The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Corwen Denbighshire North Wales

A lovely little classic pub with a friendly landlord and nice, chatty locals. They had a dart board and a brilliant vinyl jukebox, definitely worth a visit if you're in the area on the weekend (I think they only open Friday to Monday)

We visited earlier for lunch and rang ahead to advise them of our very nervous dog Bertie who had never been into a pub before. They were so understanding and put us all into a peaceful room where we enjoyed our ham, egg and chips and my steak pie with beautiful chips and mixed vegetables. My pie was delicious and full of chunks of steak and the chips were outstanding too. The pub has car parking to the rear and the views from the pub garden(small and currently having work done) out to the canal and bridge(pictured) are postcard stuff. A gorgeous Welsh village pub with lovely welcoming staff serving excellent food and drink at reasonable prices. Thank you for making my wife, me and our two dogs Maddie and Bertie welcome. Lovely surroundings and places to walk nearby. Convenient for the pub. Enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely stay again!

Glad we stopped here. The view was fantastic whilst having breakfast before a long journey ahead. It is run by a couple who were so lovely and helpful. Highly recommend stopping here for a coffee or a bite to eat. Breakfast was delicious. Seating is outside but has plastic surroundings and a heater, so we weren't cold in the November weather.

My husband had a lovely breakfast here this morning- most satisfied indeed- lovely hearing Welsh being spoken by the locals -always a good sign to see places supported like that - we are on holiday - price was amazing- you deserve success so keep going- all the best

When we are in Corwen we always seem to be drawn back to the Workhouse for a drink before we explore the adjacent well stocked shop inside the old building. Beverages and food are at a reasonable price and the staff friendly and efficient; so when in the area we will call once more.

love this place , it is a greasy spoon cafe . we had the full breakfast and asked for fried bread aswell .
