Euro2024 match - in good atmosphere

We didn't eat here but was a cosy bar that looked like it expanded way back and up the stairs too. Was really nice to sit and chill in.

No food for me. Just popped in for a relaxing drink.

Not a real Irish pub. Decent food, friendly staff and really appreciated the music not blaring your ears off. They were out of the lunch special I wanted so I chose something else (no big deal). Then I asked for the brown on tap…but they were out of that too. No problem, give me an old fashioned. I was in shock that the bartender didn’t know what that was. No old fashioned, no whiskey sour….but if you want a spritz or pink Gordon’s or a light beer, this is your place. I came 4,000 miles for whiskey. Lucky for me there’s a few more pubs to try

Had a lovely double cheese burger with some chips. It came out perfectly and chips where perfect as well and they were lovely and crispy Staff were lovely and very helpful. Inside it was nice and looked nice and tidy. Thanks

One of my favourite pubs in town, come in regularly and we are always really well taken care of by the team (particularly Brian and Sarah). Food and drinks are consistently great and reasonably priced. We also recently celebrated my partner's 30th birthday upstairs and it was a fantastic space, everyone had a great time and the staff were so accommodating.

I have no issues with O'Neills had a nice time .Will definitely go back again.

Short of staff waited ages for the burgers. Eventually went to the bar and they chased it up. The wrong order came, then once returned we received what we ordered. Only problem, it was stone cold. Received a refund and headed out.

Although my food was ok my sister ordered the spice bag, tandoori chicken and donner meat, it was like a dogs breakfast, Disgusting price for disgusting food seems to be O'Neill's philosophy now. I have ate at this pub many times before O'Neill's took over and never once had a bad meal but never again.

We had our friends hen party here as it’s right next to work. Great night, good fun and good food. Staff were very accommodating, especially Roberta, Kat and Connor. Would highly recommend as we had the upstairs area to ourselves and could still enjoy the live band downstairs.

Awful. Terrible service. Most tables filled with plates and glasses. Staff looked like they couldn’t be bother to clean it. It wasn’t that busy place was a riot. No soap in toilets. I would avoid

Here for a function and the staff were absolutely amazing. Jack, Brian and Conner were more than hospitable and created such a welcoming and warm environment. Felt comfortable asking them any equation I had and was served with a smile everytime!!

Stopped in for an afternoon beverage. Fast service. Big area, with lots of seating, including a beer garden.

Fab pub in central Glasgow Easily booked a table online to watch a 6 nations match whilst in Glasgow. Quick service via bar or an app, plenty screens and friendly staff.

Great wee day! Started our day out here after getting off the train. Lovely pub shame about the location. A different entrance would be good, away from the bus stop. The girl serving was very nice. I think her name was Alice? Anyway very good.

I visit this pub regularly for a few years already with my partner and occasionally on my own. Great, friendly and professional staff. It will always be a pleasure to have a few drinks and a dinner/lunch in here. 5 stars out of 5 from me.

Had fish and chips. Chips were cold and no choice of peas only mushy which I do not like.

Security get very aggressive with ordinary punters at closing time. The public are allowed 15 minutes to leave a premises at time up in the UK but you are treated like an animal here. As about as far removed from an Irish bar as it's possible to be.

Aggressive staff. An unwelcoming place. Didn't feel comfortable so we left.

Amazing place to hangout with your friends. The atmosphere is lit and the music is not too loud allowing you to have nice conversations. Food was delicious and service is as fast as possible.

This is a good pub but for some reason it pops up under a Wetherspoons search…and the price of my pint was £1.10 more expensive than said spoons! …just saying 🙄

What an amazing place. Lovely atmosphere and amazing staff. I have to mention the lovely bar staff member called Aimee who was so kind and approachable and served us with a smile.

My friend’s band were playing and it was a really fun and enjoyable evening. Great music and tasty beers. Generally the staff were friendly and efficient. However, the security staff at the end of the night were so rude. Their behaviour was aggressive and unpleasant. Their behaviour and attitude took away from what had been a great evening.

Came here last week for our staff night out, we used the area upstairs and it was more than ideal! Allowed us to use projector and speaker and provided us with fabulous pizzas and cocktails 🍸

We had a team night out and were in the upstairs mezzanine. The area was fantastic, the food we ordered was delicious but the biggest highlight of the evening was how great the team who were looking after us were. So huge thanks to Connor, Alice and Jamie for being fantastic!

Service was good, food was quick and tasty, and I would recommend the lunch deal, but was along the way to the ladies' toilet

Went here for a works night out, mainly for the central location but it became so much more. Drinks were reasonably priced and the place was packed, not overly so as the bouncers did a good job of monitoring the place. They had a live band which we had no idea about and they turned out to be great and really got the crowd going. All in all a good night was had by all, no real complaints. Good rated a 3 as I only saw it and never tried it.

