Dovetale in City of London, Westminster

Had a really nice traditional Sunday roast dinner at Dovetale. Portions were large so it was a good value for the price (the meal came with tons of sides). My kids loved the famous Knickerbocker ice cream trolley! The restaurant had good ambience and the staff were attentive. Will definitely come back.

10/10 Had a dinner on a Saturday night, the food was great, very tasty, fresh and hot. Had salad and beef starter which was delicious, for main we had salmon and roasted chicken very fresh with an amazing gravy.Desert portion was very generous and sweet. The experience was unique will definitely be back soon.

Found this restaurant by chance, all staff were very attentive but also friendly and made light, easy conversation. We found the set menu absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and good value for money in such lovely and quiet surroundings. Also very close to Green Park underground station.

Outstanding from start to finish. This was my second visit and was even better than the first. The restaurant already feels like its been there forever. The cooking here is both classic and exciting, this is paired with incredibly informed warm hospitality in the dining room. It really is a spacial place and one we will make sure to visit every time we are in London.

After booking the restaurant for Easter Sunday lunch with family we were really looking forward to the experience . To start with positives : the restaurant is beautiful , vibrant and cosy. The staff are very friendly and professional , service is excellent . We ordered 2 chicken and a beef Sunday roast , presentation was good but sadly the meat was lukewarm , mash was watery and the Yorkshire puddings cold which made them taste greasy, gravy is the consistency of water .. all in all it was very disappointing . We ordered desserts .. again the crumble came with a tiny milk jug of cold watery ‘custard’ when I asked the server for warm custard she said it was supposed to be cold . The crumble tasted okay but without custard it was very dry . At £49 a head for 2 courses .. this meal was almost £200 with service charge . It was such a disappointment and much nicer roasts and desserts in Goucho etc for much less .

Amazing spot for a night out, excellent food selection, high quality food and outstanding staff. Big fan of the coffee based cocktails 😍 Will be back for sure!

I truly enjoy coming to Dovetale. The service is outstanding and the dishes speak for themselves. I really like their Burrata as a starter and also like the variety of salads they offer. Their ice cream for dessert and cocktails round up the experience.

Absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. Ice cream dessert was super , I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. Specially thanks to Manageress, Alex and team. Definitely would go back again family.

Wow what an experience. We went to Dovetale to celebrate my birthday and couldn't have been better looked after. The staff were attentive but not invasive, the food exquisite and the ambiance delightful. Thank you to the whole team for such an enjoyable and indulgent evening.

We had the most amazing meal at Dovetale last night, the staff were so attentive and knowledgable about the food and wine and we were well looked after. The food was outstanding, bursting with delicious flavours and cooked to perfection. Everyone must try their signature Knickerbocker Glory straight from their specially designed cart, so fun!! The upbeat vibe was just the atmosphere we wanted celebrating a birthday.
