This is a very friendly and welcoming cafe to visit. It may be a little old fashioned but there's nothing wrong with that and the food is tasty and very reasonably priced. Overall it's a great value cafe with quality food served by a friendly staff. They also have a variety of greeting cards and gifts for sale. Well worth a visit.

We only live up the road but we pop down sometimes for a breakfast. Beautifully cooked food, great sausages and bacon, gorgeous fried bread, all served piping hot. The ladies who work here are lovely, couldn't be friendlier. The tea is very good and it's very good value for a perfectly cooked breakfast.

Hubby and me decided to have an early lunch here yesterday (Wednesday). The Cafe consists of 2 small rooms. It was quite busy (a good sign) but we managed to get a table. The other customers were all friendly. The lady behind the counter was most welcoming and helpful. I ordered 2 all-day breakfasts and tea for 2 which came to a very respectable total of £10.20 (cash only payments accepted). We didn't have to wait very long to be served. The tea came in a pot with an extra pot of hot water AND an extra tea-bag. The breakfast consisted of 2 well-done sausages, 2 rashers of curly bacon, 1 fried egg, a spoonful of thick beans, and 2 triangles of white buttered toast. It was basic but quite adequate. On the wall outside I noticed a plaque about Elena Puw Morgan (1900-1973), a Corwen resident who was a writer and novelist. In 1938 she was the 1st woman to win a prose medal at the National Eisteddfod of Wales for her book "Y Graith" (The Scar). As well as adult novels, she also wrote stories for children. Her husband ran a tailor's shop in the same building as this cafe.

This is a lovely old fashioned café. We came here after finishing our walks in Llandrillo as there are no cafés there. Fortunately we noticed that this café in Corwen was open as we drove past. We had a pot of tea and a slice of very nice home made bare brith. The pot of tea came with a pot of hot water we didn't have to ask for. Another good idea was an extra teabag was provided if you prefer a stronger tea. The food prices, especially those for breakfast looked very reasonable. We had a chat with the two ladies running the café and even had lessons in pronouncing some of the local placenames.

Excellent value and a lovely cup of tea. I drink my tea black with no sugar so quality is very important. Also excellent value, 2 mugs for £1.80 or a pot for 2 at £3. This was our cafe of choice when we went into Corwen.

Es el mejor desayuno que puede llegar a cualquier lugar. Es muy razonable, preparado con todos los ingredientes frescos y usan mantequilla. Vamos allí a menudo. Si estás de vacaciones en la zona de corwen, probar al menos una vez. No te decepcionará. Mejor Bacon Buttie demasiado por millas.

Lovely traditional Welsh cafe set in the heart of Corwen. My wife and I always return for their cooked breakfast. Our favourite place for a really good fry up. Their bacon and sausages are truly amazing. The staff are really nice and friendly and they have an extensive menu in Welsh and English too. Soft drinks and warm drinks available plus childrens high chair available too. Toilet facilities inside. This is a must for a cooked breakfast.

We were greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff; They even offered to bring water for our dog. We were three adults who were very well fed for less than £20, and the excellent food was freshly cooked to order. We will certainly visit here again when we are in the area.

Basic but very good cafe in Corwen. Good food and service, definitely cheap and cheerful. Run by very welcoming and friendly Welsh speakers (they will speak English to you!). The cafe also sells Welsh books, cards and gift items as well. One of several eateries in Corwen and worth visiting especially if you are a visitor from Llangollen on the newly returned Steam train service. The cafe and town centre are just 5 minutes walk across the town car park from the new railway station terminus. I would definitely return.

First time visiting and we had a fantastic afternoon tea - absolutely delicious! The service was absolutely excellent and the staff were brilliant with catering for children. Nothing was too much trouble! We were so impressed with our experience and will be back. I didn’t get her name unfortunately, but the blonde waitress who served us the most was absolutely lovely and we can’t thank her enough for making us feel so welcome and looking after us. Thank you!!

I visit here quite regular. They do so many choices and it's so tasty. Made to tour choice and they are a very reasonable price. Would never go to another sandwich bar. My personal favourite is Chinese chicken.

This is now called Boba Geeks Cafe. We went in expecting the usually greasy cafe food with frozen chips . We were pleasantly surprised. Home made chips with sausage, egg and beans all cooked to perfection. The chef uses all fresh ingredients in all his food and does a traditional roast on a Sunday. We paid £21 for 3 meals and 3 drinks which I thought was a real bargain.
