The Jenny Burn in Glasgow City

The weather was frightful and I needed to get out of the house. I had some writing to do and I was allowed to sit and write and enjoy a fantastic breakfast and a wonderful dessert after a couple of hours of writing. It was relatively quiet as I imagine not many wanted to venture outside in the snow and rain. Anita was incredibly attentive, polite and very kind. I highly recommend this establishment if you're looking for great food at affordable prices plus, an added bonus, they're pet friendly and even have pet bowls for food and water and pet menus available - incredible! 💗

Very homely and warm. staff friendly. reasonably priced. food was very good. Very clean inside.

I always come here staff are great and Milo he's great very friendly and always has a smile on his face. They always have what I want on the menu. But I really think you could do with more staff sometimes but overall great.

Restaurant very welcoming and cosy. Staff are lovely. However few issues with our food. Bread served with soup was stale & rock solid. My daughter got chicken wings sharer and they were burnt black. I had loaded chips and chips were pretty cold. However with it being my first visit I would probably visit again to see if things are better

Five of us met for lunch here - we opted for the smaller lunch menu & it was lovely- the fish was lovely and fresh & all of us enjoyed our choices- an extra £2.50 only to add a starter or pudding- really good value. The staff (Angela) & the other lady whose name I didn’t catch were very friendly and welcoming. We will defo go back - nice & relaxing place to spend time catching up with friends. Great parking too. Would recommend 👍😊

Disabled parking near the front door, which really helped get the birthday boy to the meal for his 82nd. Excellent food, served nice & hot, that everyone really enjoyed. Angela our waitress regularly passed & asked if we needed anything else , but without being intrusive. Great selection of beers & wine, not forgetting my personal favourite... Inch's cider 😋 All-round a thoroughly enjoyable day was had by all

Staff are always attentive and capable. My son loves the Pizzas - thin crust, his favourite. It also has play area for young kids too. Will be back.

Lovely dog friendly pub. Staff were friendly and service was brilliant. We both had macaroni cheese with a side of chips. Macaroni comes with crispy onions on top, bbq drizzle and a side of garlic bread. We asked for the bbq drizzle to be left off the macaroni. Everything was delicious. We both cleared our plates. Highly recommend. Doggie menus also available.

Very friendly service, Angela is friendly and attentive and checked in with us to see how our meals were. She has a warm demeanour. The food is very nice and good quality and very fairly priced. We got the steak and ale pie and the Philly steak baguette meals. Would recommend a meal here 10/10

Went in today for my other halfs brothers birthday meal and was greeted by friendly staff and seated quickly. After looking through the menu and deciding what to eat, Luke came and served us. He was friendly and polite and helped us with any customisations we had. The food was amazing, and I would highly recommend it to anyone that hasn't been!

Underrated little place especially for breakfast, had a Scottish and my partner had a large Scottish and both were delicious. Anita was our server and was very attentive, very good service.

Great food, great atmosphere, excellent food and very helpful and attentive staff. From kitchen to waiting staff. Fantastic for kids also with a play area and claw machine.

My husband and I popped in for a drink. First time in we loved it and were impressed with the dog area nice to see fur babes allowed and treated so well. There is a nice atmosphere in the whole restaurant. We went back later for dinner and were wow'ed again. A huge menu made it challenging to choose as we kept seeing something else everything was reasonably priced and well described. The food was delicious, our mains all came at the same time. Ample portions. Staff could not have been nicer or done more for us. A real gem of a place. We will most definitely be back.

Served by luici who was magnificent and great with the kids. Food was OK for a Sunday roast I thought it would be better quality chicken was soft but roastes and veg weren't up to much.

My brother's sixtieth was held tonight and the service was brilliant , the food was lovely and the staff were very accommodating. There was plenty for younger kids and a pool table for teen-agers..... Massive 👍

My wife and I are regular patrons of the Jenny Burn along with our Cavazhu Charly, usually accompanied by my Granddaughter and her partner. We all agree that the Jenny location is great, the atmosphere welcoming and cosy but most of all we always find the staff helpful, caring and efficient. Their attention to our needs (including Charly's) is admirable - not intrusive - just natural and professional. The main menu food is always well presented, tasty and served piping hot with cool water and a few treats for our furry friend! All this allied to the fact that the place is ever clean and tidy even during busy times over the weekend or when inundated by football supporters - who we have found to be well catered for and thereby well behaved. All in all a great experience in a great place with a great staff. Well done Jenny!!!

We visited the Jenny Burn for my mums 83rd birthday and it's the 3rd time we've been I can honestly say we had a good time and Angela who has served us each time we've been has given us fabulous service Thank you

Angela was great , attentive to our needs but not intrusive. Angela was very good with all the kids and helped our 3 yr old to choose his lunch , will return child free and try dinner.

