Excellent service food quality Manners and delivery

Visited on a Sunday with family from England Ordered prawn cocktail..bland ! Mains were a selection ,the chicken Balmoral which should have had the haggis inside it,was presented with haggis under Luke warm mash Mediocre at best,I've dished up better at home ! Could have been warmer,it really was just a plain chicken dinner.and not a big portion Mums roast chicken in comparison had far to much food and who serves mash potato with roast potatoes on the same plate!? Her carrots were hard so no thumbs up their either!! Cheesecake to finish ...passable ! Sorry was really looking forward to it but it was a let down for the money and we won't return 😞

Food was cold customer service was terrible and there faces were tripping them waited ages to be served and when told them about the food being cold and overcooked they didn't care nor apology charged me full price stay well clear will never be back again

Oh this meal was really good and the delivery guy was really appreciative of his tip and also we had been working really hard today and was hankmarvin .

The skinny fires were a greasy congealed mess that fell on to the plate in one lump, added to that they were also uncooked. The black & blue burger, both the burger & black pudding were dry and quite honestly tasteless, the whole lot went in the bin

Food was overcooked bill paid and had to ask for our change!!!! Staff are miserable looking no pleasantries to customers x ladies toilets are disgusting floors unclean full of paper water sinks very wet with discarded make up sponges and paper won't be back for a long time if ever They need some competition to improve their attitude and service

Just terrible! portion size, quality of food. From a £50 order, not a single positive. Very disappointed as we've ordered here many times previously. Called the restaurant and feedback was dismissed out of hand. Won't be ordering again.

Hi today ordered food from this place which is 5 minutes drive from my home. When it arrived everything was stone cold. There was no heat in anything at all. I had to put everything in the bin apart from the pizza, i managed to put it in the oven but i should not need to do that. I order from here a lot but wont do it again. I was also told i cant get my money back for a temperature change. Rediculous

received the complete wrong order. called the restaurant to be told there was nothing they could do about it. offered no resolution apart from reporting on this and ordering again. very poor service.

We are regulars here and we are constantly impressed at the quality of the food. So lucky to have this as our local.

Booked a table for 6pm no problem service was impeccable food was quick to arrive a tasted delicious steak pie my fav cocktails I tried for the first time soo good will be making a regular booking here can't wait to try the rest of the menu especially the cocktail one

Had haggis bon bons and steak pie it was outstanding my partner had prawn cocktail and macaroni he also enjoyed his staff were very attentive didn’t feel rushed between courses great place to eat menus have everything even for the fussy of persons

The waiting staff were lovely . Management a lot to be desired. Happy to take your money but no eye contact or greet you when u arrive . Nothing. we booked upstairs . He was there the whole time and never spoke to us once . Very Rude

Cuestiones siguientes Trajo orden de niños equivocados Pollo asado estaba lleno de huesos en todas partes no comestible Trajo postre de niños incorrectos, retraso con otros postres ya que se los perdieron en el pedido. No volveré.

Absolutely delicious. Fish & Chips were better than my favourite chippy.

Pasta didn’t taste the same as have ordered on previous occasions and seemed like recipe has changed. Kids macaroni didn’t taste good either. We love the food from the Avenue but not on this occasion.

Driver did not pick up our order, but marked it as "Delivered". Phoned Avenue, confirmed that the food was still sitting in hot bin and driver had never picked it up. Driver refused to pick it up, Avenue can't give us a refund. Absolutely shocking.

Go there often. Atmosphere is really good.

Music quiet in comparison to folk chatting and probably not great for elderly or the hard of hearing. Atmosphere generally lively and good for families including kids. This is great for this type of restaurant. Staff all friendly and couldn't do enough for you - can't fault them at all. Set Menu for Fathers Day priced the same as The Ivy but I can't honestly say they held the same standard for all of the courses. Had topside of beef which was incredibly fatty - usually a leaner cut. Cauliflower cheese was inconsistent with mines quite watery but others was perfect! Overall food was decent otherwise (especially the starters were lovely. Drinks were good, on the higher end of pricing but well prepared so I'd say more worth it. A wee bit disappointed but I'd go back for their lunch special or for just drinks 🍸

ordered the lousiana which has been a favorite, hadn't noticed a change from red onion to caramailzed onion. Absolutely drowned in it and very much not for me. Couldn't eat it, although very much personal taste, others may like it. Sad about the change however.

Driverwas 1st rate - friendly, polite & professional

ordered a cheese burger. it came plain no sauce or cheese. skinny Fries were OK. ordered haggis bom boms the sauce was all over the box, tried one and the pink pepper corn sauce tasted like gravy. also got the nachos had everything on it apart from the guacamole but it tasted of nothing. even the portion size aint worth it.waste of money. Have had a few sit in meals and they have always been nice wouldn't recommend a delivery tastes as if it from a different place. very disappointed

Food was delicious my only complaint is that the delivery driver didn't shut my gate if you open a gate to deliver when you leave shut the gate when your finished just lasyness on his part 😠😡😡👇

Quick lunch. Quiet, probably due to awful roadworks and total lack of parking in bishopbriggs. Food and coffee very nice. Good service. Would go again.

Celebrated a family member's birthday here. Food was great, staff were friendly and the drinks were wonderful! Also had a fabulous gluten-free menu, would highly recommend.

The local bar establishment in my local town. Quiet few drinks, and staggering distance to get home.

My partner and myself fancied a good roast dinner and thought the ideal venue was The AVenue so we tried the 2 courses for £18.95 and I have to my starter of prawn cocktail was very good and I my partners chicken liver pate with caramelised onion chutney and toasted soda bread was delicious but the main course arrived which was roast beef Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes and vegetables which was filling but disappointing with ready made frozen Yorkshire pudding and what looked like precooked frozen potatoes, the broccoli was fantastic but seasoned and tasted like it had been stir fried with sesame oil, if I had wanted a roast like this I would have chose a cafe, I have to say the food is usually excellent at the Avenue and I have friends who eat there regularly and love it and I have seen for myself really good food being taken to tables when I have called in for a drink but what I was served was very poor and should not have been served at The Avenue because as a restaurant with a great atmosphere its better than that

A warm welcoming Bar and Restaurant with a good selection of drinks. I haven't tried the food yet but definitely plan to as the food looks lovely and delicious!

Meat was really fatty and tough this is the second time roast potatoes were hard

Sunday Roast Dinner is more like a child's dinner. Certainly not value for money.

Nice bar, good food and super friendly staff especially the young lady who helped me carry my drinks upstairs! Bar is a wee bit slow but the cocktails are worth the wait!

Very tasty food, travelled well from Bishopbriggs all the way to Possil, Cajun pasta was outstanding and the skinny fries were amazing

The katsu sauce was watery and tasted nothing like katsu. Side peppercorn sauce was just as bad. Shame as the burgers are fine here so didn’t expect this meal to be so bad.

This food is top notch, highly recommend the pizza, fajitas and ofcourse the fish and chips...they literally serve a portion of fish which could be mistaken as a shark 🦈 service is quick, prices are good for the large portions, and stuff and very friendly staff...Great atmosphere, now to try Mahonys steak house...high hopes. 🤞🏻 Ps, don't go Lavita...not worth it.
