Hot chocolate was good lots of cream and marshmallows would eat again

Vegan brekkie was lovely after few hrs hiking....lovely ladies

Friendly staff, tasty cake, good coffee. Overall it was well priced. Loved the quirky room. Could easily miss it when walking past but glad we didn't.

Long wait for a scone and bap. Drinks were cold by the time the food arrived. Cheese bap was so dry, some butter would help! Nice staff.

We went in today for breakfast and it was lovely. We just had the standard breakfast which was excellent for the money and very filling. We will definitely be going in again next time we're in Llangollen.

If you are gluten free you must eat here. Food was great the size of the meal was great made you feel like you are normal.... Loved the toasties so filling and the coffee is great

Best jacket potato I’ve ever had! I’m still sat here and reviewing this place already, that’s how good it was. I had a jacket with tuna and coleslaw and my wife had cheese and coleslaw. Great value and good size spuds too. Lovely little environment in a sunny courtyard with lovely staff.

We had coffee and standard breakfast and both were delicious, breakfast was very filling and the coffee was very good, not often do you find good food with good tasting coffee too! Love this little gem of a place and the staff were great and friendly too. Highly recommend a visit!

Very relaxed atmosphere with good selection of cakes etc. We had the lemon scones which were infused with lemon and came with a generous helping of lemon curd and cream. We went back for a repeat performance but sadly they had to close early due to the inclement weather severely limiting footfall. Next time we're in Llangollen, we will return...

Really pleasant little friendly cafe with seating inside, under cover, and open air. Extensive dedicated gluten free and vegan menus. Very fairly priced tasty food in nice surroundings. Dog friendly too. Can't really ask for much more.

I decided on bringing my family here for lunch as someone highly recommended it. I turned up to be greeted by a pleasant young lad I was just about to give him the order then one of the staff a young woman was arguing with him . I was absolutely appalled by her behaviour so I got up and walked off. This was a terrible experience I won’t forget therefore won’t be returning again . The young lad apologised I felt so sorry for him to be humiliated in front of customers. I own a cafe and I wouldn’t tolerate any of my staff to act in that manner.

A hidden gem in the small tourist town of Llangollen. This tea room is in a courtyard through an alley, just off the main Street. Both indoor and outdoor seating, along with its own bookshop. They take both cards and cash. I had a delicious lemon scone, topped with lemon curd and fresh cream. A lovely variation on the traditional scone and jam etc. The scone was soft on the inside and golden on the outside and a very decent size. We will certainly return to this tea room.

This has to be the hidden gem cafe of Llangollen. Really good food choice, super portions and lovely staff. Lots of hearty homecooked grub. We will be straight back here next time we visit!

Visited this cafe several times and we love it. The staff are polite and friendly and the food is really good value for money. So good it makes you wonder how they make a profit. I'd recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast, and also their scones (the scones don't have that bitter baking soda taste that can give you heartburn afterwards). The only issue for first timers is finding the place. It's tucked away down an alley between the shops and doesnt look much like a cafe even when you're staring straight at it. But it's lovely, and worth it.

This was a quick visit for me though an excellent find just across from the Town Hall a nice little courtyard cafe. Scrambled egg on nice thick brown toast with a little salad and one the best hot chocolate’s I’ve ever had and piping hot as well. Plenty of seating inside and out Great staff and excellent service It’s definitely going to be one of my favourite places to visit in the future. Next time I’ll spend a little longer as I saw some very lovely food being served. Definitely worth visiting 👍

Lovely little coffee shop hidden away from the Main Street of Langollen. Surrounded by some splendid little shops but by far the star of the show. BEST scones we’ve ever eaten, lovely cafetière and delicious toasties. Staff were very friendly and helpful - would recommend !

Had a lovely afternoon tea , all freshly made sandwichs the scone & jam & cream was delicious, we got two afternoon tea , but should of just got one , but lovely staff provided us a little box to take home what we could not eat .

We discovered this great little cafe during our first ever visit to Llangollen. The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable and the service excellent. We definitely recommend this fabulous cafe and we will be visiting again when next over from Liverpool.

We visited Llangollen on a busy Saturday & just wanted a snack. This place is hidden away although clearly signed, and we were so pleased we found it. We sat outside in a bit of sun and it was busy but peaceful. The ladies waitressing were a great team & very friendly. The chunky sandwich was very good and nicely presented, and the scones were top notch, so good we took some extras home! Highly recommend, no frills great cafe & fabulous food and service.

Cakes were delicious and the coffee too! The barista/waitress was friendly and welcoming. A unexpected place to find! Keep your eye for the sign. You don’t want to miss it!

I ordered a bacon sandwich and a cappuccino coffee from a cheerful and very welcoming staff member. The coffee was delivered to my table within minutes and the sandwich arrived in no time afterwards. Both were tasty and good value for money. One of the staff members who was obviously an animal lover, made a fuss of of a customer's dog in the outer courtyard and I was impressed that the first thing she did on returning to the café was to thoroughly wash her hands before touching anything. Definitely worth visiting.

I visited this cafe today and was looking forward to some lovely home cooked food like the previous reviews have stated. I would describe it as mediocre at best sadly. I really wanted to enjoy it and the court yard atmosphere has so much potential. However, when I was there I witnessed an unpleasant exchange between a member of staff and a non customer who was in the court yard. The staff member CHASED a young couple and accused him of dropping a cigarette butt outside the cafe. I saw the incident and he 100% didn’t do it and he denied it. The staff member was rude and aggressive and it really left a sour taste in my mouth (if the food hadn’t already done so). I felt sorry for the couple and embarrassed on behalf of the member of staff who would probably benefit from some customer service training before more people visit this cafe. A shame as it could have been so lovely!

I have just found this little gem after holidaying in Llangollen for years, this is without doubt the best home cooked breakfast and lunch you will taste in Llangollen, we both had home made steak pie, it was amazing it was served with creamed mash peas and gravy for £7.00 it was just like my nana made. Please pop in if you are in Llangollen amazing home made cakes service is excellent just a pleasure. Only one thing no high chairs but we managed to work it out. Can’t wait to return

Husband and I called here today for our Lunch, haven’t been for a while, The Lasagne homemade Garlic bread and salad was really as good as we remembered, really enjoyed it, really filling.

Excellent value breakfasts for all the family. The seating area outside is largely under cover, so plenty of space for the family and the dog.

The outside seating area looked good and with good social distancing in place ...,,Staff really friendly, FABULOUS freshly home made sandwiches good tasting quality brown bread , filling very generous I had egg and cress came with some salad finishing s ,,, and AMAZING tasting home made cake I had the lemon drizzle again excellent quality taste and good portions . I can’t comment on the quality of the coffee because I opted for a glass of Dwr Cymru came very chilled and I can confirm has an excellent taste . A definite “ will go again “ would highly recommend a visit , 👍
