Lovely atmosphere and lovely food, great value for money. Would definitely recommend staff are so friendly. The different displayed teapots are a nice change.

Located up a stair and hidden round a corner, this was a rather unusual tearoom. I guess it was an old hall or something. High ceilings and rafters with a large number of teapots dotted around, I wouldn't describe it as cosy. There is a little platform with a couple of tables at the window which looked cute and a good place to watch the world go by. I had a piece of coffee cake and my daughter ordered the full breakfast which she enjoyed. The coffee cake was nice and home made, and my accompanying coffee was good. My only complaint, really, was that the coffee was served with two little plastic pots of milk, and the ketchup my daughter asked for was two sachets. How much nicer it would have been to have had a little jug of milk and a ramekin of ketchup. I think this cafe could maybe do with an eye to presentation. It wasn't busy on a day when the Costa in the town centre was shut, and I would have expected it to be. The food is fine, but lacking a bit in atmosphere, maybe. Toilets were clean, but a bit makeshift looking. The two ladies who served us were very pleasant.

We had been walking in Mugdock Park and were in the mood for a light afternoon snack. The Tea Cosy was the perfect place. Not only did they have great tea, but also coffee, late and cappuccino. They are located on the second floor of the building, and the room is very spacious, with high ceilings. It was the perfect place to relax after an active day.

Good spot for an inexpensive toasted sandwich or baked potato. Homemade soup pretty good but there are a lot of stairs to get up to get into the restaurant so not ideal for an older or infirm person.

God for lunch and a chat if you can get a seat. The restaurant is always busy and sometimes you have to wait for a seat. However, this is offset by the lovely food, reasonable prices and cosy atmosphere. Also a wonderful display pots!

Called into this tea room on a recent visit back home to Milngavie with my wife, brother, and sister in law. Great range of home made cakes / goodies and coffee to die for. The two young ladies serving were also so cheerful and friendly, highly recommend the Tea Cosy if you are in the Milngavie area

My husband and I come here every Saturday morning for our coffee and scone. The know us so well that we just have to turn up and find a seat(sometimes at the window,to watch the world go by.) when we are seated,we don't need to say what we want and they just bring it with a smile. We would recommend here to any body it is also near the start of the West Highland Way,so it is a good place to start and also to end!

A nice place for an evening meal. There was four in our party and we were seated promptly and served drinks quickly. A short review of a wonderfully limited but connected menu and we all picked the same dish with variations. The haggis bons bons were the bomb! As was the tempura prawn.

This is our local and the staff are always so nice and friendly. Sarah served us tonight and she was great, always had a smile on her face even though it was busy, and was chatting away.
