Wow! Stumbled upon this place in Soho as well were passing through the area. I've eaten these custard 'tarts' in Portugal many times however, the choice of fillings here differed slightly. Regardless, we chose 2 different ones and we're not dissapointed! Super tasty pastry with delicious fillings! If you enjoy Portuguese tarts... Don't hesitate!

We actively sought out this cafe after high recommendations and it lived up to the hype . The pastries are delicious. Coconut was the hilight . Pity seating is so restricted would have been nice to sit and savour . £7.50 for 3 well worth it .

Sehr sehr lecker. Am besten schmecken mir die mit Himbeere.

Cafe de nata is a takeaway cafe which sells homemade pastas de nata. It is situated in the centre of Soho. It also offers a selection of coffees, tea and iced drinks. It is very clean with helpful staff. Payment is by card only. Limited seating inside is available.

Great product. Poor service. If you buy 4 cakes for a total of £8.25 you can not have a bag even of you want to pay for it. And if you want a receipt, you can not have it because they ran out of paper.

Great product, but awful awful experience with the staff, simply rude and awful! I have just visited the store in Soho, I went there three times today and the first two times the classic Natas were cold out, and kept being told to wait 15 minutes. For me to kept on going back and returned to the store to buy them, I am sure you can tell how much I enjoy the products and want to bring it home to share with the family. I appreciate that it’s a busy day today on Easter weekend, however, I have never experience something like this in any retail shops or in any hospitality industry. I was served by a male staff and with dark curly hair. He looks simply fed up and didn’t want to be there, his facial expression shown that people should not be in the store and any customers were an inconvenient to him. As it shows it all on his face. When people asked him questions he rolled his eyes, and very very short tempered. Even when customers asked for a bag, he simply slam it on the table. I appreciate it is a fast moving place, however, manners cost nothing and your customers do not deserved to be treated the way he did to them, rude, abrupt and the worst customer service I have ever experienced and witnessed. When people go and spend their hard Widnes cash, no one should be treated with the way we did.

I stumbled across this little gem years ago after being at the theatre on Shaftsbury Avenue, so when I can I go out of my way to return here. I did this weekend and as ever their pastel de nata are impeccable. They have several delicious flavours to choose from as well as their traditional. I would buy as many as you can carry home! There isn’t much room to sit in but they’re good to eat on the go. Particular favourite is the raspberry, although strawberry, coconut and passion fruit are great too. A must visit if nearby!

Brought one of each flavour as they are my parents favourites. They even offer a vegan option, which they loved also. Defo worth a visit for a quick snack or to take home.

OMG!! We were having breakfast in Soho after a night in London and opposite was Cafe de Nata - just a small shop on a corner but as Portuguese custard tarts are hubby's favourite thing I went over to look..... never seen so many varieties (fruit on top etc) they all looked good but he chose the traditional plain ones, I got a small box for him (5 I think?) and we toddled off home. That afternoon he tried one with coffee and his eyes lit up - absolutely the best he's had in the UK (yep, he's tried a lot - shops, in dependants, farmers markets 🤣) The point was proved when he didn't offer any around! We'll definitely go when back in London. Do try if there's one near you.

Definitely worth a visit! You’ve never had a Pasteis de Nata like this! Creamy still slight warm custard with the flakiest crispiest pastry! Traditional and coconut versions are delicious, add a cup of coffee for a very worthwhile treat!

Who ever tried Pasteis de Belem in Lisbon, knows it's hard to find pasteis as good elsewhere. Well, cafe de nata has them pretty good. And bonus? Vegan version! Slightly sweeter but still really great! Worth a visit.

Made the mistake of going into a cafe where there were no other customers. I think I now know why. Visited the premises in the Square. Latte and croissant, paid immediately by card, lukewarm coffee, stale croissant then on leaving was accused of not paying. They made a check of their records and voila, it seems I had. Quite embarrassing and won’t be back.
