The Jenny Burn in Glasgow City

Went last night for a meal with my family 2 adults, 2 kids. Waitress was so friendly and attentative. It was busy because of the football but we were served quickly and didn't have long to wait for our meal. Our food was tasty. Would definitely return.

They didn't pick up the phone when I tried to get booking. When I arrived they sent us back home, although they saw im with the person on wheelchair

They didn't pick up the phone when tried to make booking. They sent back home me and my old mother on wheelchair. When we asked for table outside, they answer they can't do that because of weather (there was no rain, nice and warm evening). I think it was just lack of good will...

Claire H was really helpful, friendly and informative about the menu on offer and items that were not available due to the current shortage situation. She checked in with us half way through our meal to make sure everything was okay for us. We were not rushed out the door and were not made to feel that we were overstaying our welcome. All in all, an enjoyable Saturday lunch out for the two of us. Thank you to all the staff, especially Claire H.

We had a lovely first visit to this place. A little find with a lovely walk out back round the lake. The food was delicious and fast service. Angela was serving our table and was excellent. Very efficient and friendly. Will definitely be back and bring family too.

Had time to waste while our cat was at the emergency vet so we came here for a bit of dinner. Arrived 2045, but kitchen was closing at 2100. The lovely staff cooked for us, and even included a dessert. Suzie was so lovely, and our thanks must also go to the kitchen staff. Great team.

Service is always great and timely. We had an issue with a burger last time but was resolved straight away. Food and drinks are good value for money Place is lovely and clean.

Angela was great , attentive to our needs but not intrusive. Angela was very good with all the kids and helped our 3 yr old to choose his lunch , will return child free and try dinner.

2nd visit I had the curry which was good my wife had the hotdog which wasn't that good but overall a good venue

Went on a really sunny day and had a great time in the beer garden. Pub was really busy so had a great atmosphere. Staff were run off their feet yet we still didn’t wait long for drinks or food. They were still polite and attentive despite the amount of people there. Ordered the katsu chips which were so good, I ordered them again a few hours later. Will definitely be back.

Had such a great time here today with my partner , the food service and atmosphere is just perfect everytime, we are regulars and are never let down , Angela always caters to our every need, such a lovely friendly kind person with a beautiful heart, she makes it's a pleasure to visit the jenny burn, can't wait to come back, thankyou x

Cuatro de nosotros vinimos ayer. Había un extenso menú completo y un menú a la hora del almuerzo. Mi amiga requería comida sin gluten y estaba muy contenta con la cantidad de opciones sin gluten disponibles y eligió Hunter's Chicken que recomendaría. Angela era nuestra camarera y era encantadora, un activo definitivo para The Jenny Burn. Ella discutió las opciones sin gluten y tenía un muy buen conocimiento de ellas.

Asistir al Jenny burn regular y esta fue la peor visita que he experimentado, la comida pedida se aconsejó 45 minutos de espera y esperó 1 hora 15 minutos, entonces la comida llegó estaba congelada, así que luego lo recalentaron en el microondas para que el pollo luego supiera a goma, así que lo envié de nuevo. El personal es amable y no hay culpa, pero el personal de cocina necesita una sacudida.

First class service from online booking to service at the table. Food choice is great and the service was excellent

First visit since the refit and has lost any atmosphere it had before with the food horrific. The whole meal was off colour with steak looking particularly pale with no taste. It's a real shame because it is my local

Table 13-4pm booking Ordered hunters chicken and ordered sweet potato fries instead of normal fries. I Wasnt happy as charged an extra £2.79 on top of the full price for the meal for sweet potato fries instead of normal fries. I was charged for both fries and sweet potato fries. I have allways ordered the hunters chicken in the past and never had this issue over an over charge before. Also the bacon looked like it had just been burnt and just threw on the plate, instead of wrapped around the chicken, no presentation by the chef, maybe a new chef as was allways fine before the re opening, we visit regularly and allways enjoyed the food and allways great service by staff.

Food could have been presented better and a better portion as it wasn’t a lot.

We eat often on a Wednesday after our daughters dance lesson usually 1/2 times a month. The staff are always on point and very helpful and attentive without being over the top. Always a friendly and warm environment and nothing is ever a hassle. Food is always delicious and have never had a bad meal.

Fantastic place to go for something to eat or drink. The food is excellent and the service is first class. Angela (server) is brilliant and is always eager to make sure your area catered to. Very friendly, highly recommended.

Took my family for lunch here, very cosy and the food was excellent, the service was outstanding. Suzie was serving our table as well as another young girl and they could not have been any more friendly or helpful than they were especially Suzie. Lovely, warm atmosphere - like an old, cosy pub but spacious. Friendly, helpful staff and superbly tasty pub-type food. Best nachos I've tasted for a very long time. Dog friendly with water and treats table for dogs.Worth going out of your way to visit.

Great wee restaurant, suitable for all ages groups. Plenty parking, great location, seconds from motorway, great menu and food and staff are amazing. Top marks from me.

Keira met my wife and me at the door. She was very friendly and helpful, explaining the new layout and how we order our food. I ordered at the bar, allowing us to customize the order in a way the app doesn't allow. The bar staff were lovely and friendly. We both had the mixed grill and it was amazing. The staff were very attentive at the table, I love this personal touch when going out for a meal; it makes the experience much more enjoyable. We sat in the new bar for a quick drink before heading home. We love the new layout, and there was such a pleasant atmosphere. We will be back soon :-)

Cold food, no dipping sauce with my burger. Overall not good, sadly we would probably would have a better burger from McDonald's or at least warm.

