Warm friendly. Very reasonably priced

Service has really declined since new owners took over and most of the staff appear to have been replaced. The stuff struggle to understand what your asking for and on multiple occasions have gotten orders wrong or forgotten to bring parts over.

El peor sándwich de baguette de NY Deli que he tenido, la baguette era vieja y casi me rompo los dientes mordiéndola. Me gustaría por un costo caro de £ 7. 25 Te habrían dado pan fresco. Tan decepcionante y un desperdicio de dinero. Terrible, no recomiendo comer aquí.

Went in with the family before work, took an hour and a quarter to get a steak sandwich that was absolutely stone cold when we got it, my partner who will NEVER complain ended up calling the waitress over and saying to her, she asked if we wanted to send it back but we told her we didn't have time she said she would see someone about the bill but when we got up to leave she disappeared, the boy at the till didn't give us a penny off and was actually quite rude as he said nothing just pushed the card reader over , no thanks no goodbye nothing, will never darken their door again, and as for cheapest steak sandwich in town no wonder it was the smallest steak sandwich I've ever seen, the floor was sticky as well. 👎

Brilliant burger very tasty with the caramelised onions and love a smash burger 😍 fries are also delicious. Highly recommend

Fantastic little cafe, great food at great prices!

Like a lot of pubs clubs and restaurants this place is shutting it's doors unfortunately these days are totally different too around 15 20 years ago. Sad but a sign of the times folk just don't use these places as much as they used to ..

Regular morning visits with a young man who has additional support needs. The staff are very friendly and know his order and get it for him quickly so he is not waiting around. Early bird breakfast is great value for money and the menu is extensive with all good quality food. Halal food prepared and I also visit with a young Asian woman. Ideal as there are few sit in cafes to meet her needs.

Visited on a Sunday with family from England Ordered prawn cocktail..bland ! Mains were a selection ,the chicken Balmoral which should have had the haggis inside it,was presented with haggis under Luke warm mash Mediocre at best,I've dished up better at home ! Could have been warmer,it really was just a plain chicken dinner.and not a big portion Mums roast chicken in comparison had far to much food and who serves mash potato with roast potatoes on the same plate!? Her carrots were hard so no thumbs up their either!! Cheesecake to finish ...passable ! Sorry was really looking forward to it but it was a let down for the money and we won't return 😞

We visited with friends but hadn’t been for a few years. The seat we were initially given was at the window & was too sunny! But we were reseated without any fuss. We had nacho sharers (home made tortillas 👍), fajitas, Katsu chicken & scampi-all delicious. We were expertly served by the lovely Samantha who we chatted with when we were paying-she is a credit to the team who were all v pleasant-we will be back 👍👏

Staff were all absolutely lovely but food left a lot to be desired. Macaroni cheese had no cheese or seasoning in the sauce just some cheese melted on top. There was no salt on any of the tables close to us either. First portion of onion rings were brought to the table burnt. The steak and ale pie the bottom pastry was brick hard and the top pastry was under cooked. The broccoli was also undercooked. After complaining about the macaroni and the onion rings we were then too embarrassed to say about the pie too. As already said the staff were lovely and did sort us out with a refund on the macaroni and fresh onion rings but it didn't make up for the food.

Ordered a sausage supper. Chips were v nice. Sausage was woeful. Fell to bits when I lifted it.

Lovely place and selections, affordable too. Four stars because I am not a fan of scanning the QR code plus they stopped serving churros 😭
