A fab wee shop in the heart of the community. The best salads to take away ever. A choice of ice creams and coins and more. Wonderful staff who are extremely helpful.

This place is absolutely outstanding, great surroundings, great food, and lovely staff. If you are in the area, don’t drive past because you will be missing out.

Paramos aquí para comer un bocado durante un paseo en moto y después de leer los comentarios, no nos decepcionó. La pequeña cafetería es una verdadera joya. Fantástica selección de ensaladas, baguettes y patatas de la chaqueta. Un problema, justo lo que elegir! ! Comer en o para llevar, la sección de café es muy moderno y familiar con sillas altas. De lejos es superior a las patatas fritas normales y cafeterías hamburguesa. Genial.

Precioso lugar para llevar o comer en el hotel, la comida es fantástica y todos allí, y luego, el personal es encantador y de gran ayuda. También hacer helado precioso. Este lugar debería ser visitado.

I wrote this review when Delicious first opened, however it got lost somewhere on TripAdvisor waiting for the listing to be approved. I've left it in it's entirety however there are significant changes to the review so I'll do an update on my next visit! Should mention NOW OPEN 7 DAYS a week !! First time visit to a recently opened lunch experience/cafe/ice cream parlour and was totally charmed by the whole experience. Large forecourt which when there's space offers parking, otherwise just park in the side street. Very clean and inviting decor, welcoming and accomodating staff, beautifully laid out selection of salads/pastas and good variety of eat in/take out lunch options. Rated 5 by RCT Council. Choices of salad options on blackboards including regular salad £2.95 large salad £3.50 (any number of salad ingredients included, plus one protein option ie cheese, ham, turkey, chicken, you choose, extra protein £1 per selection) packaged in take out containers or presented beautifully if eating in. Nice selection of speciality proteins including sweet chilli chicken, BBQ pork, coronation chicken, tuna mayo besides the more expected ham, turkey, roast pork and chicken. Add a dressing (8 to choose from) and you have a healthy and filling lunch. Baked potatoes from £3.50 (you can choose fillings from proteins list with or without cheese). Selection of hot and cold pastas. Omelettes with option of 2 fillings (£3) 3 fillings (£3.50) or 5 fillings (£5), all served with side salad and dressing. Current meal deal which includes regular hot drink for £1 with any meal. Selection of barista-style hot drinks, cold cans, confectionery, crisps, cakes and savoury bakes. Seating for 16 at tables/sofas at rear. Childrens highchairs (2) available. M and F Toilets. Disabled friendly (wide door access to cafe). They also do a phone in order/delivery service for offices/workplaces etc and can cater for functions/buffets. (Minimum order £10). Fully stocked Marios Italian style Welsh produced ice cream bar. My suggestions to make delicious even better: Move the cutlery baskets to where they can easily be reached - tucked away around the corner not user friendly. Serve your drinks with saucers, nothing worse than having to find somewhere to put a wet and frothy spoon after stirring cappuchino. A selection of 'missing' salad accompaniments could be considered - maybe olives; mixed seed selection ie pine nuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds; crunchy bacon bits; cripsy onions - all lovely and different finishing garnishes. How about a loyalty card? Highly recommended. I give it 5* (and I'm fussy!). Great place to meet for lunch over a coffee, or simply phone your lunch order in and collect a takeaway salad to go. I shall be recommending delicious to all my friends and may I wish Matthew and his staff every good wish for it's success.