Monday afternoon after being on holiday for 3 weeks and feeling a little blue, enter Angela, an Angel from heaven and an inspiration and just what I needed. Cheery smiley and infectious, nothing was too much bother, PLUS the food was excellent as well. A big thanks to all the staff

Myself and my partner had the Sunday roast today for £16 it was very poor beef was fatty and stringy not a lot of it broccoli was dried up and hard definitely does not reflect the price. Pudding was meant to be hot chocolate fudge cake with ice cream we were informed the freezer broke so they only had chocolate ice cream or cream we took the cream the hot fudge cake was cold and stodgy definitely not what we paid for. If you are going to serve average pub grub then you need to reflect on your price. Only good part about our experience was our server Anita lovely lady

We went for breakfast along with our two dogs, we were all welcomed, water, biscuits and a blanket for the dogs which they loved. Breakfast was delicious, portions were big I couldn’t finish mine. Anita our server was amazing looking after all of us. Can’t wait to return.

Staff are very welcoming and very pleasant. Gave us plenty time to choose our meals etc before ordering and the speed of ordering to table was excellent. We also like how although this is mainly a pub that families are still welcome later on in the evening on a busy Saturday night especially as the football was on not far from here. Was a very welcome eatery and place for drinks ...food was fantastic😋 my husband and I had breakfast and all served up by the lovely Siobhan who was a delight .(it was a very wet and cold Saturday morning as the storm had really hit us all on the Friday ...) She was very chatty and welcoming ...our lovely breakfast was well cooked(scrambled eggs lovely and fluffy) thanks our chef Liam ...and all in a lovely calm relaxing area.🙌🏼 It also has a dog friendly area which Ofcourse is a big bonus to dog lovers...(as I am). We had everything we needed..perfect . We will 100% return again ...soon ...(perhaps with our dog phoebe next time )🐾❤️

Lovely, staff are always so kind and welcoming. I feel very comfortable in the restaurant with my 5 year old. They accommodate any reasonable request and the food is always good portions and yummy. It's great the venue has a section for children and outdoor space, it really is so rare to see a place that takes children in mind like this, it makes us want to visit lots. Menu options are always good for adults and for kids, we always find something nice to order

We were in today for a birthday lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice place with a good atmosphere. Very friendly staff and the food was good. A young guy (luke)took very good care of us. A very pleasant afternoon.

Came on a busy football night as a table of 9 to which we appreciate the accommodation. New menu with a whole variety of food to choose from and it did not disappoint, everything was delicious and didn’t take too long despite the football crowd being in. Milo our server looked after us very well. The katsu fries hit the spot and are a great addition to the menu. Look forward to our next visit 😊

I have been to the Jenny Burn several times recently, sometimes for food & sometimes just coffee. I have been served by various members of staff and they consistently offer fantastic service. Food is always excellent as well! Well done to the management in keeping your service to the highest standards! (Give the waitresses a pay rise)

The staff are lovely. They are also flexible with the food orders as my elderly uncle can't eat a full portion. I take my uncle there every week and the staff know him. He loves the banter with them:) The types of food they serve suit both of us as my uncle likes traditional foods like roast dinners while I love a curry or pasta.

Dog friendly, separate section, water bowls available. Food was tasty and staff were friendly and helpful. Decent sized car park and grassy area beside the beer garden to take the dogs to if needed.

Family of 8 ranging from 70yr - 5yrs. Includes 3 kids and a teen. And managed to please everyone. Staff were super helpful accommodating and patient. Food was delightful no complaints from anyone and our glasses were never empty. This is the 1st year we have ventured out for new year Dinner as we normally have it at home and it was a very pleasant experience 😀

Been here a few times over the years last year we booked Christmas which we enjoyed that much we booked again this year even when prices were increased. We were given a two hour window to enjoy our Christmas meal afraid this year the quality was poor, 4 different parties were standing in doorway waiting to be seated for 10mins. Starter came out within 10 mins of sitting down which were burn and tasted like had been reheated all day,within 5 mins of finishing the main was brought out which looked and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp, felt we were rushed to get in and finish without able to enjoy. The drinks we normally buy had increased to over than city centre prices. After this year I wouldn’t recommend booking for Christmas dinner, would rather book somewhere in the city centre like miller and carter as even when they ask for little more but a lot better service.

Got a Sunday roast barely any roast beef very thin and some chunks of turkey and hard broccoli 4 tiny roast potatoes and one scoop of mash would not recommend for over £16 it was supposed to be the larger portion.my partners chips were hard and really crispy not with the bother.

Annual visit to the excellent Santa Breakfast. The team serving the food were excellent. Santa and the two elves provided excellent entertainment for all the kids attending. Thanks to all and have a Merry Christmas

The weather was frightful and I needed to get out of the house. I had some writing to do and I was allowed to sit and write and enjoy a fantastic breakfast and a wonderful dessert after a couple of hours of writing. It was relatively quiet as I imagine not many wanted to venture outside in the snow and rain. Anita was incredibly attentive, polite and very kind. I highly recommend this establishment if you're looking for great food at affordable prices plus, an added bonus, they're pet friendly and even have pet bowls for food and water and pet menus available - incredible! 💗
