inside. The food was sensational, and there was so much on offer for what we paid for it. Jane was absolutely brilliant in keeping in contact and helping me organise the night. On the night, the owner and bar manager both tended to our needs. The bride-to-be and all her hens had a great night and we will be back again at some point!

We recently celebrated our wedding at Varr House, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. John and his team did an outstanding job. From the moment we booked the venue, Jane communicated exceptionally well, responding to my emails promptly and ensuring that nothing was too much trouble. What stood out to us was their flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond to cater to our desires. The location is stunning; every photo we have features a lovely backdrop, making it unnecessary for us to have wedding flowers as the scenery and décor were beautiful on their own. Varr House has a great vibe with a good ambiance and a relaxed feel, making it perfect for our wedding party. We stayed in the accommodation, which was fantastic, and the kids especially loved the hot tub. Both the venue and the accommodation were clean and well-maintained. The food was delicious, and there was plenty of it. The best aspect of Varr House is the staff—they were incredibly attentive, friendly, and hospitable. Our wedding day was perfect, and Varr House certainly knows how to put on a good party. I highly recommend it for any special occasion.

Varr House hosted my 40th 80s glam birthday party, what a night! Perfect service, delicious food, stunning venue, awesome music, what more could you ask for?!

Wir hatten für eine Nacht im B&B gebucht. Der Empfang war sehr nett und warmherzig. Die Zimmer sind grandios eingerichtet, jedes anders, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Alles sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war lecker! John und Ruggero sind zwei super tolle und liebe Gastgeber! Hoffentlich verschlägt es uns mal wieder in diese Gegend, dann kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder!

Would like to say a huge thankyou to all the team at Varr house for looking after us so well at my daughters baby shower, this is our third event held here and we absolutely love it. Such a gorgeous venue and the afternoon tea layout looked stunning and was delicious. Dietary requirements also catered for well. We all had such an amazing time and can’t wait to return again soon.

I had my 50th birthday celebrations at Varr House. There were 17 of us for a sit down meal. Canapes on arrival - then a 3 course meal. It was absolutely fantastic - the room, the ambience, the setting, and of course the food. A good time was had by all. Would highly recommend for a special occasion. The staff couldn't do enough for us throughout the evening.
