We had 3 evening meals here whilst staying at the hotel. There was plenty of choice and the food was great. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Not overly formal which was good especially if you were staying in the hotel.

Booked here with two young children. The staff were great and the setting of the restaurant was amazing. The food was outstanding and the sea bass with fresh pesto was out of this world. They accommodate children and on another table there was a baby in a pram...no problem at all.

An amazing restaurant! Small, elegant, yet historical place (with information cards telling you about the history of the place/people, a lovely bonus). Fine dining, so a little more pricey but that was of course what we expected (have to add on sides but at least you can choose exactly what you want). I'd highly recommend the pork loin with the colcannon! Ethan was an excellent waiter, all service staff should be up to his standard.

Been told about the Woof Grill in the Titanic hotel. Decided to go for dinner on the evening of Monday 17th of June. My 1st impression was very nice .but I had to ask someone to show me where the grill was. The staff were to busy to point the way to resturant. My wife ordered a mocktail drink called emerald Isle which she discovered had a fly floating in it. The waiter said he give her a new drink .but she felt ill after that. Also the starters were taken away by staff, and one minute later our mains turned up. We both felt this was to soon. The food was very average and the staff spent most of the time chatting to each other. The bill was very expensive and we felt ignored for most of the evening. I give only 2 stars. You need to raise your standards Woolf Grill .. I work at a 5 star Hotel in London so I know my stuff when it's comes to food and hotel standards.

Went with some friends for dinner prior to a concert in the SSE arena. Disappointed with the menu choice but the food ordered was of good quality with vegetarian choices. We all had a main follower by a dessert. I had the suger pit pork loin which looked rather lonely on the pate with a couple of blobs of apple purée and some garnish. (£22). The sides were all extra with skinny chips and a portion of Broccoli Nd Garden peas in a Chilli butter ( £9.00). For dessert I ordered Apple crumble and custard, the crumble served in a pot with just a dibble of custard around the edge of the plate amounted to a couple of teaspoons. Had to order some extra cream as the crumble alone was dry. Overall the food of our party was of good quality but very expensive for what you got. A disappointing experience and unlikely to return.

We ate here last night to celebrate my sister’s ‘special’ birthday. The food and service was absolutely excellent. We began with cocktails in the bar, Drawing Room 2. Andy was helpful and knowledgeable with the cocktails. The history of the bar was so interesting. Food at the restaurant was superb. Our waiter and restaurant manger Ethan was beyond helpful and spoilt us as well as making us feel so welcome for such a special occasion. He could also give us history of the restaurant and was so impressive. Menu and wine choices were excellent. Would throughly recommend. Ethan told us the restaurant is recently renovated and refurbished with a new menu which has been specially designed.

We try to have at least 1 fine dining experience whenever we go away, and thought that Dinner at the Titanic Hotel would be perfect. Booking was easy and we arrived on time. The staff were very friendly and professional, but the menu choice was very poor. 5 starters and 5 mains. I love scallops, but we were told that the fish starter was eel! As someone from East London, I don't think eel should be on any fine dining menu - I don't care how they cook it! None of the starters appealed, so we went straight for the mains. Our food was perfectly cooked, and the portions were good, as were the desserts. At the end of the meal, I asked our waiter why there was so little choice, and he explained that they were in the process of updating/changing the menu and that there would be a lot more choice in a couple of weeks. Overall, a good experience, and we didn't leave hungry.

Going to bullit point our experience for you that don’t want to read the full experience. * beautiful interior. * friendly and prompt staff. *lovely 3 course Sunday dinning menu 1pm-3pm. Biggest Yorkshire pudding I’ve ever seen! *out family all had different starters and mains. All very good. No need for sides. * portion sizes- very big ( I took half mine home in a box they provide). * Times between course, just perfect. * waitress’s served all courses in sync! Loved this. * you can see the full working kitchen, which we enjoyed watching between courses. *Prices are on the higher side for us, £32 for 2 course and £38 for three. Well worth it! *Attention to detail- amazing! * over and above service- they gave my Husband a complimentary desert slate with “congratulations “ on it. Nice touch! We booked this as a surprise lunch to celebrate my husband getting MBE, he thought it was just me and him. The family had went ahead and got seated and handed in a cake that was to be served at the end of our meal. On arrival the waitress got us seated, the room is bright and beautifully decorated. We were given the menu and asked for drinks straight away. Didn’t have to wait at all for drinks. We then ordered and the food came out pretty quick, it was served In Sync which I thought was a nice touch . I had the beef dinner with Yorkshire pudding, I have never seen one like it! It was massive. My Husband had the duck, other family had the chicken. All were very delicious and the portions were brilliant! We ordered sides, didn’t need them. Wait time between courses wasn’t long either. After we finished they brought the cake out that we had brought with a sparkler and a complimentary slate with CONGRATULATIONS wrote in white chocolate and a card from the staff. We had a lovely experience and it’s just as well I didn’t listen to the reviews from some below. Shout out to Sieanna, our waitress. Very polite and prompt. Thank you for making our special day just perfect!

