Wonderful and cosy country pub with super food, excellent pints and a great choise of whiskies!

Staff are friendly, take away and restaurant are always busy. Good selection of food on the menu and always tastes great. Same with their Ice-cream. Only thing I personally don't like is the fact they now allow dogs in the front restaurant.

Been waiting over 2 hours and foods still not here absolute disgrace service is shocking restraint also refused to give refund which is a disgrace as there service is not fit for purpose

Start with the good - great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Wasn't overly impressed with the food. Place was busy so service was a little slow. They had ran out of ribeye steaks so ordered chicken ceasar salad instead. At £16 for lettuce and few thin bits of chicken I thought it was an expensive meal. I ended up ordering a takeaway later that evening as wasn't filling enough. The kids fish and chips wasn't very crispy, he refused to eat it. I thought it was an expensive meal for what can only be described as below average food. Its disappointing for the floor staff as they are doing a great job. I probably would not have tipped but you don't get that option as the service fee is added on without choice.

The experience was awful. Usually a great pub but I raised concerns about the lock on the disabled toilet. It was starting to fault. Months later, after I advised staff and management about it. I pointed out it was failing, I got locked in! How is a person with disabilities with disabilities able to keep their dignity when the facilities fail us.

I've loved locally for years and on a Sunday generally drank in the pub closest to my home. Today I popped into The Storm Queen. A totally unique experience in Partick, a genuine swing band, live music with great vocals. Staff were amazingly aware and attentive. Cannot praise this enough and hard to believe it was free. I only wish I had discovered it before. Forget the football and give this place a chance. You will not be disappointed.

Food was superb, but atmosphere slightly damaged by the major equipment shifting that was going on!

Used to be a fan of this place, unfortunately tonight I had the misfortune of sitting in the outside heated area with my friend, who happens to be Chinese. The bar staff, who had served my friend and I several times during the evening, chose to sit at a table close to ours and speak very loudly about how much she dislikes coming across 'Asian men' on her dating apps, and how she instantly dislikes them. My friend and I obviously felt uncomfortable at this racist comment and it ruined the night, such a shame to hear a worker of this establishment speak such a nasty view, and so loudly within earshot of other patrons.

Food was good and the Service from Anne was excellent as usual. Mary said the fish was great, pints always enjoyed with a smile.

What a great hidden treasure on miller street. Top suggestion is to try the chicken parmigiana. The drinks on offer are great and some great coffee too.

We enjoyed a tasty lunch here, would happily return. One young staff member was serving all the tables. There appeared to be a photographer taking pictures of the cocktails on offer. Nice atmosphere.

This is a lovely pub, great atmosphere, friendly staff, good music and a good selection of reasonably priced beers. Handy for a few drinks before going off to the Hydro.
