Thomas Muir Coffee Shop in East Dunbartonshire

We visited today for the first time, the cafe was busy and we were told that there may be a wait for our food. This was not to be, the staff patiently took our order, and the food arrived without delay. This place does not do stress, they do smiles. Thank you for looking after us, we will be back.

Visited the coffee shop on Wednesday, Christmas gift from my daughter. We had afternoon tea which was such a treat, beautiful sandwiches, plenty of choice of fillings. To follow a selection of cakes and a scone with jam and butter. Plenty of tea.the service was great with very friendly chatty staff. I'm so glad we found this place.

My friends have been a few times but this was my first visit and I was not disappointed. It is hidden away and you would probably drive past it if you didn't know it was there - and more's the pity. We went for Saturday lunch and the food was delicious. A great thing is that a small plate or a regular plate is offered, which was excellent since two of our guests were small eaters. The only thing that they could do with is making a soup and regular sandwich part of a meal-deal the same as the small soup and half sandwich, as when you pay for them separately, it is quite expensive, but that would not put me off coming back.

Mi hijo y mi esposa me llevaron aquí para un almuerzo de cumpleaños. Obviamente, en estos tiempos difíciles, mi hijo había reservado con anticipación y cuando llegamos a la hora acordada nos recibieron con una sonrisa amistosa, nos tomaron la temperatura y luego nos llevaron a nuestra mesa. El menú era amplio y variado y todos elegimos algo diferente. Las comidas fueron servidas por una amable y alegre camarera que fue muy atenta. Todas las comidas se veían y sabían muy bien con todo tan fresco. La hora que nos asignaron pareció pasar volando. pero ciertamente fue una hora bien aprovechada. Al dejar nuestra mesa vi algunas porciones de pan de jengibre helado y no pude resistirme a darme un capricho. El resto de mi familia declinó porque estaban tan llenos del almuerzo. Bueno, eso no me detuvo y la atenta camarera me dio la porción más grande ya que era mi cumpleaños. Excelente servicio al cliente.

La comida es muy buena ya un precio muy razonable: la selección de pasteles caseros (especialmente la rebanada del paraíso) es increíble. El café es de calidad y también tienen una selección de jarabes. Vale la pena detenerse en Bishopbriggs con amigos o familiares

A group of us visit here after Springburn parkrun. Staff are always attentive, well mannered, friendly and pay attention to detail. Food and drinks piping hot and toilets spotless. No problem with splitting the bill amd nothing ever too much trouble.

After running 5K at Springburn parkrun about 10 of us went here for brunch. They served us very quickly and everyone enjoyed their breakfast. Most people had rolls with either sausages, bacon or eggs. A few added a potato scone as a treat. A couple opted for cakes and proclaimed them lovely.Everything was freshly cooked and the baking was very fresh. All in all a great visit.

My self my wife and our 3 year old grand daughter visited the cafe today excellent service and great food highly recommend

Slightly expensive for the quality you get. But overall, it was ok. Two things (other than the price let it down). We had to ask for condiments, and share a tub of mayo. And there's no table service for the bill. Sort those two things, review would have been ****. £2-3 cheaper and it would have been *****.

I meet friends here regularly as the home baking is the best in Glasgow. Everything made fresh on the premises so as soon as you enter you can smell fresh baked scones and home made soup. The lunch selection is extensive but we usually settle for soup and sandwich with a “wee” toffee cup or empire. Excellent food & service.

This great little coffee shop sells more than coffee. Lunchtime favourites like macaroni cheese, baked potatoes and paninis are all fresh and delicious generously portioned eats. Home baking also goes down a treat. Staff are friendly and attentive. My only criticism is that it is not open on Sundays (and it always feels like a Sunday I fancy that kind of lunch out).

Lovely cafe with lovely people. The cakes looked delicious but I was too full after my hearty bowl of chicken and rice soup to have one. Good reason to return though. Highly recommend. Good parking and suitable for wheelchairs

The place is lovely ,good food ,friendly staff, no complaints,but for 2 we paid 26 pounds for lunch ,tea and a cake!!. So quite pricey, but a nice bit of home baking.