I rarely leave 5 star reviews but I was very impressed with the JB. In short, it was faultless. The food was tasty, the service was excellent and friendly and the premises were clean. Pricing and menu choice was also good. What I was most impressed with was the reaction to me mentioning my nut allergy - I don't like to make a fuss and always take responsibility for myself, however our very friendly waitress insisted that not only was my cutlery to be separately cleaned and brought out later, but also my meal was to be prepared in a separate part of the kitchen after a full level 2 (I think) clean down. I said that was not necessary but apparently this is standard. What an amazing reaction to the issue! I find most restaurants very reasonable but this was by far the best service to assure someone with dietary requirements - and meant I was completely relaxed when enjoying my food. I will be back to recognise this very positive policy

A nice, relaxed atmosphere with ample space for a pram. The menu had a good selection of starters, mains and desserts at an affordable price. The steak was cooked to request and thoroughly enjoyable. A good selection of continental beers as well. Definitely recommend.

Fabulous family restaurant, we are always welcomed by the lovely Angela and her big smile. I have an Aunt with very specific dietary requirements, which the staff fully understand and support us with. It's one of the few places we feel relaxed enough not to worry about intrusive questions. The fact we can bring our dog too and not only is he welcome, he gets his own menu, is wonderful - please never change.

What a fantastic place for breaky, lunch or dinner !!! We popped in for a quick lunch and was met at the door by a fantastic staff member, Angela. Angela couldn't have been more helpful, professional and friendly. Thank you, Angela. The food was superb and the available refreshments were endless. Can't rate this experience highly enough !!! Do yourself a favour and try it out for yourself and you won't regret it.... and if you're lucky, Angela might even meet you at the door as well !!!

Attended The Jenny Burn on Sunday 11th August and my wife and I were looking forward to a Sunday breakfast together. We were given a warm and friendly welcome by Anita who was also our waitress and took our order while chatting away with us, asking how we were etc. This is a very important asset for any establishment to have, as it is always nice to be made welcome and to feel that you matter as a customer. Our breakfast was really nice and good value for money, although one wee tiny gripe, my metal tea pot was a bit of a dripper. Well Done Anita and all staff at The Jenny Burn, we will be back.

2nd time visiting, went with my husband and 3 grandchildren, food was excellent, even 3 very fussy eaters ate everything on their plate, the kids play area is great and all staff were phenomenal, all very upbeat and friendly . Shout out to Milo ( hope I have that right) young lady, dark hair with an amazing bat tattoo, who was particularly friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and bring more family next time. Also we hadn’t booked and it was busy but we were made very very welcome, thank you .

My daughter has allergies (milk & dairy) but luke made sure of double checking her order to make sure all food was safe and allergy free. Service and food amazing plus they have vegan dairy free ice cream which is a bonus!!

Angela’s service was a 10/10, always making sure our food was delicious which it was just perfect. I’d definitely recommend Jenny burn and ask for Angela, also a big thanks to Chloe from the kitchen for our sauce.

Three of us returned yet again to the Jenny Burn for lunch. As always it was delicious. We were served by Angela who remembers us - same table, remembers bowls of hot water for cleaning our hands after the chicken wings which we always have. She is polite, efficient and friendly. We have never had a bad meal nor have we ever seen one being brought out of the kitchen. Can’t think of a better recommendation.

Been to the Jenny Burn a couple of times for food and drinks and have always had a great experience with high quality food/drinks at really decent prices. Tonight Luke was our server who was very attentive, friendly and provided with everything we needed!

Took a chance here as it says dog friendly.. oh my they certainly are ..toys /water/treats...great service from Mark and the team .. wee granddaughter had an accident with the juice no quibble about cleaning up ...also got a wee play area for kids and a pond for a walk around...reasonably priced .

Popped in with my family for lunch for our first ever visit, we really enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere and seating. The food was delicious and the staff were excellent. Our only problem were the tiny portion in the starters , and the very very small plate of chips . We will still make this a regular go too place though as it was bright clean and welcoming.

Best value for money Scottish Breakfast you'll find!

We attended this venue last night prior to their charity evening event and we had dinner. Quite an extensive menu, staff were attentive and it was quite busy too! I had the Cauliflower bites for starters, Mains I opted for the Chicken Pizza and my wife the Gammon Steak, both came warm, well presented and tasty! For Dessert I had the Trifle Cheesecake which was tasty and my wife had the Sticky Toffee pudding which was dry and could have done with more ice cream. All in all worth a visit and they have a range of deals on which is worth checking out and they take Blue Light card etc.

First time visiting and can’t wait to come back. The food was very tasty & quick. Kids portions were very good and added bonus when we found out kids eat for £1 with adult meal. Luke took very good care of us & was very attentive. He was a great server and we will definitely be back thanks to him.

An excellent family get together in the Jenny Burn. The kids area was an added bonus to keep the kids entertained. The staff we super helpful and friendly. Especially Anita her service was outstanding. I can't wait to go back again.