Christmas dinner had no prices but when I got the bill I was hit with a £450 charge for 2 adults. It was basic pub food. Are you kidding me? It was truly nothing special for dinner and I would never had booked if I knew they were charging so much. The normal prices are overpriced for the quality of the food so this was extra thievery. I do NOT recommend.

Overpriced food and small portions. I ordered rump of lamb because I had heard how delicious Irish lamb is. The lamb was OK with an interesting sauce, but I could not cut it. I asked for a steak knife. I still could not cut it. Eating solo, I finally picked up the two pieces of meat with my fingers and used my teeth to cut up the lamb. It was served with one tiny sprig of broccoli, and one infinitesimally small bite of celeriac all smothered with some sort of berry compote. The dish was intended to be haute cuisine, I think, but it was peculiar, unharmonized, and left me hungry. The total bill for the paltry entree and a glass of wine and tip was the equivalent of 48 American dollars. Way overpriced, I thought. The breakfasts at the Titanic Hotel fared much better, with delicious pastries and fresh fruit.

Ate at the Wolff Grill while staying at the Titanic Hotel with my family. The ambiance is lovely and the food was expensive but good. However, the poor service really ruined our experience. Here’s what happened: -My husband and I each ordered a cocktail, an appetizer, and a main dish. Our cocktails came out after the main dish- we were already about halfway through the mains when our drinks finally came. The waitress spilled some of my husband’s drink but didn’t offer to refill/remake it. -We ordered chicken goujons from the kids’ menu for one of our sons. The waitress (not the same as for the drink above) dropped one of his three goujons onto a chair when serving him, then picked it up and just walked away with 1/3 of his meal! I thought she would come back with another goujon but she didn’t. He was left hungry and disappointed. -We ordered mini burgers for our other two sons. I asked for cheese on one, and « cheese, salad, and tomato » on the other. Both burgers were served plain (just bread and a dry, hard burger patty). A third waitress brought us out a side salad, but I said we hadn’t ordered a salad and sent it back. The second waitress came back with the salad, said I’d ordered salad with the burger, dropped it in the table and left before I could refuse it again. We were charged for the salad that I didn’t order. The two mini burgers were inedible, neither of our kids ate them. -We ordered a side order of broccoli - described on the menu with a red chili sauce - and I asked for it plain, with no sauce, and explained that it was for the kids and I didn’t want it spicy. The waitress assured me this was possible. We finally got our broccoli about 15 minutes after we’d finished eating our main dishes, with the spicy chili sauce. I tried to send it back but yet another waitress told me that since this was how it was on the menu, I couldn’t send it back. Aside from the kids’ burgers, the food was nicely presented and quite good. But the service left me feeling insulted. We definitely won’t be eating here again.

We enjoyed a very tasty Sunday lunch. It was quiet in the restaurant, but had a relaxing atmosphere. No pressure to move on quickly, which is often the case in several other Belfast restaurants we have visited. We picked this restaurant as it had a more interesting Sunday menu than many others. The bloody Mary prawns with smoked tempura eel and mussels was lovely. Sea bass main nicely done with crushed potatoes and peas/mint combo. Other diner had the pork belly which they enjoyed. Portions weren't massive but more than adequate when having 2 or 3 courses. We prefer good quality nicely presented smaller courses and left the restaurant feeling full, having had a nice dining experience.

Dinner at The Wolff Grill: The food was well presented and exquisite, with an upscale menu! Diners should be aware that it is very fashionable, small plate dining; however, they use top quality ingredients. Each dish was unique and extremely delicious! I would highly recommend the scallops! Our server, Ambrè, was very personable and provided us with superb service! So much so, that we requested to be seated in her section the second night we were there. She was attentive and ensured that our dining experience was nothing but excellent! We will be dining at The Wolff Grill the next time we return to Belfast. We look forward to it! Breakfast at The Wolff Grill: While staying at the Titanic Hotel, we also enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Diners should be aware that if you show up towards the end of breakfast hours (as we did on day one), you may miss out on the full dining experience as they seem to stop replenishing the buffet approximately thirty minutes to an hour prior to the end of breakfast hours. The next morning, we were amazed by the amount of breakfast options— fresh fruit, fresh squeezed juices, cereals and even fish options. We enjoyed a full Irish breakfast and even went back for seconds!

We stayed in the hotel, and despite the negative reviews on here we thought we would give it a try. Place was completely empty, mid week, 8pm, I think one other table, who also sounded like they had complaints. The décor is great and the service guys were friendly, but as per the hotel staff, a bit green. The Sides for the Mains were missed. . .so we had to ask after 10 minutes of waiting. . .as you can imagine a few pieces of Tofu, without any sides, does not constitute a meal, either a piece of steak, so the experience was spoiled. The quality of the food was good, but not to the pricing levels they quoted. We got a substantial bill reduction, which equates to the food quality and service we received, but this did not meet expectations. I think the management here need to take a look at these reviews and make some changes. . .

