Lovely meal with friendly staff.

My partner and I popped into plates on the off chance they had space on a Friday night, luckily they had space! we were actually on our way to an Indian restaurant around the corner, and I am so glad we took a chance on plates. They had a set meal (including meat) for £48pp and I must say it was well worth the money! We had to take our food away because it was so much. The flavours were incredible, we loved trying Pani puri- such a fun experience, all of the meat dishes were so tender and delicious. I don't have a bad thing to say! The stand out dishes were the tortilla, chicken curry, greens & paneer, and the rice, poppadoms and naan were better than I have ever tried before! Service was amazing, we loved the personal touch, to be able to speak with the owner & chef. If you have tried plates for brunch, you must try their Indian plates! Incredible- coming from someone who generally is not a fan of Indian food..

From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the venue’s breathtaking charm. The building itself is a stunning piece of history, with intricate details that tell a story in every corner. We were warmly greeted by the attentive staff, who promptly guided us to our table. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The starters set the tone for an incredible dining experience—fresh, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. By the time the mains arrived, we were so eager to dive in that we forgot to take a picture—but trust us, they were just as exceptional. The desserts? Simply out of this world. The ambiance is both authentic and elegant, making it an ideal setting for weddings, birthday celebrations, and special occasions. Plus, there’s plenty of nearby parking and easy access via train. A truly unforgettable experience—we can’t wait to return!

Have been going to F&G since opening . Fabulous coffee and food , staff always friendly. Sadly today's coffee was the 1st time I've been disappointed. Ordered my usual - coconut Cappuccino take away. No froth and coffee far too hot and a slightly burnt taste , so couldn't drink it . Am sure and hoping this was a one off as usually a delight 🤞

Well stocked wine shop with knowledgeable and friendly staff, and they do great wine tasting events sometimes too. The deli serves lovely hams & cheeses, homemade cake and coffee. But what I like most about this place is its friendly, personalised service. Dallings is an absolute gem and serves the village community very well.

We ordered from “Crystal Mangal” which is what they are now called, you can find them via google maps but wanted to spread the word here too. Great doner kebab, we’ve not had one this good recently and the kebab is served with the salad to the side and you can order sauces separately. Really good quality taste and chunky slivers of doner meat. Highly recommend.

Order came very fresh and delicious and came before time loved it

Very slow service and over pretentious food in tiny portions. We had to wait over an hour for food to be delivered and when it was it was the smallest amount of food you can imagine. Also the food was not up to the standard the menu thinks it is.

Came here on an offer (great value) to celebrate three family birthdays. Will visit again it’s always excellent and worth the trip.
