Found this little gem today whilst looking for a nice place to take the hubby for lunch. Great selection of sandwich fillings, cakes and drinks. Fabulous welsh chutney and cheese, all local produce. Really pleased we visited today and will def be calling again. There also seems to be a good selection on the standard lunch menu and take away menu. Looking forward to trying them all out 😊 five stars from us.

There has been a café previously in the Cynon Valley Museum, this has now recently re-opened under new management and with a new name. Food is very freshly prepared and there is a good selection of light meals. The lady in charge could not be more pleasant and helpful. We dropped in for breakfast, having been very impressed when we were there during a Steam Punk event, when the café was serving a smaller menu prior to the official opening. The rolls we had on that occasion were just like home made and that is definitely a compliment. We both had scrambled egg on toast for breakfast and, unlike in some places, the egg was plentiful. We hope to return before too long and try a lunch.