The staff were really lovely but unfortunately not attentive. From the point of having our order taken until our main course plates being removed, we didn't have anyone check in on our food, to get more drinks etc. There was a 40 minute gap between the starter and main, so our 3 course + coffee before the cinema plan was cut short. The main course I had was lamb which, without sides, was £33. There were two small pieces of lamb, one which was medium-well (not medium-rare as it was supposed to be served as standard), and the other was all fat and inedible. Both main courses weren't hot. The surroundings are lovely and if the service was more attentive, the lamb was a nice cut and properly cooked and the food was served hot, then it may be worth the price tag, but none of these were the case. I think this may be the reason it was half-empty on a Saturday night in Belfast. Having said that, when we pointed out the problems, the staff were really apologetic and kind, and they took our 2 glasses of wine and the lamb off the bill.

Staying in Belfast for 48 hours at the Titanic hotel which is great. Dinner at the Wolff Grill. Nice menu and food is good but insufficient. Starter of smoked eel which was delicious but very small. Main was lamb loin which was great but not hot enough and was 2 small pieces of meat which for £30+ was tight. There was the smallest piece of broccoli I have ever seen with it. It’s broccoli, don’t be tight. If it was 3 pieces I would say fine. No veg apparent with it on the menu so ordered 2 chunky chip (between 4) to pad out a little. Chips didn’t arrive with the meal so by the time we realised they weren’t coming food was even colder and we asked where chips were. They had obviously been forgotten so by the time they arrived 2 of us had finished so we turned the chips away. Could easily have been a really good menu and meal, spoilt by meagre portions and poor service. Lovely hotel and overall a great stay and experience marred by easily remedied detail.

My daughter and I booked the gala dinner on New Year’s Eve having had a wonderful experience there in 2019. Had we experienced then what we did in 2022 we would never have returned, as this year the meal was just awful! So - what happened? We arrived for our 5 course dinner with a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival at 7:45. We were informed at that point that the restaurant was busy, and that we might have to wait a few minutes for service, and were shown to our table and seated with a glass of water (no sign of the bubbles!) 20 minutes later, my daughter went and asked for menus which were brought and left with us. We waited again for service, and my daughter went to get us drinks from the main bar whilst we were waiting. She was back with the drinks having queued at the busy bar before someone appeared to take our order. The maitre D came and took the order, and I asked if we were supposed to get the complimentary bubbles - she did have the grace to look embarrassed, and the prosecco was delivered with our wine and a soft drink - but served in martini glasses! From this point on, the service was good, but it took nearly an hour from being seated to getting our starters! So what about the food? Well putting it bluntly, it was absolutely terrible. Tiny starter portion of salmon served on a huge plate (why?), and venison carpaccio served with a pinch of micro herbs and a couple of blackberries - tasteless and horrible. Mains were a symphony in brown, the halibut was over salted and over cooked, the beef fillet dry and tasteless with a heavily salted dribble of sauce - and the vegetables were a disaster - unlike the main plates, the mashed potatoes, were totally unseasoned and were bland and tasteless, and the roasted veg were shades of Orange and brown. The stalk of broccoli served with the beef was charred to death! I do appreciate that the restaurant was busy that night, but given that the starters and desserts were both cold and could be prepped in advance, more time and care could have been spent on cooking and serving the mains. And the wait for service was unacceptable - had we been brought the bubbles straight away we might have been less cross! The dessert was also dry and tasteless it needed more cream or sauce to make it palatable. For £125 a head, it was absolutely awful and definitely not worth the price. You need to check out what happened in the kitchen - what a 5 star hotel restaurant put out to customers on New Years Eve would have disgraced a catering college’s first week students offering in their restaurant! Fortunately, the fabulous band and the midnight piper went a long way to sending us to bed happy, but come on Titanic - you earned a great reputation for good food and service - you are throwing it away big time!

Really excellent fine dining restaurant. The restaurant space is very well presented in the heart of the iconic historical Harland and Wolff head office building. Service is first class, friendly, smiling, attentive and welcoming (special mention to Ooonagh). The food is just wonderful. Every dish...

Everything I tasted was superb. Well executed, good portions, finest flavors. Nothing to claim on the experience. it is inside the Titanic Hotel. Even breakfast was very good!

What a wonderful surprise we found when we wandered into this hotel restaurant. Great service and great food (servings could be a bit larger). Excellent blending of taste and texture, there must be a great chief behind it all!

We ate here 16 May as a group of 6. Truly awful. For example one of our party did not receive their meal until we complained. What did arrive was nothing special. We did complain but the response of the waitress was “oh”.

Came here with nearly an empty restaurant. Didn’t get served after 20 minutes after being seated, so we had to go up and make our requests known. Our app came. Entrees took another almost 45mins to come, saw multiple later tables get their food. I once again had to go up to the bar to make sure we even had an order coming. Waiter reassured us it was still coming and nicely gave us complementary drinks. The drinks were kinda bad. When entree came, the pasta didn’t fill me up. I’ve had worse. I just was expecting a better experience for such an impressive, upscale hotel. Even an average experience would have cut it.

They were sorely understaffed when we visited; our waiter disappeared mid meal never to be seen again. If you order French onion soup, it has delicious, plentiful onions but no cheese— who does that?
