this was my wifes surprise 60th birthday party which went well sadly the venue were not very quick in communicating and when we visited to check the venue i felt the staff were not all on the same page food and drink prices are very expensive think they need to re evaluate such as happy hour 2 4 1 etc doesnt stay open late either things they should consider

The Grill room always has a nice atmosphere. My Mum and I find it to be A La Carte but relaxed which is a nice mix. The food is delicious, we’ve never had a bad meal. I had the Potato Gratin with baby parsnips (vedgy option) this time and it was delicious. The Chef very kindly did my Mum a chicken option, as she couldn’t eat the other options and she really enjoyed it. Presentation and portion size is very good. Reasonably priced for the quality. When we stay at the hotel we always eat in the Grill room and if we were more local we’d eat here more often.

La ubicación fue elegida por la cumpleañera basándose únicamente en recomendaciones y algunas investigaciones en línea. Como era diciembre siempre siento que es difícil elegir un lugar agradable debido a las funciones navideñas y las cenas, pero voy a ser honesto el ambiente navideño sumado al disfrute general de la noche, especialmente porque la decoración en el restaurante era hermosa. Fue mi primera vez en el hotel Titanic o su restaurante, el Wolfe Grill, así que no tenía expectativas si estoy siendo honesto. Me sentí muy bien caminando en el hotel y su lujoso entorno y después de una corta espera en el bar, nos mudamos al restaurante. Como digo, la decoración navideña en el hotel, bar y restaurante fue encantadora y continuó con la imagen de lujo aunque sin pasarse de la raya. Había un buen menú disponible y elegí el ribeye que estaba muy bien cocinado. El servicio era muy bueno dado que era un personal muy joven que sentí (a menudo encuentro hoteles de esa variedad generalmente tienen personal más viejo, más experimentado, pero me alegra ver a los más jóvenes trabajando en este tipo de hoteles y restaurantes para obtener la experiencia). Lo único extraño que me encontré fue que el hotel / restaurante no tenía sus propias instalaciones de aparcamiento, aunque hay un montón de aparcamientos en la zona y cerca, aunque en una noche fría de invierno me imagino que sería algo desagradable si estuviera conduciendo. El hotel está situado frente al centro de visitantes del Titanic, por lo que podría imaginar que sería el lugar perfecto para un descanso y disfrutar del centro de visitantes y una comida al final del día.

This was a great place for a casual solo meal whilst visiting the local area. Staff were lovely, made me feel welcome and were attentive and the food was excellent!

They just had a refurbish! Truth is, this place was 5 stars already before the renovation, good food and coffee but most importantly- good vibes. I recommend the falafel wrap 👍🏻👍🏻

Gran lugar para ir a tomar una copa! El servicio fue excepcional. El camarero era experto y amable, asegurándose de que teníamos todo lo necesario.

Elegimos este restaurante porque aparecía como dog friendly y queriamos probar el tradicional Sunday Roast.Primera decepción: nos dicen que en el restaurante no, que tiene que ser en la terraza de un bonito jardín. Como hace buen día no nos importa (aunque no nos gusta comer en terrazas).El servicio es lento, pero no tenemos prisa. Por fin llegan los primeros platos y con ellos empiezan a merodear las avispas. Uno de los comensales es alérgico a sus picaduras. Lo comentamos. Ninguna solución. A duras penas acabamos los primeros (que no son como para tirar cohetes) y comentamos si podemos trasladarnos al interior. Nos dicen que si, pero que tenemos que dejar a la perrita fuera a pesar de que la sala está prácticamente vacía. Les decimos que para nada y no nos dan ninguna solución. Comentamos que eso no es ser un restaurante dog friendly, pero como si oigo llover.Decidimos irnos y todo el detalle y la disculpa que tienes con nosotros es presentarnos una cuenta de aproximadamente la mitad del importe de los menús de 3 platos que habíamos pedido.Una vergüenza y una decepción enorme.

Even though breakfast and dinner was part of our plan for an extended business stay, after dinning a few times and trying numerous items, we chose to go into town and pay to dine elsewhere. We are very budget consequence, to not eat a free meal and purchase food elsewhere says a lot about how disappointed we were with the food. The quality of ingredients was poor and there was a holistic lack of flavor. At times the food at dinner was presented well, picture perfect; however, the meat would be over cooked, the food was poorly seasoned, the soups were literally the worst soups I have ever eaten in my life. That says a lot as I do not think I have ever had a soup I did not like before trying the soups here. Breakfast consisted of traditional English breakfast using poor quality ingredients, runny yogurt, fruit from tins and lots of processed breads and cheap baked items. They did have a few small containers of nuts that you could use as a topping for the yogurt or your cereal. Service was slow, our tea/coffee would come out after we had finished our meal. The one strong positive thing that I can write is that they genuinely seemed to care if people had allergies to any ingredients on their menu. The staff tried but they were mostly young and poorly trained.

Where do I start ……… booked there gig package deal to take me and my 5 friends to the Pink concert, amazing value for money and wish I had used this before will definitely use again. We turned up early as the manageress had advised they were very busy. We were meet with a very warm welcome and sat down, we ordered some cocktails to start. Lovely cocktails served by very friendly staff, great selection of food for a set meal. I had the Cajun Chicken was lovely. Staff were very attentive and there was a great wee buzz in the place, it was full to the brim but very well organised. The Manager Carly I think her name was is an absolute asset to yous so friendly and all her staff on the ball. She made sure everything managed for getting all 100 people I think she said out onto the bus, we even had takeaway cocktails 🍸 🫶. Thanks for making the start of our day fabulous.

Lunch was average, starters were great but absolutely no atmosphere. I expected some nice Christmas decorations but just a Christmas tree and very little else. Just hadn't the ambience we expected. Disappointing experience.

First impressions from the outside are really off putting. The front carpark is partially blocked by an old estate car and the back carpark almost full of scrap delapidated vehicles of all types. There are fridge and washing machine and kegs scattered about the grounds as well. This may have something to do with storm damage that’s mentioned but it should be cleared away completely not left to walk past on way to restaurant. Why the owners would want this as a reflection of their business beggars belief. Inside it’s supposed to be in the process of renovation but from the front entrance onwards the decor is very tatty and once again sets a poor impresssion. The food is ok but as someone else has mentioned the green veg is a mishmash of sorts and left a pool of water at bottom of plate. It’s needs bringing up to date fast and the carpark cleared to become a venue that you would like to return to.
