Disaster of an establishment. Went in for food and drinks at 5.25pm after shopping in Glasgow. Told the 12yr old in our party needs to go at 6pm. Ok, early, out a lot in Glasgow with the child and this seems strict but their rules. Ok. Sit down, order food and drinks and the server demands every person orders a main? Not just drinks, one main (teen) and sides or we have to leave. We just left, can’t be bothered with stupid staff or businesses determined to cut their own throats. Staff were very unfriendly. Area was tiny. Looks awful, much better closer. AVOID.

Introduced to this place by a friend. The menu was traditional Scottish food and it was really enjoyable. The service was great and the atmosphere was good, with different areas. The area downstairs to the back had a great vibe, would definitely recommend.

Lovely Lunch with christmas voucher. 1st time being here. Both had Rustico chicken, which was lovely and so filling. Foccacia garlic and cheese was lovely and fresh and bigger than we thought. Will be back.

Tuve mi fiesta de cumpleaños número 30 aquí y fueron increíblemente serviciales. Bloquearon un espacio privado para nosotros y nos permitieron dejar algunas decoraciones en la mañana. El personal era muy servicial y no podría haber hecho lo suficiente para nosotros!

First visit, very warm welcome and offered a table on a busy night without reservations and no fuss. Very good expresso martini and vodka mix, nice mixed crowd, warm and happy place. We'll be back

Good drinks, music good and at a level you can have a conversation and I enjoyed the variety of music too. Don’t bother with food; haggis bon bons, Bruschetta were tasteless; the nachos were awful; processed squeezy cheese and passable salsa…not good. I will definetly return for drinks.

Received a voucher to have a Sunday Roast dinner. Was a really cold day , place was empty when we 1st went in so it was rather chilly but staff turned the heater on. It warmed up eventually and the restaurant started to fill up. The roast was very tasty and was a generous helping, and we had some dessert afterwards which was also delicious

Had a fantastic meal , was served promptly and food was of a very high quality. The staff were really attentive and a lovely ambiance in the restaurant, would highly recommend 👍

Excellent food and staff so friendly

Was here for a rugby match. Was out the back where they had a cool heated patio area. Overall, they had a good atmosphere, and everything seemed well priced.

Fue bueno, pero no puedo decir que fue excelente, fue simplemente bueno. Tuvimos un entrante Haggis Bon Bon, ahora que estaba delicioso, bien servido con un buen baño. Para la alimentación, utilizamos un vale para un filete de solomillo de 8 oz y lados y una copa de vino cada uno para dos, el filete era bueno, ciertamente no una calidad de asador más como una calidad de cucharas meteorológicas, pero a pesar de que era sabroso y bien dividido. Vino de la casa decente y no caro a diferencia de algunos establecimientos cercanos.

Had a fantastic birthday celebration here. Their enclosed area at the back is phenomenal, staff were great, pizzas delicious and prices extremely reasonable! Would highly recommend.

Food was good , wine was alright. The service wasn't that great. Bit disappointed. Seemed like other tables got better experience than we did.

Gran comida, gran servicio, muy amable, acogedor personal servicial, bonita pinta de Guinness, perro agradable y familiar. Nos topamos con este lugar buscando un lugar que acepta perros para el almuerzo y estamos tan contentos de haberlo hecho. La sopa y el sándwich era una gran relación calidad-precio y la sopa era la mejor que he tenido. Pizza, queso macarrones y papas fritas parmesanas también excelentes. Volvería en un santiamén la próxima vez que estemos en Glasgow.

Great food, great service, very friendly, welcoming helpful staff, nice pint of Guinness, dog friendly and family friendly. We stumbled upon this place looking for a dog friendly place for lunch and we're so glad we did. The soup and sandwich was great value for money and the soup was the best I've ever had. Pizza, macaroni cheese and parmesan fries all excellent too. Would return in a heartbeat next time we are in Glasgow.

Menu was varied and everyone in our group of 10 loved the food. Staff were exceptional nothing was too much trouble. If you haven't tried this lovely bar/restaurant your missing out.

Bought a itison voucher for Sunday roast. Absolutely loved every bit on our plates roast potatoes would be hard to beat. Even got beer and vino.Servicewith a smile 😃. Defo return.

Gezellig klein eettentje in Glasgow. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het eten was simpel. Niet te duur of te veel. De prijs is in verhouding.

Absolutely loved my experience at Cul Cuil! Abbie and Cat were fantastic hosts, making sure every moment was enjoyable. The cocktails were out of this world, each sip a delightful surprise. Can't wait to come back for more!

Great wee bar.. Very very busy when I was there...though served really quickly, the staff work well together to get everyone served even though it was quite hectic. Good atmosphere, decent pint and a nice little outside area. Only managed to stay for a couple of pints, but would like to go back at some point and try some of the food. Great bar.

