Great coffee and great cake. What more is there to life.

I called in to Botanical Lounge for the first time and had a very pleasant surprise. The internal decor was excellent with very comfortable and respectfully placed seating. The background music was tasteful and set at a good level. I ordered a breakfast which was also served after midday. The food cannot be overstated. The quality of the sausages often speaks volumes and this did not disappoint. They were happy to customise my order and increase the quantity of other ingredients. The whole meal felt as if it had been cooked using quality ingredients and with little oil resulting in one of the best breakfasts in the Rhos on Sea and Bay Area.

Great cafe. Super friendly staff. Was very busy when we arrived but luckily we booked for a tablet breakfast. Food was very good. Lovely forward to trying more from their menu.

One of our favourite places to come for breakfast/brunch. We’ve been coming since it reopened. We’re here at least every two weeks! If I wasn’t a teacher I think I’d be here much more often!! Food here is amazing quality, always cooked the way we like it. Staff are so lovely. Neil always has a good chat with us and always makes us feel welcome! The women that work on the weekend are lovely! We always get our usual a vegetarian breakfast (with extra Hashbrown and no mushrooms) and a large breakfast and it never disappoints. We often bring family and friends here too and they always enjoy their meal. We’ve tried the pancakes too, perfect sweet treat if you don’t want something savoury. Coffees are yummy too. We also love that they’re dog friendly so we have the option to bring our pup!

Found this cafe on way home after a mini break. Parked at Lidl which was 1 min walk away. I picked it due to its good reviews and the fact it was dog friendly, we had elderly dog with us. We all had a full breakfast, one veggie and they were lovely, well presented, hot and with quality ingredients. The staff were really friendly and the cafe had a great vibe to it, with very nice toilets (always important). Very tempted by the cakes on offer too, but hadn’t left enough room as they looked delicious. Would definitely recommend.

my first time here went for breakfast with my daughter nice welcome coffee was lovely food was very nice mushrooms were to die for best ive ever had ive been to few cafes but this one ticks top of my list i dont think ill be going anywhere else very clean could not fault one thing very friendly atmosphere Would definitely recommend

Lovely place but I struggled with the noisy coffee machine.

My wife and I were on our way back to Manchester after spending a few days in wales , we wanted a decent coffee and usually stop at Bryn Thomas in Rhos on Sea but this time decided to have a Quick Look for somewhere in Colwyn and we spotted the Botanical Lounge. What a find it turned out to be with lovely coffee and delicious food beautifully presented. It’s a little gem and if you call in you certainly won’t be disappointed ! Bob Harvey

The staff were very friendly, I had the chicken and peppers pitta which was amazing. The coffee was very good too.

Had a lovely lunch here with my daughter. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. The skin on fries were the best I've had, seasoning was spot on.

Best bacon roll I have ever had, plenty of perfectly cooked bacon on wonderfully fresh roll, and the coffee is good too!

Very lucky to have stumbled across this place before a climbing trip out. Me and my boyfriend are both vegan so we had the vegan breakfast and brunch. The food was so yummy and the service was so warming - we felt so looked after and cared for :)

Had a lovely lunch stop here whilst enroute to another location in north wales. Really enjoyed the halloumi bagel, the halloumi was cooked perfectly! Lovely coffee and a very yummy homemade carrot cake. We will stop again if passing!

We had an excellent full English breakfast that made us gorgeously stuffed for the rest of the day. Staff is very friendly too, highly recommended.

I came for brunch with my husband last week. I had vegetarian brunch, my he had a meaty option. We both agreed it was the best brunch we’d had in a long time. The service was great too.

Absolutely Beautiful little place. We had Salmon & Poached Eggs with Avocado 🥑 on Toasted Brown Seeded Bloomer and A Creamy Mushrooms in Cream Cheese & Spinach topped with Poached Egg & Crispy Bacon 🥓 also on Toasted Brown Seeded Bloomer. Great Ambiance, Incredibly Delicious Food and the presentation was 10/10. Music 🎶 was great too. The Owners were so attentive. Great place. Definitely recommend 100%

We had such a lovely lunch here. The staff are so friendly, the atmosphere was brilliant and the food and drinks were delicious! While we were there, the hustle and bustle of the high street was forgotten and we could have been anywhere in the world. The staff were great, nothing was too much and everyone greeted us with a smile. The food was fantastic, all 5 meals arrived at the same time and all of us enjoyed them to the last bite. Thank you again to Neil and the team, you spoiled us! We’ll definitely be back soon!

