The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in North Wales

I was very happy to attend at Wine Tasting, arranged by Deinol of Blas Ar Fwyd, held at the Checkers Montgomery, a marriage of both Food and Wine. There were 7 wines and a 6 course tasting menu. The wines were a perfect accompany to the food, and were presented by Deinol, with Skill, passion and a depth of information, which elevated the experience. The styles and variety of the wines were both appropriate and different, and I shall certainly appreciate wine differently from now. Thank you

Quirky little cafe in the heart of Dollgellau. Love the decor and the cakes looked very enticing. On entering I was a little concerned about the 0 star food hygiene rating, but it didn’t appear to be unclean when we were in there, so this may be out of date or due for an inspection. I had a full breakfast (served all day) which was delicious. Rest of my party had a veggie breakfast and two coronation chicken baguettes. No one was disappointed by their food. All was delicious. Our desserts were fantastic too, we were spoilt for choice and the pieces were huge! Little criticisms I had were the teapot was cracked and leaked on the table but it was replaced quickly by staff. Second was there was a hair on our tiffin but we were offered a replacement or money back and staff were apologetic. Overall, decent cafe and would return.

This is a community pub and it sits in the beautiful village of Pennal. Service is friendly and accommodating. The food is great and to miss this gem would be a shame. Pennal is a quiet village between the cultured town of Machynlleth and the Aberdyfi beaches. Ideal for all ages. Highly recommended.

Happened upon this place by chance and so happy we did. The food is really good, well priced and good sized portions. The chunky chips are a must. Very happy 😊

Had a very tasty homemade style soup and an excellent latte. Sandwiches and pastries all looked generously sized and very fresh. Staff were most welcoming and the place was spotless

Popped in for a much needed dinner after a Snowdon hike today and what a gem of a place. We found a table and ordered the food from the bar. The Food came out in good time and was so tasty I had the chilli dog and my wife had the halloumi burger and we had two sprites and at just under £35 I was well happy. Staff were all chatty and helpful. Overall this was a great place to have dinner and I would happily recommend.

Love this place, the pizza was delicious, lots of options to suit both carnivores and vegetarians, the dips were particularly heavenly to dunk our crusts in. Wish we lived closer so we could become regulars! Super friendly staff and happy to have our dog join us, we felt welcome as soon as we walked in. Exactly what we needed after a day of driving and a long walk. Can't recommend highly enough.

A really lovely meal for my mum’s 80th birthday. Excellent service by young staff. Nia is a wonderfully attentive host.

The Welsh Rarebit was the best I’ve ever had. Staff were wonderful and gracious. Very nice view of the castle and mountains.

Here on holiday. Really friendly staff with a genuinely warm welcome. I'll definitely visit again as I love community pubs.
