Stopped here for a late breakfast to find that they are changing the way they do food so only cake and scones were available. Coffee and teas were okay.

Decent, tasty food, served by lovely volunteers. My friend and I had a nice, unhurried lunch in pleasant surroundings today. Well worth a visit.

We found this place by accident after the "dog friendly" West Beach cafe wasn't so dog friendly. It is actually at an hospice and it raises funds. Staff are lovely.... so friendly and the food is great and great value. Highly recommended

We're both from wrexham,but my brother was a patient in this hospice,sadly for us, he died in the hospice in August, he was well looked after by the doctors +all nursing staff,We now call often to visit with flowers for his grave,and we pop to the hospice to have a meal,to support the hospice.Thank you very much for caring for him.His name was Bob Squire.

A lovely cafe run by volunteers. Great food and very clean all through. Very reasonable prices and lovely volunteers. An opportunity to support the hospice in all the great work they do. A lovely experience and will go again definitely.

I had a wonderful lunch here yesterday, after a lovely lady gave me a £20 voucher. I ordered a jacket potato, with cheese and to be honest, I wasn't expecting anything special from this very cheap establishment. Imagine my surprise when along with the potato, came a large plate of salad, which took care of my 5-a-day veg requirements, in one go. The staff were wonderful and extremely friendly, I chatted with several of them, as I waited for my food. I will definitely be eating there again.

Just prior to lockdown had a lovely meal with our older friend. Can't beat it.Friends don't think Hospice is the place to eat but they are very mistaken. Service first class from volunteers and often fun. Food clean, crisp and fresh. A delight. The best fish and chips in town plus wonderful French onion soup, when you can get it on the menu. Love their chicken sandwiches, overflowing salad and, for heaven, add a bowl of firm, crisp tasty chips. How do they do that !!!First class value. este café está dentro del hospicio, pero no dejes que eso te desanime. Nuestra experiencia de la comida y el servicio fue excelente. Los camareros eran voluntarios y fueron muy amables y atentos. los pasteles eran caseros, tuvimos tartas de galletas dulces y galés que podemos recomendar. Estuvimos allí cerca de la hora de cierre, pero no había apresuramiento para nadie. La comida era bastante simple pero de muy buena calidad. El lugar estaba impecablemente limpio. tomamos una bebida y pastel de Gales para cinco de nosotros por menos de diez libras. la ventaja es que estás apoyando una buena causa.

Después de un buen día de paseo fue agradable para relajarse y disfrutar de un té por la tarde. Poder dar algo a las personas que nos mucho que un querido amigo en sus últimos días de su vida. Gracias a todos y cada uno.

La amable Mujer sonriente en el hasta a la izquierda. . Una pequeña tienda frente a todo tipo de venta. Un caso de libro de libros seminuevos.Wc impecable para hombres. Yo tenía café y tarta.Allí está la puerta de Loreto siguiente centro de aspecto genial en el sol de octubre. Está en una ubicación impresionante. Triste ver que lavieja cancha de tenis de Loreto es ahora un bloque de apartamentos.

Very friendly cafe, with just the best cakes and biscuits all homemade, just delicious, Run by volunteers that do such a great job and raise so many funds for the hospice what a fabulous place, it's a must to visit.

I make this cafe a regular stopping point for lunch and in particular on a Thursday afternoon. The staff are always pleasant and polite and the food is excellent

Excelente servicio, personal amable en la cafetería son voluntarios y es amable y compasiva. La comida que se sirve aquí es todo recién hecho y es delicioso, prueba el pescado y patatas fritas en un viernes, una delicia. También prueba los bollos, hechas a mano en las instalaciones de su propia tarta y cocinar pasteles, café caliente, fuerte, espumosos y delicioso. Delicioso.

When will the Staff be taught how to make a proper Cappuccino, with decent coffee taste and a thick frothy top? The cappuccino here is just an overmilky, weak, flat, cup of warm undescribable fluid.

Popped in for a break whilst visiting. Tried the latte and a flapjack. Both were absolutely delicious and would thoroughly recommend. All food looked lovely and service is so warm and welcoming.

Although you are served by volunteers the food is cooked and prepared by professional chefs in the Hospice. The quality is brilliant and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. Would recommend white chocolate and strawberry flapjacks.

Me gustó el almuerzo aquí dos veces semana pasada y disfrutamos de la comida en ambas ocasiones. Las chaquetas vienen con una ensalada y todo parecía generosa y con gusto casero. Una mención especial a los "scones" - la más grande que he visto en mi vida. que me golpeaban, no pude terminar pero deliciosos!

When at times, you need a snack or a drink away from the hustle/ bustle of the town, you want to chill/ relax and take it easy, this is that ideal type of place. Came here to grab a few hot drinks and a couple of cakes/ sandwiches with the kids. Nothing too complicated, it just has a nice and informal feel about it, great to get away from it all type of environment, a place where you can slow things down a notch whilst enjoying a simple drink and snack.

This cafe serves excellent snack lunches and basic refreshments. It is all in a good cause, as the waitresses are trained volunteers and profits go to the Hospice. The staff are friendly and there is a good atmosphere. The food is the same as they serve to the patients and is fresh . Most of the cakes are home-made by local residents.

I am sorry to say that sin e my first review of Cafe Dewi in 2013, we have been regular customers, but over the last few months there have bern changes for the worse. It is virtually imposdible to get a properly made Cappuccino that tastes of coffee. Most present ones offered are mainly very milky, little or no foam and of a rather insipid taste. Some price increases coupled with recuced portion sizes have also not helped. Yes we know it is cheaper than in Town, but with no staffing costs the prices should be competative. Afternoons are now much quieter than they were and the whole ambience of the place has suffered accordingly.

Cafe Dewi is an admirable place for the work they do, but I would just like to write about my experience when I visited. I unfortunately visited at a busy time as I have to travel by mobility scooter I asked where to park the scooter, no problem with that but another scooter came in and hit the front of my scooter. The staff I presume are willing volunteers but the service was a bit chaotic, the food was nice and a good value. I got the distinct impression it was a locals cafe' and they had 'their' tables as I felt most uncomfortable as I was sitting at someone's table. I would never visit this cafe' again as this spoiled my lunch and felt I had to leave as soon as possible.

Popped in for lunch and also for a cake and coffee later in the day, whilst visiting an inpatient at the Hospice. The food was good and the price was good too. The cafe is staffed by volunteers so the service can be variable but they are friendly and helpful. This is an enterprise worth supporting as the profits go to the Hospice.

This cafe is a great asset to the hospice and is run totally by volunteers. Fantastic home made cakes, great soup and lovely baked potatoes with salad. Highly recommended. Just a shame it's not open on a weekend.

Excellent food with amazing soups and professional quality sandwiches. The fish and chips on a Friday are superb.The Mushroom soup is a masterpiece. My favourite lunch venue of all time .Well done

Cafe Dewi is a small intimate cafe and forms part of St David's Hospice, in Llandudno. Cafe Dewi is open 10.00 to 4.00 on weekdays and serves a variety of drinks, snacks and meals. All snacks and meals are prepared fresh in the Hospice Kitchen and served by enthusiastic Volunteers. Their soup and sandwich lunches are one of the best in town and are a generous prtion to satisfy the most voracious appetite. Friday is a popular day when lunch includes their (now) famous Traditional Fish and Chips at just £3.95, certainly excellent value. Advisable to book!Cafe Dewi is a great place to visit whether it is just for a pot ot tea or capuccino, a light lunch or a simple ,well cooked and generous meal.We are regular visitors and find it a very pleasant and reasonably priced cafe.