I was here with my sister for a bit of lunch for her birthday and I must admit it was absolutely lovely.The young girl who served us was so pleasant and helpful ,we had a wonderful afternoon.

Great prices. We were out the back, which is ideal for a reasonably large group to talk without shouting over music. The snacks were great and staff often came down to take drinks orders.

Had a few cocktails on a Saturday night. Busy place as you would expect, but the staff were still efficient enough to get to your table with a steady supply of drinks!

Had our work Xmas night here, the vibe was great ideal for a night with friends. We only had drinks bit great menu to try next time we go. Will be back.

I’ve been here a few times and the food is okay. The garlic Parmesan fries are to die for!!! But the other food is very mid and slightly overpriced. The burger was very dry and the Mac and cheese was a bit tasteless. They do £5 cocktails during the week which were fab! The atmosphere is very cosy and cute. The service is fast and the staff are lovely. The portions are big and it’s decent value for money.

Great wee place. Had a pizza lunch, which was superb. Would have given it a 5star but it was lunchtime and quiet. Hopefully not for long.

This is such a great little find. Only been a couple of times but really like the atmosphere. Don't get many pubs that do table service these days and liked having a few cocktails and chatting with friends without having to shout over music.

Good central place to meet up with friends for a pint after work..

It's a nice wee place, perfect for a date. The food isn't mind-blowing but still good. The staff were really nice too. Desserts were pretty good too

We popped in on Saturday afternoon for drinks and snacks. We sat downstairs. Snacks were delicious and drinks reasonably priced. The staff were all nice. We spent a couple of hours here. Will definitely go back. This was our first visit but won’t be the last.

Came across the pub on Saturday afternoon, Wow! Fantastic choice of decent draught beers and spirits, knowledgeable and attentive staff topped off with great food at very competitive prices for the centre town. No need to add photos as some of the other stranger reviews show the size and depth and colour of the place perfectly! Absolutely 10/10 Bob.

I came in on Tuesday afternoon and was served by Jordan. He was absolutely amazing, great guy to talk to. I felt so welcome and I can’t wait to come back. He made made me an espresso martini with a really cute design on top and it was one of the best I’ve had! Definitely recommend and I will be back !

This place was perfect for our large group to go for drinks after work. For those that ordered food, it arrived very quickly and was lovely. The service was amazing - special thanks to the bartender, Jordan, he looked after my large group all night. He couldn’t do enough for us and was very attentive. Would definitely recommend!

Where to begin... Last Saturday, we booked Sunday Lunch for the next day using a voucher. Two hours later, we were called by a memeber of staff cancelling, stating they had suddwnly had a 'kitchen malfunction'. She did ask if we would like to book for the following week but we weren't sure of our plans so I said we would call back. This morning, I received an email from Itison stating that 'Cuil Cuil can no longer honour vouchers for this deal'. Odd, as it was still in date. I wanted to find out more so I called the restaurant and the call was taken by someone who claimed to be the manager. My work colleague was sittijng beside me and she couold hear the aggressive tone and shouting coming from the other end of the phone. I was perfectly calm although she kept shouting that I wasn't. All very strange. She told me a story about how the kitchen has to be closed every Sunday for repairs. Why, then, did the staff member offer me the following Sunday when she cancelled my booking...? I asked to speak to her boss. She said she didn't have one! Naturally, I asked repeatedly if that meant she owned the restuarant but she talked over me. She eventually said the owners refuse to speak to customers. Really? I was calm throughout but I got the feeling that the lady was intimidated by my manner and tone. It was the complete opposite to hers which was , I have to say, common and unprofessional. Cuil Cuil has had my businesss for a while now but there are far better restaurants in Glasgow to bother with this one. Meat Joint, Chateau X etc... Finally, the lady without a boss said she would wait for my review and she would look forward to replying to it, no doubt maliciousoly. So watch this space....

Drinks and nibbles for my big birthday at Cul Cuil tonight. Brilliant food and more importantly, brilliant service from barman Connor. Highly recommend

For someone with severe anxiety who doesn't often go out, the staff were amazing and friendly and made it an enjoyable meal and drinks. Thank you. Fantastic customer service!!! And lovely food and drinks!

Planned a hen party this past Friday for a friend. From start to finish Cul Cuil were amazing. Nothing was too much hassle for them. We had free reign on decorations and entertainment. It can be a stressful planning any type of party but the staff at Cul Cuil made it very easy. We had the buffet in the evening (9 items)- everyone commented how good the food was. Would definitely use Cul Cuil again for other events. Special thanks to Fran the manager for being so accommodating and Jordan for joining in with all the fun! Thank you again!

