Super tender tasty succulent lamb shish in a wrap .. BIG !! Excellent hummus with warm pita bread. Great dips, fresh salad .. 😋 Décor pretty plain .. but you're there for the amazing FOOD !!! Everyone agreed their dish was delish .. ❤️❤️

No wonder this place has such high ratings. We went here on a busy Saturday as my parents rave about the good service & amazing food as well as the generous portions. The manager was incredibly friendly & warm. The portions are some of the most generous I’ve ever come across (esp in London) it’s a great find with delicious food and coffee. Go!

A real hidden gem where the cooking is excellent and precise. A wonderful playlist too! Service is relaxed but informative the cocktails are wonderful. Went for the 7 course menu and each dish packed a punch of flavours. We were able to taste a number of wines before choosing and tbh the passerine was very good indeed. Highly recommend!

Cosy, inviting and very friendly service. Amazing wine list with great options across all continents and price range. Fantastic share food from the kitchen - a small but perfectly fitting menu for a wine bar/kitchen. Will definitely be back.

Reservamos una cena en Buoni Amici antes de un espectáculo en el Shepherd's Bush Empire (a solo 10 minutos a pie). Tuvimos que salir por un momento específico y el servicio era rápido, amable y eficiente.

The lounge was doing a roaring trade in cream teas. I've been before and its excellent. The restaurant had 1 person dinning and 2 tables, other than ours, set up for bookings. 3 course set lunch at £32.95 offering all the roasts. We all had the lamb which was excellent, the vegetables were well cooked. The roast potatoes were rock hard, my fork could bearly break the skin, and my first attempt made it jump of the plate. The Yorkshire Pudding were cooked to death, perhaps days before. We all had the ice cream sundae. The ice cream had not been stored properly and had ice crystals in it, and the brownie was stale, presumably from a left over cream tea. Hawtrey's used to be really good, but looks like it has suffered from the times, with customers walking with their feet. Won't be coming back.

I dived into a robust sourdough loaf with whipped herb noisette, before sharing a salad of courgettes and whipped (there’s a lot of it about) ricotta, sage and rocket salsa verde – so densely green you could almost feel the chlorophyll – and a fabulously satisfying grilled radicchio with broad bean purée and pickled Tropea onions (a super-sweet variety from Calabria)

This place is superb and I can't believe I have never been before given that I've passed it so many times. Quality, style and service. It's actually fantastic value, I have paid a lot more for less. Was easy to park outside for free after 4.30pm too. Loved every single dish and the house wine at a reasonable 8.50 a glass for the non-driver was great too. The décor and atmosphere are cool and relaxed. The service is quick and the flavours superb. If this was in Soho or Mayfair it would be packed and pricier. We will be back for sure!

Great starters. Mains were not as good. My partners steak was unseasoned but cooked perfectly. My twice baked soufflé was milky and a little bland. Salad accompaniment was delicious. Wine was different to expected as a Nebbiolo, a little fizz on the tongue. Service was excellent really professional. Table a little small and tucked under a low part of the ceiling where I hit my head as I stood up. Really nice vibe but we expected more from the mains.

Great authentic portuguese place with excellent food and service! Already my go to place every time I fly out of LHR! Highly recommended!

A great find on the edge of brick lane. Welcoming stop for a late morning coffee. A peaceful location. With nice outside corner. Delightful.

Very nice food, but the service was indifferent at best. We had a voucher for a tasting menu and a free welcome drink. We were never given the drink but didn't want to make a fuss (we were there to enjoy ourselves not to complain) so put up with it. Nobody took our coats or offered to take them. We ordered a bottle of wine and it took ages to come, and they didn't leave it at the table but nobody noticed when my glass empty so i had to ask for my glass to be topped up when it was empty. It wasn't the same year as the one in the menu. They brought the bill before we were finished and didn't ask if we wanted cheese or coffee. At no point did we feel they cared about our experience or what we wanted. It just felt, as i said, indifferent, and not the special occasion it was meant to be. But the food was very good.

We booked a table outside for 5. The weather was very hot, the service was excellent. Various tables were offered if we did not want to sit in the sun. The waiter was excellent noticed the tables he was looking after was very attentive served them very quickly nothing was to much in that heat he was excellent.

Lovely place, lovely food! I enjoy going there. Prices are friendly unlike the competition in Hornchurch with the same surname as reggae singer Bob M……….! Food is better here as well. Staff get to know the customers and always add a personal touch. They know my order as soon as they hear my voice on the phone!

Definitely one of the hot spots in Borough market. This vendor always has a never ending queue for their strawberries. Staff is quick and efficient. The strawberries tasted very good just as is, but with the chocolate coating, it was lovely.