Highly recommend this excellent cafe, it’s such a lovely relaxed atmosphere, decor is beautiful and the owners are lovely warm welcoming people too. There was nothing to dislike about this lovely find. The tea was perfectly presented, my breakfast was scrumptiously delicious and their homemade cakes looked amazing, I was too full to try one but I will definately be back. Fabulous fair prices and overall an excellent place to watch the world go by … well done team Botanical Lounge 😊

If you haven’t been to the Botanical Lounge then you’re missing out ! This place is absolutely lovely from the moment you walk in the door, the decor is beautiful and it’s spotlessly clean. Our breakfasts did not disappoint, fresh local ingredients, the food was so tasty,. The avocado, egg's, bacon, spinach, mushrooms & tomatoes was the best I’ve ever had anywhere, the individual flavours all tasted delicious. Locally roasted Coffee was excellent and the hot choc was delicious. Service, Presentation, Food, Atmosphere this place has it all, 10/10 for this lovely little find.

Visited today with friends and were made to feel so welcome immediately. Absolutely fantastic service with a smile and the food was amazing, delicious, flavoursome and plentiful. I would definitely recommend and will be returning. Thank you all you’re amazing!!!

Had a lovely time with 4 friends for a special occasion. We all had paninis which were delicious and my latte was fantastic too.

I visited this cafe for the first time today, I received a very friendly welcome from the staff and I was amazed with the lovely atmosphere. However thos was topped by the incredibly fresh and very tasty breakfast that I was served. I would highly recommend a visit here.

My wife and I decided to come here for brunch, and we're both so glad we did! On arrival, we were greeted by a polite and welcoming gentleman (I'm assuming the owner) and seated in the main dining area, just by the bar. The seats are cushioned and comfortable. We were given a moment to decide what we wanted to eat and drink, then our orders were taken. I went for the Botanical Breakfast, while my wife had the chicken stuffed pita. We were told the food might be a little while as they had orders before us, but it took just under ten minutes (not long at all). When the food arrived, we could already tell it was going to be good, just from its appearance. Everything looked fresh, well cooked, and beautifully presented. We started tucking in, and weren't disappointed! The flavours were incredible. Everything tasted so fresh, and we savoured every single bite. Wow, just wow... The egg was perfectly cooked, with a runny yolk and a firm yet fluffy white. The bacon and hash browns were just the right amount of crisp, and sausages were thick and juicy, and the mushrooms... 🤤 I don't know what the mushrooms were cooked in, but I've never eaten mushrooms which tasted that good before. My wife enjoyed her food as well, but I want to try that for myself and review it another time. I'm not exaggerating when I say Botanical Lounge serves one of, if not the best breakfasts I've ever eaten. I'm just the right amount of full, and I have that warm fuzzy feeling you only get from a truly delicious meal. If you're ever in Colwyn Bay or the surrounding area and are feeling hungry, you'd be a fool not to eat at Botanical Lounge. I'll see you there!

Botanical lounge couldn’t have been more helpful the atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming and the restaurant very clean. It is in the West End of Colwyn Bay just before the round about to Rhos on Sea and Llandudno if passing it’s well worth a visit. Dog friendly will bring my Labrador next time.

5 stars all round for the Botanical Lounge!! We’ve been 5/6 times now and never wanted to leave each time! I’ve experienced breakfast and brunch here and always been happy! There’s a delicious menu with a great choice of vegi options and cakes and coffee, there’s even an alcoholic menu! My go to is a flat white and creamy mushroom brunch! Yummmmmy! There is always a chilled vibe with classy beats playing in the background, Neil is always super friendly and helpful and he honestly can’t do enough to make you feel at home. Can’t wait to go back soon!

