Hard to find a cafe that knows how to cook food ,, every time Ive been in always have the same , egg, sausages on fried bread sandwich, Only place i know that makes it perfectly every time. No burning or over cooked.. iv always taken out as there way to busy , just shows how good they are.

Just incredible food, all done by the students. Met the chefs who asked for feedback. Service is outstanding, should be open 7 days a week! Vegetarian options were limited in a set menu but chose something new and it was fantastic.

We recently celebrated a very special occasion—my in-laws 60th Wedding Anniversary—at this charming little restaurant (Fullbrooks), and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon and setting. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was just right. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, perfect for our small family gathering. Each meal was beautifully prepared, and every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious—clearly made with care and attention. It’s not often that a whole table agrees that every course was spot on, but that’s exactly what happened. What really stood out, though, was the genuine kindness and effort from the team. They truly went the extra mile—personal touches, thoughtful service, and a sense that they genuinely cared about making the afternoon memorable. We left feeling full, happy, and very grateful. Thank you for helping us mark such a meaningful milestone with such grace and heart. Highly recommended for any special occasion—or simply a lovely dinner out.

Another delicious Sunday roast, many thanks to the hard working staff. Cosy & warm here with parking outside on a quiet street. Good value for large plateful & today the beef was particularly tender.

This lovely local pub is just fantastic! Great beer and traditional pub grub - we booked for a large family group for a birthday and from the first point of contact to the end of the evening was just excellent. We submitted our orders prior to arrival and paid deposits for each person, when we arrived the tables were laid and the restaurant was warm, comfortable and well presented. There were sufficient staff who provided us with excellent service throughout the evening. The food was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious! All 18 members of the party, including children thoroughly enjoyed their food and commented how good it was. DEFINIETLY will return.