Our first visit here after reading the good and bad reviews . Decided to come in to give it a go. No regrets! Food are way so much better than wetherspoon pub. I had gammon steak and I love the fresh cut pineapple. Definitely value for money. We will back here more often. I would recommend to my friends . P/s I have never given 5* for food, service and atmosphere in one go but this pub deserves my five stars. We loved O'Neil pub. Foods was always good. Lovely friendly staff.

I was pretty unimpressed with the bouncers tonight i have to say. They had absolutely no care, or duty of care for a very drunk vulnerable young girl that they wouldnt allow her back into the bar trying to get to get back to her friends that were inside the bar. Her phone was dead and they would not phone her a taxi when i asked (my phone was unfortunately also out of battery) and would not allow her inside to ask the staff to call her one or to speak to her friends to call her one. She was drunk and vulnerable and there were a lot of creeps around outside the bar. Really not cool, put a lot of pressure on me just trying to have a quiet drink and i could not leave her alone. Your bouncers need to be spoken to regarding this. She was causing no issue at all, just trying to get home and needed help and they could not of cared less. Disgusting attitudes.

Service was a little slow as there was not enough bar staff imo for the time of year. Prices and everything else were spot on though. Maybe open up the bar upstairs again especially at the time of year

As usual at this seasonal time the Pub is very busy, but with great atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Was in recently with my daughter before the Jamie Webster gig at the 02 had a couple ov drinks watched some football had a chat with the barmaid who was very pleasant and friendly

I recommend the chorizo and hummus skewer! Also the staff is very friendly and the live band was good too 👍

Food was good although the order we made at the bar wasn't what arrived but just a mistake which they rectified. Typical big chain pub, does what you expect. Have been many times and will be back again

Lovely meals, very tasty and reasonably priced.

Can’t fault the bar staff on this visit and the physical surroundings are acceptable but the street it’s on is genuinely horrendous and a massive turn off. Also still having a toilet attendant complete with aftershaves and deodorant in 2023 just seems plain wrong.

We had a great time at O'Neills. The occasion was a family get together ❤️. We had drinks which where reasonably priced and the staff where friendly and attentive. We had a chat with Roberta who was very nice and helpful. I will definitely return in the near future .

6 people in pub ! Dead atmosphere. Doorman basically pulling glass out of your hand at 10.45pm! Told him he was discriminating against people who didn't work there

Apparently staff have no Ideas what a disability is......I'm disguted with treatment by staff after we had been in for several hours......we met by chance with some foreign friends, who did NOT enjoy experience in city. .train your bloody staff better......I'm a looooong term patron who will not return

We had a family function on Saturday for my in laws 40th wedding anniversary. We managed to get a lovely little private area which was able to be decorated. The waitress Roberta (I think it is) was amazing, she went above and beyond to accommodate us and our plans to surprise my in laws. Food was amazing and all had fun.

Booked a section for a party of 14-20 people for food and drinks to celebrate a special occasion (40th anniversary) from calling to book space right through to on the night service was amazing, Roberta in particular ensured everything went smoothly and perfect, nothing was a bother and so accommodating , food was amazing , atmosphere was amazing and staff were amazing! We will definitely be back thank you so much Oneills Roberta & the team ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🩷

thanks to Roberta for looking after us last night, we booked for a surprise 40th anniversary meal/drink. we were made to feel very welcome and as a group of 14, food was served quickly and with no hassles!

Had a wee section for my mum and dad's 40th anniversary, Roberta was brilliant from start to finish! Very welcoming and accommodating for us all! Highly recommend based on this alone but food was a bonus!

Lovely joint for a decent pint. Clean , spacious, friendly staff with a good range of drinks at a good price. Will be popping in again when I'm in the area.

Two steak dishes and a bottle of wine, all for under £40....so no complaints there. Early evening meal, so fairly quiet atmosphere but everything good.

Located in a sketchy area of town, we were very uncomfortable walking around outside for dinner.

Excellent venue, we hired an area for a party of 20, the staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. Atmosphere was amazing, food and drinks were fantastic and very reasonably priced would recommend to anyone looking for a good night out in town.

Brian and the tram went out of their way to accommodate us after we had to move the location of our family birthday party. They got us designated space, plentiful food and were attentive. Would return.

Our 30th Birthday celebrations had to relocate last minute. Brian and the team at Union street helped us out. Got an area for us all made sure we were well looked after. Fed us all ( loads of food available unlike a lot of places that might just serve a few nibbles) really enjoyed it.

Love this place, came to visit for the first time early sept and can't wait to come back. Roberta and the team were friendly and funny and couldn't do enough for us. I had the pleasure of spending time here tonight with my son and my husband. The staff are very welcoming, efficient and want to give the customer a very positive experience.They succeed in this. It seems to be an ideal sports pub with plenty screens but the food here is very good too. They have an extensive menu at very reasonable prices. They were more than happy to cater for specific needs. I had a delicious steak cooked to my taste. I would recommend O’Neills to anyone wanting good food in a very welcoming atmosphere.

We recently visited Glasgow and found this great pub close to the station. Cracking atmosphere, attentive and speedy bar service, good amount of seating provided, we loved it and would recommend to anyone looking for a good selection of beers, drinks and atmosphere.
