Where else would you see a cafe surrounded by several flocks of sheep? 🐏🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑 On a Welsh mountain side in the middle of the Brecon Beacons, that's where! What a unique and enjoyable experience; sipping hot freshly made coffee, munching a lovely bacon 'butty' with the breeze blowing through the valley. Plus, a 'captive' audience, each one of the woolly creatures in the audience hoping for a free sample from my bread roll. No luck there I'm afraid. Good quality burger, fresh bun and great service from the proprietor. Will definitely use again.

We had a coffee machine purchased and fitted with CORTILE, Richard came out to install. The process was so easy from start to finish. He was fantastic, full of knowledge and extremely helpful. Having seen the reviews, we popped in here for a quick brunch during a brief visit to Aberdare. This community is so lucky to have a place like this and I thoroughly recommend it. The Hyb is really clean, bright and spacious and well looked after. The staff in the cafe were really polite, efficient and friendly. Our 2 coffees, porridge with honey and berry compote and bacon and avocado toasted brioche bap were perfect and all for £12.80. Really good value. We were also really pleased to read about the Hyb's 'Pay it forward' scheme which invites you to buy food/drink items to be used by people in need. The staff give you a receipt to stick on a board and anyone in need can pick it up and get free food/drink. What a lovely way to make an anonymous 'act of kindness' and one which we were inspired to do. We'll certainly go there again if passing in/near Aberdare.

Being fairly new to the area this bakery is a superb find. Beautiful iced birthday cake, Chocolate fudge sponge and Christmas cake superbly finished and delicious. Thank you very much, will be regular customers x

First time visit today and was very impressed, beautiful corned beef pie which was big, and my wife said her salad and pasta was very nice, thoroughly recommended and that's before eating the custard slice

Fantastic baguettes for good value and the coffee is also very good too. Would highly recommend the lamb and mind baguette. Friendly staff as well.

Wow, what can i say! The most amazing buffet, choice was fantastic and so tasty! Marilyn and her team catered for 80 people for my party and they didn't disappoint. A fab wee shop in the heart of the community. The best salads to take away ever. A choice of ice creams and coins and more. Wonderful staff who are extremely helpful.

This lovely local pub is just fantastic! Great beer and traditional pub grub - we booked for a large family group for a birthday and from the first point of contact to the end of the evening was just excellent. We submitted our orders prior to arrival and paid deposits for each person, when we arrived the tables were laid and the restaurant was warm, comfortable and well presented. There were sufficient staff who provided us with excellent service throughout the evening. The food was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious! All 18 members of the party, including children thoroughly enjoyed their food and commented how good it was. DEFINIETLY will return.