Visited this place on Wednesday for a quick bite to eat and a drink. Food was lovely staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return.

I was at at hen party in the courtyard out back what a fab night the staff were fantastic especially Jordan the food was very good hot and tasty buffet style and the price we paid was well worth it keep up the good work x

The staff are dedicated to their job, very helpful and considerate, they are well knowledged in their cocktails and mixes. The pub itself is very clean and well kept furniture, it also has a downstairs which expands into a bigger area with a lot more seating, they do provide table service saving a trip to the bar. The food menu has a good few options, i.e pizza, burgers etc.... All food is prepared fresh, they have a pizza oven aswell. The toilets are up stairs and are well maintained aswell

What an amazing venue, we had an incredible night! The food in unreal, we all had pizzas and they were by far the best pizzas we have tasted in Glasgow, a very authentic Italian style. The cocktails were so tasty and there is such variety. The staff were so friendly and accommodating

A surprisingly spacious wee find! Friends and I went in looking for a spot of lunch and we were met with absolutely gorgeous food and very friendly staff! Inside has such a lovely ambience, service was quick and friendly, will be back!

As a group of 4 we brought a couple of ItIsOn deals which gave us a choice of 5 small plates per couple and a glass of wine or a beer each. When the food arrived we barely had space on the table for it all there was so much of it. The food and the staff were great. We stayed on for another couple of rounds of drinks after the food was finished because we really liked where we were. Excellent.

Sunday - Weds they offer select cocktails at £4.95 and full pizzas for £5.95 which is amazing value in quite an expensive city. Would recommend to anyone!! They have a heated garden area too which you can hire out for parties etc! If you’re visiting Glasgow, or live here, come to Cul Cuil! :)

Had some food and drinks in here the food was delish Panko chicken and chicken salad with chios. I'll definitely go back and recommend to friends. All the staff were amazing, friendly and attentive especially Sam, Conner, Jordan and Claudia. Makes a difference when you have great staff. Can't wait to go back thanks guys.

I was here with a friend for the itison voucher meal deal. Staff were nice and very helpful. Wasn't that busy when we came in, but the time we left it was. Looks small from the outside but spacious inside and lovely decor. The food was fresh and very tasty. Will definitely come back 👌

First time we’ve been to Cuil Cul and will definitely return. We tried it with an Itison Sunday Roast (main course only) deal and it offered great value for money with everything you’d expect on a Sunday Lunch but they also offered a Neef or Chicken option. Also very good choice of draft beers and good house wine. We didn’t have the £5 Sunday cocktails as they only do 4 at that price The dessert (waffle) was excellent and agIn good value as often these are excessively prices for what you get. Place was very clean and in the (covered) garden area through the back it was very light and pleasant. The staff on Sunday 2nd July were also excellent- really attentive and welcoming. First time and will definitely be back

We choose this restaurant for our Sunday roast … at first the interior has very nice decoration it’s like a beer garden with flowers everywhere.. unfortunately the food let us down .. we ask for medium rare beef but the waitress told us it comes cooked in one style . The meat was overcooked and it was chewy with no taste at all .. the gravy was very watery , the potatoes is like frozen the veg was almost uncooked but somehow burnt. The drinks was ok. But I don’t think I will go again for food maybe for some drinks during the night. It was a waste of 52 £ 2/10

Guys went above and beyond great team and brilliant venue

We wandered over here for an early lunch. It was before the lunch crowd came and we luckily got to sit in the very cute back room they had! It was decorated with pretty lights and plants. We got mimosas, pizza, Mac and cheese bites and halloumi fries. All was delicious in a very relaxing atmosphere.

First time visiting 24.04.23 Staff were welcoming,polite and attentive, The food was faultless and reasonably priced,(goats cheese salad,mushroom pasta and a side of seasoned fries,2 pints, £27) Seated in the front area,it was clean and tidy, the venue has a cosy feel to it, Definitely worth another visit even if only for a pint of Red Stripe🍺.

Cul Cuil is a great wee bar where you can even reserve a table. Great friendly staff - will definitely be back many times as it is my next port of call after lunch in Dim Sum.

Great looking restaurant with pop idols decorating the walls and other artistic features. A helpful screen showing the dishes provided. Had the Haggis bon bons with a sauce to start and Steak pie to follow - delicious. A bottle of Sauvignon Blanc at a good price. Customer Service very good. Price reasonable

Stopped here during the week and it wasn't busy at all. Pizza had amazing crust, but flavorless thin tomato juice sauce. The drinks and service were good.

Just got drinks here and not great. Mostly american IPA's for beer.

Came for an it is on deal and the food was great. The staff were lovely and attentive.