On saturday the botanical lounge hosted my ‘baby in bloom’ baby shower in their beautiful lounge. The most perfect venue for my ‘baby in bloom’ theme with their stunning green and pink throughout. Neil and his partner Jale we’re amazing from start to finish, they were so helpful with absolutely everything and made us feel so welcome. serving their delicious buffet which included a variety of sandwiches, beautiful cheese/fruit boards, crisps with dips, Indian selection, mini desserts and more! they also had Simone and Neil on their unique bar with a choice of non alcoholic drinks, stunning cocktails and of course mocktails for myself. I would thoroughly recommend the botanical lounge for special occasions or even just for a coffee and cake.

A chance discovery on our way to an appointment in Eirias Park. A very friendly welcome from the owner/staff. Ordered a normal breakfast and sausage bap with ordinary tea and Americano coffee. All were excellent, the breakfast ingredients were very tasty, and hopefully locally sourced. I usually leave my hash brown but this was a really good one. Maybe an option for a different type of toast would have been better for me as I found it a bit too dry. Will definitely return when attending the next appointment. Many thanks.

This place is a gem on the North Wales coastline - lovely, tasty food and coffee coupled with wonderful service from the second you walk through the door. Definitely recommend heading here for a hearty breakfast (the locally sourced sausages are a particular highlight) or even a light snack!

Hidden gem away from the town centre with great coffee, cake and amazing service - highly recommend a visit. I think there is limited on street parking at the front but worth a short stroll from the town centre or if you are visiting Lidl nearby.

The food here is AMAZING! So fresh and from local farms as well and the owners are lovely. This is our new fave place to eat 💖

Absolutely gorgeous food, cannot fault this cafe, really welcoming and friendly staff and not a bad price for what you get. I got the chicken flatbread, would 1000% recommend this, it was so tasty. Enjoyed the food that much that came back the next day. The chai latte is also very nice. Lovely decor and relaxing. Not from wales, so will miss this cafe, will definitely have to visit again!

This afternoon we enjoyed lunch at Botanical lounge. The food was incredible; really fresh, tasty and there was a big menu to choose from. The atmosphere is really chilled and the service stayed speedy and friendly even throughout the lunch time rush. Neil is really chatty and knowledgeable and we’re already looking forward to our next visit😁

What a fabulous place right on our doorstep. Came here for the first time today with family and the service and food were absolutely spot on. The decor/ambience is lovely and the service is superb - really attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I was even given a free cake to take home as it was my birthday (this was also really good cake). All 4 of us had different food and all were really really good. New favourite place to go.

Absolutely outstanding! I had a great chat with the owner after being served a 'spicy sausage breakfast' that was honestly incredible. The flavours all came together and made an absolutely incredible meal that I frankly wanted to eat three of. Fantastic place with a interesting decor that I felt totally relaxed to work in for a few hours and grab a bite to eat. I definitely lucked out when choosing where to go, and would definitely make the effort to go back and see what else the menu has to offer!

Thought we would try this place for a coffee which was a good coffee. The place itself is quite nice and the loos were spotless. The menu looked interesting so we thought we may go back sometime to eat. Sadly we were put off when a customer came in with a dog and the dog was allowed on the seating. The dog was walking over the cushions which isn't acceptable. I do hope the staff will stop this happening.

Popped in for a coffee and so glad I did! A well prepared espresso coffee is getting rarer in N Wales. But, I had a perfectly made flat white with local beans. So disappointed I wasn’t hungry as the menu looked excellent. Decor was fresh and fun. Loos immaculate. Can’t wait to go for brunch soon 😀

What a fantastic cafe/bar, let’s just start with the incredible staff this place has they’re so lovely and professional and always a joy from the start of the night until the last minute so 10/10 for these guys Secondly, the cocktails were just the bomb!! I had a few dark and stormys and they just went down a treat and I’ll definitely be coming back to try the other cocktails they have to offer. Definitely recommend this place to anybody who hasn’t been yet it’s a delight
