The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in St Mary's Islington London

Went to this branch on 25th January 2025, for drinks and all the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return to sample their food menu, which looked very tasty.

Absolutamente fabulosa buena cocina francesa antigua. Mejillones increíbles. Bourg, lubina soberbia. La Creme Brulee más grande que he visto en mucho tiempo. Deliciosa, muy recomendable. .

Muy pequeño y ambiente un poco frío, antipático, perfuctory. Los encurtidos son muy finos, los langostinos y el arenque como entrantes muy poco inspiradores y diminutos. El precio no tanto. Menú de bebidas y menú de comida muy limitado. El lenguado estaba demasiado cocido y cubierto con un poco de salsa blanca congelada. El desierto de fresas tenía un sabor extraño. En general una experiencia decepcionante

What a vibe! Went for dinner on a Saturday and there was at least 4 different birthday celebrations for which staff put on a happy birthday song and come out singing and clapping! And there was a belly dancer for those who enjoy that sort of thing lol food was great too. Service was quick and friendly. Always a good shout.

So sad to learn on arrival that it has closed down.

Oh my god, the best burger I’ve had in my life. Went for the bottomless brunch. Excellent food, excellent drinks and incredible service. I highly recommend.

Only popped in for a coffee and a homemade cake. Very nice. I have been a few times now, but I love the atmosphere and decor. Lots of other things on the menu, which I have tried yet.

I’ve always loved Mem & Laz, I’ve been going here since I was a kid. I couldn’t say the same for this visit though. We had come for a birthday lunch for My mum, the food was alright, I was not happy about being served frozen potatoes. The customer service was appalling, we had waited a while to be served and for our food to come out. The staff were very rude and made us feel uncomfortable at points during our meal. They had also messed up our order and brought the wrong food out. I’ve had better service at a busier dinner service there! At the end of our meal, I had asked for the service charge to be reduced by half, because I didn’t believe that the service that we had received did amount to that price. The staff member was very rude and said that I “had” to pay the service charge by full. I did try to explain that I wasn’t obliged to pay the service charge but the staff member was very argumentative and I didn’t want to cause any unnecessary problems. I’m very disappointed and upset about this, considering that every time I’ve visited mem and laz, it has been such a wonderful experience.

only been there during lunch. Very good mix grill and mix meze. Nice ambience with a touch of class. lunch time normally quiet.
