My Mum and I went to a wonderful restaurant the service was wonderful the coffee and scones fabulous the decor amazing it would stand out in London we will be back soon thank you Perfect ronnie mathieson

Lovely cafe with plenty of choice. The food is always good quality and freshly made. Nice friendly welcome too from the staff. You might need to wait for a table but it is worth the wait.

Very disappointing. Spotted this cafe when we drove through kirkton of skene. There was a couple outside with a dog. They were served and was hoping we would be next. Only for us to finish our coffee and our order had still not appeared. Only to find that our order had been delivered to another table, who had ordered the same meals as ours and started to eat it. It took ages to pay for our coffees only for the table that had our meal was then complaining that they had not received their drinks. I sat outside and was listening to another family who had ordered coffees takeaway. Only for the woman having placed them In cups to have outside. Too much of a fiasco going on. I will not be back.

The strawberry Bakewell and Turkish Delight traybake were gorgeous, the coffee very good. Thank you!

Over priced cafe £2.50 for the smallest pot of tea I have ever seen I know they have overheads but how much does it cost to make a cuppa

Soup and sandwich couldn’t really go wrong, mmmm both soups were lukewarm warm, my San which brown bread was hard in parts, panini my friend had was lukewarm warm not much of it had been properly toasted. We should have put back but we didn’t. The tomato soup was delicious just a pity not that warm. My friend pea and ham was tasty also but Luke warm. Shame really as my first experience on the new opening was amazing. Would I return, probably, hopefully it was a one off.

It took ages to get seated even though there appeared to be free tables. The staff seemed very disorganised. Slow service. By the time the food arrived I didn't care what it was like, I was ready to eat the table. Drinks were not delivered until we had finished eating, not great when you are after cake AND coffee! Enjoyed it when it did arrive, though over priced.

El personal era agradable, pero tenía que ser impulsado a tomar nuestra orden. Cuando llegó el pedido fue horrible, los bollos estaban tan duros y sobrehorneados que no pudimos cortarlos fácilmente, una vez que logramos cortarlos estaban rancios así que los dejamos en nuestro plato. Nos dijeron que no recibiríamos un reembolso porque ya habíamos pagado por los bollos y solo nos quejamos después. El café estaba caliente. Nunca volveremos y sin duda no recomendaremos el restaurante a nadie. A evitar a toda costa.

I go to the Key every morning, and the front house staff have always brilliant always greeting you with a smile, owners should be extremely proud of their staff especially Sophie who has been in nearly every day for weeks now. Being a Coffee Snob, the coffee is some of the best I have tasted. The only downside lately is the lack of a Chef as I used to enjoy a breakfast roll to take out with my coffee. I really for the young girls who have to tell customers most days recently there is no food due to no Chef working. I am one of many regulars who don't want to lose the best coffee shop in the area. The owners used to come in a few days a week but the last few months there has been no sign of them which is extremely unfair to the girls as they are being left to face some unhappy customers. It would be nice to visit and help the girls.
